© Copyright 2014 by Nodus Publikationen, Münster, IX Congreso Internacional de la Sociedad Española de Historiografía Lingüística (SEHL), celebrado en Córdoba (España), 11-13 de septiembre de 2013., Resultado de un esfuerzo conjunto, las reflexiones presentadas en esta contribución –que toma como punto de partida la investigación del pasado y del presente en el campo de la historiografía de la lingüística española/hispánica (y de la lingüística en general)– tienen un triple reto: (a) aunque cabe insistir sobre la diversidad de situaciones y problemas que se pueden estudiar en la historiografía de la lingüística, hay que resaltar la necesidad de un esfuerzo cooperativo de investigación en un campo interdisciplinario que depende crucialmente de la interacción entre investigadores (a través de sociedades científicas y congresos internacionales); (b) las reflexiones aquí formuladas insisten sobre la importancia de manejar con flexibilidad las herramientas analíticas (y cuadros interpretativos), y sobre la importancia de incorporar los aspectos terminológicos/terminográficos en el análisis historiográfico; (c) por fin, esta contribución pone en evidencia la necesidad de una reflexión crítica sobre cuestiones de delimitación, problemas de argumentación, y aspectos de contextualización en la historiografía de la lingüística (así como, de manera general, en la lingüística). Como análisis histórico-reflexivo del pasado y del presente de los estudios sobre lengua(s) y sobre el lenguaje, la historiografía de la lingüística tiene un papel crucial en la formación de futuros lingüistas, en particular a través de la confrontación crítica con la gran variedad de aproximaciones, modelos, técnicas y conceptos que se han producido en el largo camino de la lingüística., The result of a “joint venture”, the reflections formulated in this contribution –which takes as the starting point the past and present research in the field of the historiography of Spanish/Hispanic linguistics (and of linguistics in general)– have a threefold aim: (a) while stressing the diversity of situa- tions and problems that can be studied within linguistic historiography, they show the need of a collaborative research effort in an interdisciplinary field which hinges on the interaction between scholars (through scientific societies and international conferences); (b) the reflections offered here show the importance of operating with flexible analytical tools (or interpretive grids), and the importance of incorporating terminological/terminographical aspects in historiographical analysis; (c) finally, the present contribution stresses the need of a critical reflection on the issues of delimitation, on problems of argumentation, and aspects of contextualization in linguistic historiography (and linguistics in general). As a historical-reflexive analysis of past and present studies on languages and on the phenomenon of human language, the historiography of linguistics has to play a crucial role in the formation of future linguists, especially through the critical confrontation with the great variety of approaches, models, techniques and concepts that have occurred in the large history of language studies., Sociedad Española de Historiografía Lingüística (SEHL)
