The purpose of this paper is to analyze the narratives about the inclusion-exclusion of university students with disabilities in the city of Temuco, Chile. Therefore, it was decided to reconstruct the university experience of young people through the biographical-narrative method as it offers insight to give meaning and understand the cognitive, affective and action aspects of students with disabilities. In the same way, for the purposes of this paper a discourse analysis model has been formulated based on the theoretical-methodological proposals proposed by Gilberto Giménez (1989) that guide the work with the corpus obtained for the present study. Consequently, the analysis of the corpus allows us to describe and highlight that each experience should not be treated as an expression of a unique thought, since disability is not a standard situation and each case enriches its very notion based on its particularities. Finally, the students who agreed to share their stories reinforce the importance for them of both family context, institutionalization and the role of friendships; same that acquire the role of thematic axes from which topics emerge, as well as implications around the inclusion-exclusion binomial.

Adolescent pregnancy is a social and public health problem that has been usually addressed by promoting sexual and reproductive education among teenagers and youngsters. However, these interventions tend to ignore gender inequities, inequality gaps, poverty, marginalization, social deprivation and lack of respect for human rights, although changing these circumstances could favor the prevention of this phenomenon more directly. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between adolescent fertility and the conditions of the social and economic structure in the state of Tamaulipas through a regionalization with the REDCAP (meaning, Regionalization with Dynamically Constrained Agglomerative Clustering and Partitioning) algorithms procedure done at the municipal level, to identify the risk of adolescent pregnancy. The findings revealed significant differences in vulnerability levels by region based on socioeconomic and fertility variables. This undoubtedly shows the need to address the phenomenon of adolescent pregnancy with differentiated approaches as well.

In this paper we analyse the main barriers that people with intellectual disabilities who have suffered sexual abuse have to face when they access the Justice system. Regarding these barriers, the Victim Support Unit for People with Intellectual Disabilities of the Fundación Carmen Pardo-Valcarce proposes the inclusion in the judicial process of a helper advisor. The entry into force in 2015 of the Law 4/2015, in 27 April, the Statute of the crime victim represents an exemplary opportunity to ensure the incorporation of support proposals involving the insertion of the helper advisor in the judicial process in cases where the victim is a person with intellectual disabilities. In this paper we analyse the impact of the helper advisor, with particular emphasis on cases that have been dismissed under instruction.

Teacher Professional Development” (aka teacher PD) has garnered research attention in recent years. Scholars seek to understand the teacher PD process, while practitioners are interested in deriving policies to facilitate teacher PD. The consensus emerging from the pool of literature is that teacher PD should be “individualized”: more focused on fostering teachers’ personal growth instead of enforcing “standard practices”. The Anglosphere has been leading in the domain of teacher PD, causing many regions to imitate its practices. Using documentary analysis, this paper reviews teacher PD policies in Hong Kong over the past forty years and compares them with practices typically adopted in the Anglosphere. The paper suggests that the PD policies of Hong Kong progressed from ‘solely teacher training’, to ‘emphasis on generic skills’, to ‘lifelong learning’. The concept of ‘Confucian Heritage Culture’ is used to explain the differences between the Angloshpere and Hong Kong in terms of PD practices. Implications for adapting teacher PD practices cross-culturally are discussed.

This paper deals with a comparative study of material Educational Policies in Health Education in the countries of the European Union for the purpose of seeing take shape in Spain. The EU legislation states that if you want to advance as a knowledge society and compete effectively in a global economy, Europe is vital to have an education and training of high quality. In the European Union, education policy is the responsibility of each country, but among all set common goals and share best practices. For this reason this study is to compare the educational policies on health education in some countries of the European Union (Spain, UK, France and Germany) and to compare the practices in each of them to this take the best of each country mode. The general objective pursued is to analyze and compare the situation of education policies in health education in the schools of the European Union and in particular the UK, France, Germany and Spain. Throughout this paper we will see that health education in school is a quality item as well as a necessary element of comprehensive education in all stages of compulsory education.

Based on a survey developed in three Brazilian state capitals, this paper presents data and interpretations about the sexual practices and management of sexual desire among male and female youth. The findings indicate a close connection between gender and sexuality in modeling individuals' sexual trajectories and subjectivities. There is a higher acceptance of practices formerly considered to be deviant, revealing that sexual morality among youth has acquired a more modern configuration. This paper argues that there is a differentiated modernization of sexual values: gender disparities were detected in the answers of respondents in all social environments. The increasing flexibility of individual trajectories does not necessarily lead to gender equality. The affirmation that the individualizing process coexists with the persistence of traditional gender ideology entails the recognition that men and women's, and different generations' and social segments' modernization paths do not evolve in the same way.

The paper reviews the current National Policy of Social Welfare in Brazil and the work developed with families within the Brazilian social protection approach. It describes the Unified System of Social Welfare and explores the relationship of the Basic Social Protection to the Bolsa Família Program, the Brazilian program of conditional cash transfer to vulnerable families. It discusses the principles of the methodology for working with vulnerable families in the Unified System of Social Welfare and analyzes examples of social interventions. It argues that the work developed with families must be based on participatory and dialogical approaches, including follow-up methods, group dynamics, action-research, and other interventions. The paper concludes with questions regarding the use of a socio-educational methodology as a component of policies for vulnerability reduction, social development and the promotion of citizenship.

