In researching student learning experience in Higher Education, a dearth of studies has investigated cognitive, social, and material dimensions simultaneously with the same population. From an ecological perspective of learning, this study examined the interrelatedness amongst key elements in these dimensions of 365 undergraduates’ personalised learning networks. Data were collected from questionnaires, learning analytics, and course marks to measure these elements in the blended learning experience and academic performance. Students reported qualitatively different cognitive engagement between an understanding and a reproducing learning orientation towards learning, which when combined with their choices of collaboration, generated five qualitatively different patterns of collaboration. The results revealed that students had an understanding learning orientation and chose to collaborate with students of similar learning orientation tended to have more successful blended learning experience. Their personalised learning networks were characterized by self-reported adoption of deep approaches to face-to-face and online learning; positive perceptions of the integration between online environment and the course design; the way they collaborated and positioned themselves in their collaborative networks; and they were more engaged with online learning activities in the course. The study had significant implications to inform theory development in learning ecology research and to guide curriculum design, teaching, and learning.

En el presente trabajo se revisa la relación entre cognición, cultura y lenguaje y se aplica esta a la enseñanza-aprendizaje de ELE en el caso de los alumnos chinos, tomando como punto de partida el supuesto de que pensamiento, cultura y lenguaje son herramientas de cognición. Conocer las diferencias cognitivas entre los hablantes chinos y españoles, si es que existieran, servirá para enseñar y aprender el español con una mayor eficiencia. Para ello, en este trabajo, se ha comparado el sistema cuantificativo español con el clasificativo chino, lo que ha conducido a las hipótesis de la posible existencia de una base cognitiva común subyacente a ambos sistemas lingüísticos. La parte teórica se ha basado en el pensamiento de figuras de la filosofía del lenguaje (Wilhelm von Humboldt), la antropología lingüística (Edward Sapir y Benjamin L. Whorf ) y la lingüística cognitiva (Pedrosa, Álvarez González, Gomila, Anna Wierzbicka, Dan Slobin, Llopis García, Ruiz Campillo y Castañeda Castro). En la parte más aplicada, se ha recurrido a los estudios sobre los elementos clasificativos chinos y los cuantificativos españoles, realizados principalmente por Ni, Liu, Marco Martínez y Rovira Esteva.

Whether it be movies, books, social media, or even video games, we are endlessly exposed to images of places around the world. Thus, our first encounters with the urban atmosphere are not new anymore, only altered views of the way we experience the space. This paper aims to investigate the effects of preliminary ideas of cities prior to arrival and reflect as urbanists and architects, upon the disparity between reality and anticipation., [ES] Vivimos en una época donde todo cambia cada día, donde gran parte de la vida está compartida de modo online. Las experiencias, pensamientos y opiniones están intercambiados sin límite. Instintivamente, viajar a un sitio nuevo y absorber la diferente escena urbana no será del mismo modo que lo fue. Ya sea a través de redes sociales, libros, películas o incluso videojuegos, todos estamos expuestos a imágenes y comentarios de cualquier ciudad. Por lo tanto, nuestros puntos de vista a la hora de entender un espacio urbano, aunque sea la primera vista, están alterados. El presente trabajo pretende investigar los efectos de ideas preconcebidas sobre ciudades y teniendo en cuenta estos efectos, tanto como las herramientas actuales, reflexionar como urbanistas y arquitectos, sobre la disparidad entre la realidad y la anticipación.

RESUMEN Las larvas del Orden Lepidoptera son plagas importantes que causan daños significativos en los cultivos hortícolas. El control biológico por los parasitoides es una alternativa potencial para el manejo de estas. Con la finalidad de conocer el nicho de parasitoides de larvas del Orden Lepidoptera en los cultivos de brócoli, repollo, tomate y zapallito de tronco de manejo convencional del Centro Fruti-hortícola de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias (FCA) de la Universidad Nacional de Asunción (UNA), se recolectaron larvas del Orden Lepidoptera en dichos cultivos. Se identificaron diez géneros de parasitoides, los cuales, fueron Apanteles sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), Carcelia sp. (Diptera: Tachinidae), Charops sp. (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), Chelonus sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), Copidosoma sp. (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae), Euplectrus sp. (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae), Glyptapanteles spp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), Oomyzus sokolowskii (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae), Parapanteles sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), y Pseudapanteles sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae). Se reportó por primera vez el parasitismo de Carcelia sp. y Charops sp. en larvas de Diaphania hyalinata (Lepidoptera: Crambidae). Los parasitoides Copidosoma sp. fueron los responsables de mayor porcentaje de parasitismo (57,29%), seguido por Pseudapanteles sp. (48,48%) y Chelonus sp. (29,41%). La identificación de estos parasitoides es un aporte para el conocimiento de la fauna benéfica del país. ABSTRACT The larvae of the Order Lepidoptera are important pests that cause significant damage to horticultural crops. Biological control by parasitoids is a potential alternative for their management. In order to know the niche of larvae parasitoids of the Order Lepidoptera in broccoli, cabbage, tomato and zucchini crops of conventional management of the Fruit-horticultural Center of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FCA) of the National University of Asunción (UNA), larvae of the Order Lepidoptera were collected in said cultures. Ten genera of parasitoids were identified, which were Apanteles sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), Carcelia sp. (Diptera: Tachinidae), Charops sp. (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), Chelonus sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), Copidosoma sp. (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae), Euplectrus sp. (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae), Glyptapanteles spp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), Oomyzus sokolowskii (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae), Parapanteles sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), and Pseudapanteles sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae). Parasitism of Carcelia sp. and Charops sp. in larvae of Diaphania hyalinata (Lepidoptera: Crambidae). The parasitoids Copidosoma sp. were responsible for the highest percentage of parasitism (57.29%), followed by Pseudapanteles sp. (48.48%) and Chelonus sp. (29.41%).
