This paper presents, firstly, the context of the works presented in this special issue, focusing on qualitative research in language and literature teaching. Secondly, it specifies that the general purpose of the issue is analyzing the interaction in the classroom, among students and between students and teachers, in the framework of literary education and language(s) teaching and learning.