El presente documento tiene como propósito explorar aportes de la psicología crítica al entendimiento de las dinámicas que se mueven en el mundo del trabajo y las organizaciones, y algunas críticas que esta aporta a la psicología organizacional y del trabajo moderna. Para tal fin, se plantean algunos elementos conceptuales de base para clarificar la acepción al respecto del concepto subjetividad y las implicaciones de la psicología crítica; igualmente se exponen algunas reflexiones que explicitan las formas en que el discurso psicológico -reflejado además en prácticas- está embebido en el mundo del trabajo y las organizaciones, y que en gran medida contribuye a construir las subjetividades de personas que trabajan, y las relaciones que se establecen al interior de las organizaciones de trabajo.O objetivo do presente documento é analisar as contribuições da psicologia crítica ao entendimento das dinâmicas envolvidas no mundo do trabalho e das organizações, assim como algumas críticas que tal ramo da psicologia fornece à psicologia organizacional e do trabalho moderno. Para tal fim, alguns elementos conceituais de base são propostos para esclarecer a acepção a respeito do conceito de subjetividade e as implicações da psicologia crítica; igualmente apresentam-se algumas reflexões que explicitam os modos como o discurso psicológico - representado ademais nas diferentes práticas - está embutido no mundo do trabalho e das organizações, e que, em grande medida, contribui à construção das subjetividades de pessoas que trabalham, assim como as relações que se estabelecem no interior das organizações de trabalho.This paper aims to explore contributions of critical psychology for the understanding of the dynamics that take place in the world of work and organizations, and some reviews that this psychology makes to the organizational psychology and modern work. To this end, some basic conceptual elements are proposed to clarify the meaning of the subjectivity concept and the implications of the critical psychology. This paper also presents some thoughts that make explicit the ways in which psychological discourse -furthermore, reflected in the practice- is embedded in the world of work and organizations, and greatly contributes for building the subjectivities of the working people, and the relationships established within working organizations.

O presente artigo analisa a trajetória e consolidação do Movimento de Mulheres Negras (MMN) na cena pública brasileira ao longo dos últimos trinta anos. Através de entrevistas com militantes pioneiras e participantes desse movimento social bem como de levantamento de fontes documentais, o estudo teve o intuito de compreender quais processos subjazem a constituição desse novo sujeito coletivo, seus dilemas e redes de solidariedade com outros movimentos sociais, o lugar das hierarquias de gênero e raça em suas reivindicações, além do seu processo de institucionalização/burocratização e sua articulação com o Estado brasileiro.This paper examines the trajectory and consolidation process of the Afro-Brazilian Women's Social Movement in the public sphere over the last thirty years. Trough interviews with activists and participants of this social movement as well as survey of documental sources, the study had the aim to understand those processes that underlying the constitution of these collective political subjects, and their dilemmas and solidarity networks with other social movements. Furthermore, this paper also discusses the role of hierarchies of gender and race in the Afro-Brazilian Women's Social Movement claims, and its process of institutionalization / bureaucratization along with its articulation with the Brazilian state.

A pobreza revela-se, no Brasil, como questão de primeira ordem. A Psicologia, inserida no campo social e cuja história aponta uma ação comprometida socialmente, não poderia ficar alheia a essa situação. O objetivo do presente trabalho é investigar as respostas que têm sido produzidas sobre essa questão, a partir do exame da literatura, buscando analisar as proposições e os limites e impactos das intervenções. Foi realizada uma pesquisa documental em três etapas: construção de um banco de dados com 312 publicações; recuperação dos resumos de 109 artigos; seleção, leitura e análise de 47 artigos. A produção acerca do tema é dispersa, heterogênea e possui interseção com outras áreas do conhecimento. Verifica-se um avanço na produção de conhecimento e atuação com populações pobres. No entanto, ainda é necessário construir teorias e técnicas inovadoras de trabalho, bem como compreender os limites estruturais dessa atuação.Poverty is a main theme in Brazil. Psychology, as a welfare profession, and given its historical concerns with social actions, could not be away from this theme. The purpose of this paper is to examine the literature on this subject, analyzing the propositions, the intervention's limits and impacts. We carried out a three stages document-based study: (1) online databases survey (312 papers identified); (2) 109 scientific abstracts accessed; (3) 47 scientific papers selected, read and analyzed. The production about the main theme (poverty) is dispersed, heterogeneous, and related to other fields of knowledge. In general, it appears that Psychology has improved the scientific production and experiences with poor population. However, it is necessary to build up theories and technical innovations and also to understand structural boundaries for professional practice.

The Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo Tecnológico Aplicado al Comportamiento (CIDETAC) was founded in 2012, after a set of actions aimed at encouraging the approach and scientific production in students and professors of the psychology degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, in the south of the state. The purpose of this paper is to describe the circumstances that resulted in the emergence of the center and other associated projects such as the Revista de Psicología y Ciencias del Comportamiento de la Unidad Académica de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales.

