This work aims to present an overview of the factors, attributes or behaviour of entrepreneurial leadership research with a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. 1,594 articles, dated from 2000 to December 2020, were taken from the main Web of Science database collection and analysed with a bibliometric study using performance analysis and scientific mapping methods. To evaluate the importance, quality and impact of publications, indicators like productivity, citations or h-index were used to obtain an analysis of trends and advances on the most relevant publications, authors, journals and countries. Research was complemented by scientific mapping obtained through co-citations, bibliographic couplings, co-occurrences and co-authorships. The results show that the trend of publications has considerably increased since 2015, and the highest productivity was recorded in 2020. The USA and England are two of the most influential publishing countries, although the network analysis reveals cooperation with different countries. The most productive journal is Sustainability and the most influential is the Journal of Business Venturing. This systematic mapping of the field helps to illustrate the research evolution over time, identifies areas of current interest for use in theoretical and empirical frameworks, and provides a solid roadmap for future research. The keyword analysis reveals that the term “entrepreneurial leadership” started to be used in its own right from around 2018 on average.

This paper aims to present a bibliometric analysis of the literature on an entrepreneurial intention that considers different topics to enhance starting a business. Using the Core collection of the Web of Science, 1,549 papers are found from 1900 to December 2020 to be analyzed. The analysis is focused on documents, authors, journals, countries, and keywords to detect areas and trends in this field of study. Likewise, bibliographic couplings, co-citation, and co-occurrences are analyzed. Findings show that the field has started to grow since 2010; the most influential authors and universities are in Spain and Taiwan, such as the case of Liñan, Liang, Ip, and Moriano.

Information and communication technologies play a critical role in tourism, providing benefits such as improvement in tourism experiences, co-creation of value, and promotion of the marketing of relationships and phygital experiences, where online and offline environments are combined. In recent years, tourism planning and management through smart destinations has aroused great academic interest by including the dimensions of governance, sustainability, accessibility, innovation, and technology. This work aims to analyse and to visualize the scientific production associated with technology in the context of smart destinations. For this, evaluative and relational bibliometric analysis techniques were applied to the bibliographic data of 395 articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science up to September 2021. The results indicate that there is considerable growth and that a number of authors, countries, and leading institutions contribute significantly to scientific knowledge. In addition, using two bibliometric software tools, VOSviewer and SciMAT, a co-citation network of authors was built to describe their intellectual structure, and a keyword co-occurrence analysis was performed to identify the main thematic areas. The motor themes that drive the research are the conceptualization of tourist destinations, innovation, and data, while experience is a crosscutting theme. Additionally, some limitations and applications of the research are discussed, as well as the practical implications for destination management.

La pertinencia del employer branding se justifica en los colaboradores de las organizaciones, ya que estos son los principales stakeholders hacia los que se debe orientar la naturaleza del marketing y, para esto, es necesario otorgar propuestas de valor a este importante cliente interno. El objetivo de este estudio es mostrar una visión general del desarrollo de la investigación del tema. A partir de la base de datos Scopus, se analizaron 430 registros. A través de la exploración de diferentes indicadores bibliométricos se identificaron los autores y países más productivos, las publicaciones más citadas, así como la cooperación entre autores, el análisis de co-ocurrencia de citas y palabras clave. Finalmente, se buscó identificar las áreas de investigación actuales (y futuras) de la marca empleadora o employer branding. The relevance of employer branding guides its reason for being in the collaborators of the organizations, these being one of the main stakeholders to whom it must guide the nature of marketing, providing value proposals to this important internal client. The objective of this study is to show an overview of the development of research on the subject. Using the Scopus database, 430 records were analyzed. Through the exploration of different bibliometric indicators, the most productive authors and countries, the most cited publications, as well as cooperation between authors, analysis of the co-occurrence of citations and keywords are identified. Finally, it seeks the identification of current and future research areas of the employer branding.

This study seeks to establish whether news sharing in social media is a mature field of research by using bibliometrics as a tool. The Web of Science database was searched for articles that contained the term ‘news sharing’ in titles, keywords, and abstracts. A total of 133 articles was obtained, which enabled us to address the question of whether there are well-established journals and authors that cover the subject. The results show a certain ambiguity, which could explain why the chosen subject matter is often studied in fields outside of Communication Studies; however, while studies on news sharing are conducted by researchers from heterogeneous fields, this has not translated into greater interdisciplinarity.

Este artículo compara la producción científica de Perú y Ecuador entre 2009 y 2018. Se recuperaron documentos con al menos una afiliación peruana o ecuatoriana desde el Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, Arts & Humanities Citation Index y Emerging Sources Citation Index de la base de datos Web of Science. Se evaluaron la tendencia y el crecimiento exponencial de la producción científica, se identificaron instituciones y áreas temáticas más productivas. Se estudió la estructura intelectual de la producción científica peruana y ecuatoriana mediante el análisis de acopla-miento bibliográfico de autores (AABA) y el análisis de cocitación de autores (ACA). Los resultados muestran que Perú tiene mayor producción acumulada que Ecuador. Sin embargo, Ecuador tiene mayor producción en los tres últimos años, incluso con pronóstico de seguir produciendo más que Perú. Las instituciones más productivas en ambos países son las universidades, y las categorías temáticas más productivas para Perú son salud ocupacional y ambiental y, para Ecuador son investigación educativa y ciencias ambientales. = This article compares the scientific production of Peru and Ecuador between 2009 and 2018. Documents with at least one Peruvian or Ecuadorian affiliation were retrieved from the Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, Arts & Humanities Citation Index and Emerging Sources Citation Index of the Web of Science database. The trend and exponential growth of scientific production were evalua-ted, more productive institutions and thematic areas were identified. The intellectual structure of the Peruvian and Ecuadorian scientific production was studied by means of the authors bibliographic-coupling analysis (ABCA) and the authors co-citation analysis (ACA). The results show that Peru has greater accumulated production than Ecuador. However, Ecuador has more production in the last three years, even with a forecast to continue producing more than Peru. The most productive institutions in both countries are the universities, and the most productive subject categories for Peru are occupational and environmental health, and for Ecuador they are educational research and environmental sciences.

What is being researched and which is the sources of knowledge? Those are questions that researchers ask in the construction of new scientific advances. Research on legitimacy and higher education has grown in recent years. This make difficult to get a current view of the situation in which this field of research is. The purpose of this research is to identify and visualize the current state of research in the field of legitimacy and higher education. Through a bibliometric methodology based on co-citations, the current intellectual structure of this research field is analyzed. Furthermore, the main research areas, the main contributors and the means of dissemination of this knowledge are identified. This work contributes to the development of the field of legitimacy and higher education by providing an integral vision of the situation of this domain, a starting point and an adequate theoretical basis for researchers to build new advances.
