In hospital services context, it is important to consider what refers to external communication, given the need to properly guide the link with the rest of society; in this sense, it is necessary to organize and promote relationships with other institutions. The ways to achieve this purpose have been the object of attention and study for several decades. This article aims to systematize knowledge about external communication strategies in hospital services. A narrative review was carried out in data banks: VHL, PubMed, and SciELO, according to the indexed descriptors. Seven articles developed in different countries were included in the analysis. Among the specific components of this type of strategy, there are organizational information diagnoses; policies; strategies; communicative products, informational products and services; information and communication structures and their managers; skills training programs; as well as control, monitoring and evaluation of the results of each activity, together with the action of a multidisciplinary team that enhances all this development.

Introduction: Edward Bach discovered floral therapy as a form of treatment that includes 39 floral essences, being Rescue Remedy one of the most used, which is related to emergency, stress and distress situations. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of Rescue Remedy in patients with persistent mild asthma crisis. Methods: A study of therapeutic intervention was carried out in patients with persistent mild asthma crisis, assisted in the Emergency Department of Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso Teaching General Hospital in Santiago de Cuba, during the third quarter of 2018. The sample was constituted by 60 patients, distributed in 2 groups with 30 members each one. The group A (study) was treated with floral therapy (Rescue Remedy) and group B (control) with medications. Results: Before the 20 minutes of receiving the therapy, 90.0 % of the patients from group A improved the symptoms, unlike just 53.3 % of the patients from group B. None of the affected patients from the study group showed adverse reactions; while 96.7 % of the control group presented side effects. Conclusions: The Remedy 39 or Rescue Remedy was effective as emergency therapy in the studied patients.

En el presente trabajo se propone un nuevo modelo para la evaluación del riesgo biológico en procesos biofarmacéuticos. La propuesta extiende un modelo existente, aportando como principal novedad el tratamiento de las determinaciones de los niveles de consecuencia y probabilidad de riesgo, como problemas de clasificación supervisada. Específicamente, se obtuvieron modelos de clasificación basados en árboles de decisión que poseen como ventajas más importantes: 1) un número menor de indicadores para la determinación de consecuencias y probabilidades, 2) un orden de medición de los indicadores, basado en la importancia de los mismos. Con el objetivo de analizar las bondades del nuevo modelo, se consideraron tres casos de estudio relacionados con procesos farmacéuticos reales. En comparación con el modelo anterior, el nuevo ofrece resultados similares, pero facilitando notablemente el proceso de evaluación del riesgo biológico. AbstractA new model for assessing biological risk in biopharmaceutical process is proposed in the present work. This proposal extends an existing model including the handling of the consequence and probability levels computations as main novelty, and also as supervised classification problems. Specifically, two classification models based on decision trees were obtained, which gives as major advantages: 1) a lower number of indicators for the determination of consequence and probabilities, and 2) an order of measurement of the related indicators. In order to analyze the benefits of the new model, three real pharmaceutical processes were considered as cases studies. In comparison with the previous model, the new one offers similar results, but significantly facilitating the biological risk assessment process.

From a historian’s point of view, the accuracy of the Romans’ statements varies greatly and has to be evaluated in each instance separately. The Romans’ opinions concerning the Greek politicians should be judged cautiously, because the Roman writers were not interested in giving an overall assessment of the Athenian oligarchs’ political careers.

Varios fenómenos reales pueden ser modelados como problemas dinámicos de optimización. Estos problemas han sido tratados eficientemente mediante métodos evolutivos durante los últimos 25 años. En este contexto, la evaluación del rendimiento de estos métodos es aún un tema en desarrollo. Sin embargo, a partir de una revisión de la literatura desarrollada en este trabajo, es posible advertir la ausencia de un marco de trabajo que se organiza convenientemente los progresos alcanzados en este campo de investigación. En consecuencia, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo proponer un marco de trabajo que permita no solo organizar los avances actuales, sino también identificar posibles medidas aún no propuestas. Se incluye además un análisis de las principales tendencias en este campo de investigación. El principal resultado obtenido a partir del marco de trabajo propuesto es el predominio de medidas de rendimiento basadas en el promedio de la calidad de la solucion obtenida por el algoritmo en términos de la funcion objetivo. This article deals with the first part of beginning teachers, as actors of education in the school environment. Discipline plays a role in the procedural and personal control activities beginning teacher. Defining discipline is based on the concept of power and power elements, combined with the perception of educational situations in the school setting themselves actors - teachers. The second part introduces to some selected discourses indicators and outlines opportunities for further work with the concepts of discipline.

Stackelberg’s game models involve an important family of Game Theory problems with direct application on economics scenarios. Their main goal is to find an optimal equilibrium between the decisions from two actors that are related one to each other hierarchically. In general, these models are complex to solve due to their hierarchical structure and intractability from an analytical viewpoint. Another reason for such a complexity comes from the presence of uncertainty, which often occurs because of the variability over time of market conditions, adversary strategies, among others aspects. Despite their importance, related literature reflects a few works addressing this kind of non-stationary optimization problems. So, in order to contribute to this research area, the present work proposes a self-adaptive meta-heuristic method for solving online Stackelberg’s games. Experiment results show a significant improvement over an existing method.

The education system of Cuban states as final evaluation to obtain the bachelor degree the presentation of a thesis, which must be presented to an evaluation team of professionals. The task of building these teams is commonly developed by human experts based on its intuition and previous experience. However, this task usually becomes complex if the number of thesis and professionals increases, and if one must to fulfill several criteria like: the professional knowledge on the thesis topic, its availability, its scientific level, etc. This situation can be modeled as an optimization problem that can be solved by classic methods. However, classic methods need in general to explore the search space which can be considerably huge because its combinatorial nature. In that sense, the present work proposes a simple evolutionary algorithm that solves in an efficient way this problem. As validation, we have selected four cases of study related with the Informatics Engineering career at University of Holguin

Presenta los resultados de la investigación desarrollada a la empresa "Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara", fábrica de níquel ubicada en Moa, con motivo de informatizar el proceso de confección de su presupuesto de ventas. Particularmente se caracteriza dicho proceso, mostrándose sus principales dificultades. Además, se describe la solución propuesta para la problemática encontrada, explicándose por qué la misma debe ser un "software a la medida" y a la vez una aplicación Web ASP.NET. Por último, se valida la implantación del sistema propuesto a través de encuestas y entrevistas.

In this paper the problem of obtaining the Optimal Workforce Planning for enterprises is addressed as a mathematical optimization problem. Given the complexity and specific features of the corresponding optimization model, the Ant Colony Optimization metaheuristic was applied as the solution method. From computational experiments, we have shown the effectiveness of our proposal versus other state-of-art algorithms.

The creation of working groups of students in education is a common process that is often developed by the teacher intuitively. However, such a process is actually a complex task since various students and criteria must be taken into account. In general, these criteria are often in conflict because they are a reflection of the educational interests of teachers and on the other hand, the individual preferences of students. In this sense, this paper has as general goal: to propose a mathematicalcomputational solution that efficiently automatizes, in terms of computational time and solution quality, the creation of working groups of college students. The results obtained from two real scenarios of the Universidad Tecnica Estatal de Quevedo indicate that the proposal is an effective alternative to the traditional model.