El objetivo del presente trabajo es demostrar que existe un pensamiento psicológico en José Martí. Se señala el criterio martiano de la unidad de observación y reflexión como base de la ciencia, su pensamiento multilateral y sintético, su promoción explícita de la ciencia del espíritu, su concepción sobre la unidad de lo general, lo particular y lo individual en el hombre, sus ideas sobre el pensamiento, la imaginación, la inteligencia, la afectividad, sobre la unidad del conocimiento y el afecto y sobre el espíritu de los pueblos.O objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar que existe um pensamento psicológico de José Martí. Destacam-se o critério martiano da unidade de observação e reflexão como base da ciência, o seu pensamento multilateral e sintético, sua promoção explícita da ciência do espírito, sua concepção sobre a unidade do geral, o particular e o individual no homem, suas ideias sobre o pensamento, a imaginação, a inteligência, a afetividade, sobre a unidade do conhecimento e do afeto e sobre o espírito dos povos.The aim of the present paper is to bring to light Marti's psychological ideas. The paper discusses Marti's concepts on the science of the spirit. It deals with his beliefs on the unity of observation and thinking as the basis of science; with his multilateral and synthetic thinking; with his ideas regarding the unity of the general, the particular and the individual in man; with his concepts of thinking, imagination and intelligence, moral and motivation; with his beliefs on the unity of cognition and affection, and with his ideas on the spirit of peoples.

Este trabalho propõe e analisa a Musicoterapia como estratégia de produção de saúde do trabalhador, em estudo desenvolvido junto a profissionais técnicas de enfermagem de uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva infantil de um hospital público da cidade de Porto Alegre. A atenção à saúde dos trabalhadores produz novas questões teórico-conceituais, práticas, éticas e políticas no campo da Musicoterapia, ligadas ao território do trabalho e suas configurações contemporâneas, ao "ser" trabalhador e à saúde, e que têm implicações sobre a Musicoterapia e o musicoterapeuta na contemporaneidade. À luz das contribuições de Foucault, este trabalho centraliza-se na discussão do hospital como território de produção de subjetividades, a partir do desenvolvimento do conceito de 'Panáudio', mapeando e analisando efeitos deste dispositivo, que se efetivam pelos contextos sonoros. Aponta controles e resistências possíveis e propõe a produção de novas subjetividades pelo uso das práticas musicais em Musicoterapia em uma proposta de abordagem institucional.This paper proposes and analyzes Music Therapy as a production strategy towards workers' health in a study developed with nurse technicians from a Children's Intensive Care Center of a public hospital in Porto Alegre. The concern with workers' health brings about new theoretical, conceptual, ethical and political queries in the field of Music Therapy, such queries are related with the working field and its contemporary features, with the working being and with health; these queries produce consequences on Music Therapy and Music therapists contemporarily. Based on Foucault's contributions, this paper focuses on the discussion about hospitals being a field for subjectivities production, from the development of the 'Panaudio' concept, mapping and analyzing its effects, which are effective by sound contexts. This paper also points out possible controls and resistances and proposes the production of new subjectivities by using musical practices in Music Therapy, in a proposal of institutional approach.

En este trabajo, analizamos algunos procesos de negociación de significado y desarrollo de micropolíticas en las experiencias de docentes y directivos en una escuela normal mexicana con la reforma a la educación normal de 1997. En dicho plan de estudios se estipula que los estudiantes realicen prácticas escolares durante el último año de la carrera. El estudio se enfocó en las actividades que realizaron los docentes de manera previa a las prácticas del preservicio con la primera generación de estudiantes del plan de 1997 de la Licenciatura en Educación Primaria. En el artículo mostramos cómo los docentes y el personal directivo de la normal del estudio, transitaron por un proceso de negociación de significado y generación de micropolíticas en su relación con la propuesta curricular nacional y la forma en que se organizaron bajo un esquema que concebimos como comunidad de práctica cultivada.Neste trabalho analisamos alguns processos de negociação de significado e desenvolvimento de micro-políticas nas experiências dos docentes e autoridades em uma escola normal mexicana após a reforma à educação normal de 1997. Neste programa de estudos estipula-se que os estudantes realizem os estágios escolares durante o último ano da faculdade. O estudo foi focado nas atividades que realizaram os docentes de forma prévia aos estágios do pré-serviço com a primeira geração de estudantes do plano de 1997 do Bacharelado em Educação Primária (Ensino Básico). No artigo mostramos como os docentes e autoridades da normal do estudo, transitaram por um processo de negociação de significado e geração de micro-política na sua realização com a proposta curricular nacional e a maneira com a qual foram organizados, sob um esquema que concebemos como comunidade de prática cultivada.In this paper, we analyze the experiences of teachers and principals in a Mexican teachers' college following the teacher education reform of 1997. In the aforementioned study program, it is stipulated that students undertake practice in schools during the final year of their degree course. The study focuses on the activities carried out by teachers prior to the pre-service practice with the first generation of students from the 1997 Primary Education degree program. In the paper, we show how the teachers and administrative staff at the teachers' college have adapted by means of a process of negotiation of meaning and the generation of micropolitics in their relationship with the national proposal, and the way in which they are organized as part of a scheme that we conceive as community of practice cultivated.

