Graffiti is now a well-known document for its scientific interest and is the subject of a growing science: graffitology. It refers to an ancient and complex phenomenon which is characterised by a diversity of natures, functions, contexts and authors. Because of this plurality, it is a matter of questioning the existence of a sociodifferentiated use of walls in history, beyond any specific corpus. To do so, I suggest a reflection and an assessment on the sociological approach of graffiti makers, while questioning the method, the issues and the limits of such an endeavour. Recent historiographical contributions point to a multiple practice that goes beyond social, economic and cultural affiliations and invite us to reconsider the sociological extent of graffiti and its place in past and present societies. As sociocultural objects and direct testimonies, graffiti give voice to ordinary people as well as elites, to the popular masses as well as to the wordless, to the illiterate as well as to the literate.

As contribuições sociais sobre a receita, o faturamento e lucro, destinadas ao financiamento da Seguridade Social, vêm, sucessivamente, correspondendo a mais da metade da arrecadação tributária federal. No entanto, em razão da aplicação do mecanismo da Desvinculação de Receitas da União (DRU), o orçamento da Seguridade Social é considerado deficitário. O presente artigo evidencia a participação da contribuição para o PIS, da COFINS e da CSLL no financiamento da Seguridade Social, apresenta noções gerais de tais tributos, e menciona propostas, que tramitam no Congresso Nacional, que visam à alteração da sistemática da DRU.

The border between Brazil and French Guiana is a place of economic, cultural, social and sexual exchange. Female sex workers represent a high risk population for HIV in this area where sexual tourism is particularly developed. HIV testing seems to be an important element in the fight against the epidemic. Indeed, early HIV testing gives access to treatments and prevention. An HIV/AIDS knowledge, attitudes, behaviors and practices survey was conducted in 2011 among sex workers along the border between Brazil and French Guiana. A total of 213 female sex workers were interviewed. One third (31.5%) of the interviewed had never tested for HIV. Factors associated with non HIV-testing were the lack of knowledge of places where to do an HIV test, to be 30 or older, feeling at risk of HIV, not evaluating one's own risk towards HIV, and living in Oiapoque. These results clearly suggest that targeted interventions are needed to encourage and assist female sex workers to get tested regularly.

Objetivo: Comparando los resultados obtenidos en los estudios EUROASPIRE I y EUROASPIRE III en pacientes con cardiopatía isquémica se muestra que el grado de control de los factores de riesgo mayores es mejorable. El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar la eficacia de una intervención multifactorial orientada a la mejora del grado de control en estos pacientes en el ámbito de la atención primaria. Métodos: En este estudio de intervención aleatorizado, con 1 año de seguimiento, se reclutó a pacientes con diagnóstico de cardiopatía isquémica (145 en el grupo de intervención y 1.461 en el grupo control). Se aplicó una intervención organizativa mixta basada en la mejora de la relación profesional sanitario-paciente (de acuerdo a los modelos del Chronic Care, el Stanford Expert Patient Programme y el Kaiser Permanente) y en la formación profesional continuada. Los principales resultados fueron el efecto sobre el tabaquismo, el colesterol unido a lipoproteínas de baja densidad (cLDL), la presión arterial sistólica (PAS) y la presión arterial diastólica (PAD) a través de un análisis multivariable. Resultados: Las características de los pacientes fueron: edad (68,4 ± 11,8 años), varones (71,6%), diabetes mellitus (51,3%), dislipemia (68,5%), hipertensión arterial (76,7%), no fumadores (76,1%); cLDL < 100 mg/dl (46,9%); PAS < 140 mmHg (64,5%); PAD < 90 (91,2%). El análisis multivariable mostró que el riesgo para el buen control en el grupo de intervención fue tabaquismo, riesgo relativo ajustado (RRa): 15,7 (intervalo de confianza del 95% [IC95%], 4,2–58,7); p < 0,001; cLDL, RRa: 2,98 (IC95%, 1,48–6,02); p < 0,002; PAS, RRa: 1.97 (IC95%, 1,21–3,23); p < 0,007, y PAD; RRa: 1,51 (IC95%, 0,65–3,50); p < 0,342. Conclusiones: Una intervención multifactorial basada en el modelo de paciente crónico centrada en atención primaria y que facilite la toma de decisiones compartidas con los pacientes y la formación de los profesionales mejora el grado de control de los factores de riesgo cardiovascular (tabaquismo, cLDL y PAS). Las estrategias de mejora en la atención de la cronicidad pueden ser una herramienta eficaz para conseguir mejores resultados.

Com a aplicação da reforma dita do "LMD" (Licence, Master, Doctorat),1 as universidades francesas iniciaram um processo que, segundo seus idealizadores, vai facilitar a harmonização dos currículos europeus e a mobilidade internacional dos estudantes. Ora, uma análise mais aprofundada revela que essa reforma é norteada por outras lógicas que favorecem mais particularmente o desenvolvimento da concorrência entre estabelecimentos e uma maior "mercadorização" do ensino superior. Com essa reforma, a preocupação pela democratização do ensino superior parece ter completamente desaparecido e o lugar concedido a uma pesquisa livre e autônoma - que, entretanto, está na própria base da idéia de universidade -, parece ter sido reduzido ao estrito mínimo, em virtude, entre outras coisas, do desenvolvimento de uma concepção utilitarista e mercantil tanto do ensino como da pesquisa.With the introduction of the reform called 'LMD' (Licence, Master, Doctorat), the French universities started a process that, in according to its idealizing, will facilitate de harmonization of the European curriculum and the international mobility of the students. However, one more deep analysis shows that this reform is guided by others logic that support, more particularly, the development of the business competition among the educational institutions and the commodification of the higher education. With this reform, the preoccupation about democratization of the higher education looks to be completely disappeared and the place given to the free and autonomous research, that in the other hand is in the basis of the idea about university, to be reduced to the strict minimum, owing to, among other things, the development of an utilitarian and commercial conception of both, education and research.
