Maestría en Calidad y Gestión Integral. Las actividades investigativas que desarrolla la Maestría se orientan a la producción y validación de conocimiento en el campo de los sistemas de gestión normalizados, así como a su aplicación en contextos organizacionales o sectoriales; también investiga sobre la forma de integrar los diversos sistemas de gestión en el interior de las organizaciones y en la articulación de estos con los pilares del desarrollo sostenible, ampliando la visión habia una gestión integral para favorecer la competitividad a mediano plazo.

RESULTADOS DE INVESTIGACIÓN ESPECIALIZACIÓN EN ADMINISTRACIÓN Y GERENCIA DE SISTEMAS DE LA CALIDAD Los estudiantes de la Especialización en Administración y Gerencia de Sistemas de la Calidad deben elaborar un proyecto de investigación que cumple la función primordial de servir como marco articulador de los aprendizajes logrados; a continuación se presentan los proyectos realizados entre el segundo semestre del año 2008 y el segundo semestre del año 2009, lo cual permite una mirada a la amplia variedad de campos, organizaciones y situaciones en las cuales resultan aplicables los modelos de gestión de la calidad.

Background: ILD is a common manifestation in pSS and is associated with an increased risk of death. APCA are strongly expressed by hyperplastic alveolar epithelial cells in the fibrotic lung and are associated with an accelerated decline in lung function in IPF. In the present study, we aimed to evaluate the clinical utility of APCA in ILD patients with pSS., Methods: Clinical, laboratory, PFTs and imaging data from pSS patients were reviewed, and the ESSDAI was utilized to evaluate disease activity. HRCT semiquantitative scoring was conducted. We compared the clinical characteristics of pSS patients with and without ILD and carried out logistic regression analysis of risk factors for ILD in pSS., Results: A total of 74 patients with pSS and 40 HCs were included in the study. ILD was more commonly observed in the APCA-positive group than in the APCA-negative group. The quantitative levels of APCA were positively correlated with the imaging score. Multivariate analysis found that the long disease duration, elevated APCA and elevated KL-6 level were independent risk factors for ILD in pSS patients. The area under ROC curve for APCA was 0.6618, and the threshold concentration was 153.82ng/ml (sensitivity 45.24%, specificity 87.50%)., Conclusion: APCA level is an independent risk factor and might be a potential biomarker for ILD in patients with pSS., (Copyright © 2023. Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of ACE I/D gene polymorphisms on diabetic kidney disease (DKD) risk., Methods: All eligible investigations were identified, the number of various genotype in the case and control group were reviewed. The pooled analysis was performed using Stata software., Results: In overall subjects, 24,321 participants with 12,961 cases and 11,360 controls were included. the pooled analysis showed a significant link between D allele, DD or II genotype and DKD risk (D versus I: OR=1.316, 95% CI: 1.213-1.427, P=0.000; DD versus ID+II: OR=1.414, 95% CI: 1.253-1.595, P=0.000; II versus DD+ID: OR=0.750, 95% CI: 0.647-0.869, P=0.000). The subgroup pooled analysis showed that ACE I/D gene polymorphism was correlated with DKD both in Asian and in Chinese population. In addition, ACE I/D gene polymorphism was correlated with type 2 DKD (D versus I: OR=1.361, 95% CI: 1.243-1.490, P=0.000; DD versus ID+II: OR=1.503, 95% CI: 1.310-1.726, P=0.000; II versus DD+ID: OR=0.738, 95% CI: 0.626 -0.870, P=0.000). However, there was no obvious correlation in Caucasian subjects and type 1 diabetic patients., Conclusion: ACE I/D polymorphisms were correlated with DKD in Asian and type 2 diabetic populations. Snakebite envenoming is a global public health problem. The pediatric population poisoned by snakebite envenoming has different features than adult patients. Bungarus multicinctus is a highly venomous species of the elapid snake. The documented clinical presentations following Bungarus multicinctus envenoming are minimal local reactions, respiratory failure, general pain, and life-threatening hyponatremia. Treats of symptomatic infants with congenital cystic lung lesions (CCLLs) need surgical resection. Variable location and size of the air cyst of involved lung mean that different surgical strategies must be selected. The presence of huge CCLLs mimicking tension pneumothorax would hamper accurate judgment and timely treatment in dealing with respiratory emergencies. Rare experience reports are coping with childhood tension cystic lung lesion. We present a case of childhood huge CCLLs which was similar to tension pneumothorax based on clinical manifestations and imaging evaluations. Implementation of instant decompression measure against tension pneumothorax failed to alleviate respiratory distress of child.