Trata-se de levantamento de artigos publicados em Psicologia Organizacional e do Trabalho (POT), de 2001 a 2005, nas revistas brasileiras: Estudos de Psicologia, Psicologia e Sociedade, Psicologia em Estudo, Psicologia: Reflexão e Crítica, Psicologia: Teoria e Pesquisa, Psicologia USP, e Psicologia: Organizações e Trabalho. A análise considerou número de artigos, temas, metodologia, referências, formação profissional e área de atuação dos autores. De 1105 textos publicados, 178 (16%) foram em POT. Os artigos foram classificados em nove categorias temáticas. Do total de artigos analisados, 30% eram teóricos e 70% empíricos. A maioria dos autores é de psicólogos e está vinculada às universidades. Dentre os principais resultados, destacam-se a diversidade temática e metodológica da produção científica em POT, bem como a preocupação em contemplar as mudanças sociais, econômicas, políticas e tecnológicas. A produção de conhecimento está voltada tanto para subsidiar intervenções como para impulsionar o desenvolvimento teórico da área.This paper is a survey about Work and Organizational Psychology (WOP) of articles published from 2001 to 2005 in the following Brazilian journals: Estudos de Psicologia, Psicologia e Sociedade, Psicologia em Estudo, Psicologia: Reflexão e Crítica, Psicologia: Teoria e Pesquisa, Psicologia USP, and Psicologia: Organizações e Trabalho. The analysis examined the number of papers, themes, methodology, references, professional education and the authors' area of practice. Out of 1105 published papers, 178 (16%) were on WOP. The papers were classified in nine theme categories. From the total amount of papers analyzed, 30% were theoretical and 70% empirical. Most authors are psychologists and are connected to universities. Among the main results, it was highlighted the thematic and methodological diversity of scientific production on WOP as well as the concern on social, economic, political and technological changes. The knowledge production provides data for interventions as well as for improving theoretical development of this area.

A partir da temática geral do XI Simpósio da ANPEPP"Maneiras de pesquisar no cotidiano: contribuições para a formação em pesquisa em Psicologia", e tendo em vista a participação do autor no GT "Cotidiano e Práticas Sociais" da ANPEPP, este texto busca descrever a prática de formação em pesquisa a partir da teoria do ator-rede. Após efetuar a recensão de um texto de Bruno Latour, um diálogo entre um professor e um aluno em que são expostas as principais características da prática de pesquisa no âmbito desta abordagem, o autor busca precisar o posicionamento epistemológico-metodológico da referida teoria assim como suas raízes fundadas na filosofia pragmática, descrevendo sucintamente algumas proposições de William James e John Dewey.Using the actor-network theory, this paper describes the practices of becoming educated in research, based on the general subject of the XI ANPPEP Symposium "Ways of searching in everyday life: contributions to the formation of research in Psychology", considering that the author was a participant in the ANPEPP work group "Everyday life and Social Practices". After summarizing a paper of Bruno Latour, a dialogue between a professor and a student in which the main characteristics of the research practice in this approach are outlined, the author exposes in a more accurate manner the epistemological and methodological positioning of the referred theory and its pragmatic philosophical roots, describing briefly some propositions of William James and John Dewey.

Diante das atuais transformações no mundo do trabalho, tornou-se essencial aprofundar o debate sobre a relação entre trabalho e saúde/saúde mental, bem como sobre o reconhecimento dessa relação, de modo a garantir amparo legal ao trabalhador e, principalmente, trazer subsídios para a busca de mudanças nas situações de trabalho. Este artigo se propõe: discutir este tema, pontuando as dificuldades para se estabelecerem relações entre determinados aspectos do trabalho e o adoecimento; apontar alguns limites e expectativas, bem como a necessidade de diálogos que permitam avançar tanto do ponto de vista teórico como também em relação à aplicação prática dos conhecimentos produzidos. Pretende, enfim, chamar a atenção para o trabalho como categoria fundamental à compreensão da subjetividade e do processo saúde/doença mental.Considering the changes that are taking place nowadays in the world of work, it became essential to deepen the debate on the existing relationship between labor and health/mental health, and also on its recognition, in order to guarantee legal support for workers, and mainly to bring contributions in search of transformations in labor situations. The purposes of this paper are: to argue that topic, pointing out the difficulties of determining connections between certain aspects of work and falling ill; to indicate some limits and expectations, as well as the necessity of interlocutions that enable advances both in theoretical terms and on what concerns to practical application of the knowledge generated. So, this paper intends to put in relief that work is fundamental to understand subjectivity and the mental health/ disease process.

O presente trabalho debate a relação da teoria desenvolvida por Sílvia Lane com os autores soviéticos, em particular com Vygotsky e Leontiev. No trabalho se analisam os diferentes momentos do pensamento de Sílvia Lane, especificando suas contribuições para o desenvolvimento de uma psicologia social comprometida com a realidade social brasileira, assim como com a elaboração de categorias e problemas de relevância geral para a psicologia.The present paper discusses the link between Lane's theory and soviet authors, particularly Vygotsky and Leontiev. In this paper the different moments of Lane's thinking specifying her contributions for the development of a social psycology involved with Brazilian reality as well as the elaboration of categories and problems of general relevance to psychology are analyzed.

