Abstract
The article presents information on the Hispanism at the universities of Czech Republic and the influence of Latin American studies. The use of Spanish in Romance languages and the scientific study of the language are discussed. The introduction of language knowledge practice in theory and historical grammar Spanish is considered. The conception of romance philology in the universities of Czechoslovakia is also discussed.
