Introduction: The characteristics of the postgraduate course in health, and especially the development of master's degrees, are sources of research in impact evaluation due to the importance they have in academic quality. Objective: To evaluate the impact of the Diagnostic Media master's program at the University of Medical Sciences of Matanzas. Methods: A prospective, analytical, longitudinal impact evaluation project was carried out during the period between 2019 and 2023. Theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were applied to determine the quality of the training program and its transformations. Results: This type of evaluation allowed to know essential elements in the development of the master's program in the institution and to obtain relevant information on its influence on the individual, institutional and social-community aspects. Conclusions: The evaluation of the impact of the master's degree under study, feedback was achieved for the continuous improvement of the training program. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We discuss in this work the tactics of student access to higher education that have replaced the strategies of knowledge production. It might means lowering standards of academic quality, in Venezuela. This might happens because higher education in Venezuela will become isolated from international tendencies. Meaning to have then country to join a supposedly revolutionary block of nations, made up of Bolivia, Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela. If this block can find political and ideological legitimacy it is centered in a pattern of endogenous scientific and technological development that by necessity will drive these countries to isolation from the international tendencies.