O texto apresenta o corpo teórico-metodológico que Sílvia Lane criou, ressaltando os seus pressupostos epistemológicos e ontológicos e demarcando os grandes momentos do seu processo de configuração. Um processo dialético que avança incorporando novos conhecimentos sem abandonar o anterior, mas unindo-os na produção de algo novo. Essa metodologia "prático-crítica-revolucionária, inicialmente intuitiva, foi se burilando cientificamente a partir de pesquisas empíricas, segundo Lane, fundamentais para a crítica dos conceitos e avanço da teoria. A tarefa do texto é fácil porque Sílvia registrou cada mudança em seus principais interesses, categorias analíticas e reflexões filosóficas, em seus livros. São quatro os momentos a serem destacados, todos eles de aprofundamento da sua radical superação teórica: a transição de um referencial configurado na interface entre Lewin, Mead, Skinner ao marxismo: (a) dos anos 70, marcado pelo diálogo privilegiado com a teoria das representações e pela preocupação com a linguagem e grupos sociais; (b) dos anos 80, momento das vigorosas reflexões sobre uma nova concepção de homem para a psicologia, com ênfase nas categorias de consciência e alienação, orientada pela escola de psicologia soviética e por neo-marxistas (Politzer e Heller); (c) dos anos 90, caracterizado pela reflexão sobre o papel da subjetividade/afetividade na conscientização social e na ação transformadora, superando o aprisionamento do sujeito à exterioridade e à pura repetição e o expurgo da singularidade, e pela reafirmação da pesquisa participante e da práxis comunitária; (d) a do novo milênio, dedicado a desvelar os segredos da criatividade humana. Emoção, arte e criação são os temas que passaram a mediar a sua incessante reflexão crítica das teorias e das conseqüências práticas da psicologia para a condição social da América Latina. Espera-se, assim, apresentar a processualidade de sua concepção-compromisso de ciência em busca do conhecimento da existência humana sem suturas.The paper presents the base of Sílvia Lane's theoretical-methodological work, highlighting its ontological and epistemological presumptions and delineating the grand moments of its configuration process. The dialectic process that advances incorporating new knowledge without abandoning the previous, but uniting it in producing something new. This "pragmatic-critical-revolutionary" methodology, initially intuitive, became scientifically chiseled out from empirical research, according to Lane, fundamental for criticizing the concepts and advancing the theory. The task of the text is easy because Sílvia registered in her books each change of her principal interests, analytical categories and philosophical reflections. There are four moments to be highlighted. All of them make a profound study of her radical theoretical overcome: the transition of a configured reference in the interface between Lewin, Mead, Skinner to Marxism: 1) from the 70's, marked by the privileged dialogue with representations theory and with concerns with language and social groups; 2) from the 80's, a time of vigorous reflections on a new conception of man for psychology, with emphasis on the categories of consciences and alienation, orientated by soviet psychology and neo-marxism (Politzer and Heller); 3) from the 90's, characterized by the reflection on the role of subjectivity/affectivity on social awareness and on transformative action, overcoming the subject's imprisonment to exteriority and to pure repetition and the purge of singularity, and by reaffirming participant research and community praxis; 4) from the new millennium, dedicated to unveil the secrets of human creativity. Emotion, art and creativity were the themes that became to mediate her incessant critical thoughts on psychology's theories and practical consequences for Latin America's social condition. Thus, this paper hopes to present the process of her conception-compromise of science in search of the knowledge of boundless human existence.

O presente texto aborda questões relativas à construção da psicologia social comunitária no Brasil e as interfaces deste processo histórico com a formação profissional. Para tanto, apóia-se em dados sobre o contexto histórico e social brasileiro no decorrer da efetivação das práticas psicológicas em comunidades. Finalmente, o estudo propõe reflexões quanto ao descompasso entre a formação e os fenômenos sociais contemporâneos.The following paper approaches issues related to the Community Social Psychology's construction in Brazil and the interactions of this historical process with the professional preparation. For this purpose, the Brazilian historical and social context is taken into consideration in order to reach effective psychological practices in communities. In addition, it associates Community Social Psychology's characteristics with the professional preparation and the Psychology's construction. Finally, this paper considers reflections about the professional preparation and contemporaries social phenomena.

O presente artigo tem por objetivo tecer considerações acerca da importância e possibilidade de promover fatores de proteção ao adolescente em conflito com a lei no contexto de aplicação de medida sócioeducativa. Tomando como referência a Doutrina da Proteção Integral - eixo central do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente -, o Paradigma da Promoção da Saúde e estudos sobre resiliência, postula-se a existência de alguns fatores considerados de grande relevância ao desenvolvimento dos adolescentes, visando modificar o quadro de vulnerabilidade ao qual encontram-se associados. Sugere que a ênfase nos aspectos saudáveis do desenvolvimento favorece a emergência do potencial positivo do qual todo contexto sócioeducativo deve ser revestido, a fim de possibilitar a construção de novas perspectivas aos jovens em risco social.The purpose of this article is to make certain considerations regarding the importance and possibility of promoting protection factors to adolescents in conflict with the law within the context of applying social and educational measures. Using the Integral Protection Doctrine as a doctrinal reference - the core theme of the Statute of the Child and Adolescent - and the Paradigm of Health Promotion along with studies on development and resilience, this paper postulates the existence of certain factors considered highly relevant to the development of adolescents, seeking to modify the situation of vulnerability in which they find themselves. The paper suggests that an emphasis on health aspects of development favor the emergence of a positive potential that should be included throughout the social-educational context, so as to enable the construction of new perspectives by socially at risk youth.

Traffic crashes are one of the main causes of mortality in the world. Driving anger and aggressive driving are risk factors frequently related to traffic crashes. Emotional intelligence has been recognized as a predictive factor for various types of aggressive behaviors. The aim of this paper was to analyze the role of emotional intelligence on aggressive driving and traffic violations. 318 undergraduates with driver license (82.5% females) aged between 19 and 27 years (M=20.77, SD=1.39) completed a survey battery measuring emotional intelligence (TMMS-24), traffic violations (DBQ), driving anger (DAS) and aggressive driving (DAX). Hierarchical regressions controlling respondent age and gender supported the predictive utility of Emotional Intelligence over traffic violations and mode of expressing anger while driving, especially adaptive expression. So, improving drivers Emotional Intelligence may be useful in preventing these risky driving behaviors

There are numerous reports about the relationship between the dopaminergic system and temperament in attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) yet, these reports avoid the study of the serotonergic system. The objective was to evaluate the role of brain serotonergic activity in temperament in children with ADHD from 0 to 12 years old. A search was carried out in publications bet-ween 1998 to 2021 in the database Pubmed and Ovid Medline. The search fields were title, abstract with indexed titles in English and Spanish. The search term included items from three categories ADHD, temperament, and serotonin. Of the 61 identified publications, two papers were included involving 412 children of age m = 7.36 ± 1.17, 55% were men, and 55% were Caucasian. The main findings indicate that serotonergic activity directly influences negative affect and effortful control, dimensions that moderate the presentation of ADHD symptoms. Considering temperament as a vulnerability factor in ADHD can be a valuable tool in diagnosis and intervention because it could serve as a predictor of psychopathology.

O termo ''pesquisa de campo'' é normalmente empregado na Psicologia Social para descrever um tipo de pesquisa feito nos lugares da vida cotidiana e fora do laboratório ou da sala de entrevista. Nesta ótica, o pesquisador ou pesquisadora vai ao campo para coletar dados que serão depois analisados utilizando uma variedade de métodos tanto para a coleta quanto para a análise. Neste texto, relatamos as conclusões iniciais de uma série de discussões sobre pesquisas de campo feita numa perspectiva pós-construcionista. Partindo das dificuldades provocadas por uma noção de campo fisicamente determinada, a discussão retoma a perspectiva de Kurt Lewin sobre o campo como totalidade de fatos psicológicos, para depois se aproximar das propostas de Ian Hacking sobre ''matriz'' e a discussão mais ampla sobre materialidades. A conseqüência desta reflexão foi a proposição de um ''campo-tema'' onde o campo não é mais um lugar específico, mas se refere à processualidade de temas situados. O texto conclui com uma discussão sobre algumas implicações desta proposta para o processo de pesquisa e para as práticas narrativas usadas para relatar as suas conclusões.The expression ''field research'' is normally used in social psychology to describe a type of research that is carried out outside the laboratory and in the places where everyday action takes place. In this approach, the researcher will go ''to the field'' in order to collect data that will later be analyzed and in order to do this a variety of different methods will be used, both to gather the data and to examine it. This paper reports on the initial conclusions from a series of discussions held on field research, taking as a starting point a post-constructionist perspective. Beginning with the difficulties created by the notion of ''field'' as physically determined and separate, the debate moved on to consider the arguments of Kurt Lewin in favor of a notion of psychological field in which the field is the totality of psychological facts, before settling with the notion of matrix as proposed by Ian Hacking and the wider discussion of materiality. The result was the proposal of the notion of ''theme-field'', in which field is no longer a specific place but refers to the processuality of situated themes. The paper ends by considering the implications of this approach for the research process and for the narrative practices that are used to describe it and to discuss its conclusions.

This paper analyzes the cumulative perception of insecurity, defined as the locations where people feel insecure due to crime, in the areas assisted by the National Crime Prevention Program (PRONAPRED) in the municipality of Chilpancingo, Guerrero, in Mexico. The factors associated with the perception of insecurity are examined, based on their explanatory theories, related to victimization, physical vulnerability, incivilities and social networks. Through a survey applied in 132 homes of the areas under study, data are obtained to perform bivariate (Mann-Whitney test and Spearman rank correlation coefficient) and multivariate (multiple linear regression) statistical contrasts between the perception of insecurity and the factors suggested in the literature. The findings show that the perception of insecurity is related with the presence of antisocial and criminal behavior, and with confidence in security and justice institutions; there is also a greater perception of insecurity among indigenous people.

This paper analyzes the effect of the 2012 educational reform (RE) on the teacher union. Particularly, the perceptions of the changes in the function and operation of the union in the context of the ER are studied. The teacher union is conceived as an organization that works in an institutional context, so it was considered appropriate to approach the study from the neo-institutional-sociological approach, this approach puts the perceptions of the institutions at the center of the analysis, from which the actions derive of individuals and political relations-hips. The work is relevant because the union is an actor with veto power, which plays an important role in the implementation of educational policies and reforms. Through work it ́s possible to analyze the feasibility of transforming the teacher union. It is also a case that allows us to study the dynamics of institutional and organizational change in Mexico.

Entrepreneurship has had a recent study boom by various disciplines that have been concerned about the phenomenon, among these is psychology. The aim of this paper was to analyze the work of psychology under a systematic approach to the literature, in order to identify gaps by the discipline in the research of entrepreneurship in which a new conceptual proposal could be inserted. A bibliometric analysis was carried out on 532 scientific texts resulting from inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the main countries, universities and authors who have contributed to the subject were obtained. An inductive content analysis of the most cited texts of the previous sample (n = 15) was also carried out in order to obtain a map of research lines which was confirmed and detailed with a deductive content analysis of the scientific texts with 80% of accumulated citations (n = 100). As a result of this, the possibility of including the study of entrepreneurship from entrepreneurial behavior is contemplated.

This paper describes a cooperative learning experience in which Social Education students and students with intellectual disabilities attending the “We’re all Campus” Program of the University of Murcia have participated. This experience has been reviewed in order to know the benefits and satisfaction of all participants. To this end, a mixed methodology has been used in which the collection of information has been carried out with different instruments. The possibilities and advantages of both approaches allow triangulation of information throughout the process. The results obtained indicate that the experience has been motivating for all participants, who have also developed numerous skills and competencies, which has led to high satisfaction. All of this leads us to conclude that the presence of these types of experiences does not only benefit students with disabilities but also all those who participate in them. The use of cooperative learning methodologies promotes that students are protagonists of their own learning and therefore, more meaningful learning takes place.

“Inclusiva Sí, Especial También” is an organization made up of people and institutions grouped in response to a climate of opinion auspicious to a foreseeable closure of Special Education Centers in Spain, generated in turn by different official bodies (United Nations, Spanish Government, Political Parties, Third Sector). This paper makes an approach to the behavior and interactivity of promoters and followers of the initiative “Inclusiva Sí, Especial También” in the social network Twitter, taking as reference the publications generated around the demonstration gathered on February 23, 2019 in Valladolid (Spain) against the closing of the Special Education Centers. The qualitative analysis of the Tweets shows two main plot categories and a common narrative strategy of the agents and actors in action on Twitter. The structural tensions accumulated in the long and unfinished process of inclusion of people with disabilities in the mainstream education system, has crystallized into a movement of resistance in front of the fear of losing segregated services, as the only source of specialized support.

This essay discusses the issue of trust that affects the formation of social capital and its relationship with the use of remittances from migrant communities. The objective of this paper is to understand why having a strong social capital in binational migrant civil society, the citizen’s participation, trust and cohesion of in the use of collective remittances is not permeated among native land of the migrant's families, mainly in the municipalities with a high concentration of poverty and marginalization, the case of the municipality of Tula, Tamaulipas. In this regard, it is assumed that associations of organized migrants, are well cohesive and face the economic problems of their homeland, because even though they trust the authorities and public programs, migrants and their home town families, they do not have the confidence to create local networks due to lack of training and ignorance of public programs, nor the interest to participate in possible projects financed with remittances.

Nowadays it is common to speak of inclusive classrooms without providing evidence of the true meaning of the term. In this paper we propose to present the process of development and validation of the ACOGE scale whose objective is to evaluate the quality of school classrooms to address diversity from an inclusive approach. In the development process we have used quantitative and qualitative analysis procedures in the following phases: (1) construction of a pool of items based on the theoretical construct and previous research; (2) consultation with expert judges in inclusive education; (3) organization of discussion groups with education professionals: center directors, teachers of early childhood education, compensatory education and therapeutic pedagogy; and (4) pilot scale. The results allowed establishing a theoretical frame of reference from which to build the scale according to the postulates offered by the literature and the experience contributed by the professionals of the education. We provide evidence of content validity based on the Educational Inclusion construct through observable indicators associated with quality inclusion and provide guidance on the usefulness of the scale for teachers.

There is confusion among the teachers regarding the choice and implementation of psychoeducational practices for students with ASD. This paper’s objective is present a set of 27 focused evidence-based practices that would conform the basis of individual intervention programs methodology or “eclectic technical programs” aimed at students with ASD, thus promoting greater chances of school success. For that purpose, we will focus from a “science to practice” approach, thus transferring science advance into the educational field.

Abstract Transphobia and discrimination against trans people are widespread. In view of growing scientific interest in understanding this type of discrimination and considering that scientific knowledge shapes the way a phenomenon is understood and addressed, this paper aims at identifying theoretical perspectives and categories used in contemporary scientific research (2005-2016) to explain discrimination against trans people. A review of literature and a qualitative content analysis of the selected documents (N = 68) were carried out. Two broad theoretical perspectives were identified: cognitive approaches and discursive approaches. The limitations of the two approaches are discussed in terms of how the problem of transphobia and discrimination is framed and explained and the scope for action offered. To overcome such limitations, a conceptual distinction between gendered practices and transphobic attitudes and ideology is suggested and an alternative theoretical proposal using discursive psychology is presented.

In this paper, it will be examined the conditions of positioning and the strategies by which an individual is accredited as a cultural agent. This research focuses on the analysis of a specific cultural actor, the artist, and its incorporation and development in the artistic field of the Mexican state of Nuevo León. The research design chosen was descriptive, while qualitative methodology was the most accurate approach for this subject. To obtain pertinent data from the involved actors, the semistructured interview was the research strategy chosen. The sample was constructed on the participation of eleven experts. The information obtained was analyzed by structuring the data collected in descriptive themes. From the results, it can be highlighted that, in order to gain a position inside the artistic field, an artist must be capable of fulfilling different roles, as creator, as a promoter, or as a professor. Also, his/her validation as a cultural agent will depend on his/her involvement in institutional contexts.

This paper presents the analysis and assessment of the Education Area of the Plan of Action for Persons with Disabilities in the Autonomous Community of Madrid (2012-2015), carried out after using a Delphi Method with a group of six experts. This work was aimed to make a formative evaluation of the Plan implemented, so that the analysis generated could be used by both managers of the next plan in project, as for educational stakeholders involved in the education field, but obviously, by people with disabilities as well, in order to support them to exercise effectively their rights. The synthesis document shows synthetically the main strengths of the plan but, mostly, the weaknesses or points to improve. Among these should be noted the need of a more efficient structure of programs and actions with clear indicators of achievement. Also there is a need of rethinking current models and areas of intervention, in order to those were much more consistent and coherent with the right to an education inclusive that has been established in the Convention of Rights of People with Disability, and with the models of understanding and intervention to improve their quality of life.

This paper is grounded on current conceptions on Family Quality of Life (FQoL) and family-centered intervention. It describes a part of the building process of a ‘Program for Supporting Family Quality of Life’, within the SAIOA-BBK frame a Gorabide’s information, guidance and support service for people with intellectual disability and their families. A major goal of this project is making proposals for professionals to fit the link between FQoL assessment and its improvement. The program was developed, constructed and tested through collaborative methods between professionals and university researchers, aiming to an increase of FQoL of families with sons or daughters among the youth and adulthood period. Program features, and how it was experimented in a pilot sample of families (n = 5) is presented.

This paper explores the differences between Conflict and Violence report in two groups: women have experienced Intimate Partner Violence and women with no report; residents in Hidalgo, Mexico. The Conflict and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) scales were applied into a 619 participants, 314 attended health services for experience IPV, while 305 were users of medical care. We use a 3 * 2 design with Relationship Status (Courtship, Married and Cohabitation) and sample type (IPV report/ without IVP report). The results demonstrate that women in dating relationships report more conflict related to jealousy compared with women in marriage or cohabitation. Meanwhile, all conflict areas are more reported for women that have experienced violence, with no differences by partner status.

Evaluation in the field of intellectual disability has been related, traditionally, to practices based on measurement, control and punishment, generating a rejection or disinterest by professionals due, among other factors, the absence of a professional profile specifically defined and formed to develop this work and training deficiencies of professional evaluators. This paper aims to identify evaluators’ professional profile and the type of competency that they master and apply in institutions dedicated to people with intellectual disability, and the perception of these actors on the need for continuous training. The study used a qualitative methodology, descriptive, focus on documents analysis (books, articles, legislation, etc.). Documents are selected by theoretical sampling and are analyzed by a theoretical coding process. The results indicate that the figure of evaluator is not fully consolidated during college or vocational education, but requires continuous learning that allows him to upgrade and better understand the complexity of the field of disability where the primary is to ensure, through evaluation, improvement the processes involved in promoting the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities.

This paper offers an approach to recent literature on Family Quality of Life, underlining relevant features for framing and guiding assessment and intervention practices, both for practitioners and organizations for people with intellectual and development disabilities. This work is a part of a larger project that has been developed in a collaborative way by authors and professionals serving families in GORABIDE (Biscay Association Supporting People with Intellectual Disabilities), funded by the Biscay Province Council. Most of this text was analyzed and discussed with GORABIDE’s staff. Some questions we have tried to answer here are: what does scientific literature says about Family Quality of Life’s conceptual framework and dimensions?, what factors do usually influence it?, what are the most frequent models and instruments for assessment and intervention with families?

Professional Development is one of many terms given to the in-service education and training of teachers. In this paper, the authors address the kinds of professional development currently offered in Australia and compare it with the kinds of professional development teachers may require to deal with an era of supercomplexity, where there is uncertainty, insecurity and an unknown and unknowable future. Professional development is seen as involving multiple stakeholders and the influence of governments and other external bodies is also critically examined.

This paper presents a research-action project carried out in 2012/13 in relation to the Early Childhood Education-Centre for Teachers-University Network. This network has been constructed to collaboratively research the Project Approach (hereinafter, PA) in Early Childhood Education classrooms. It is made up of teachers and pupils of Early Childhood Education, an adviser from the Continuing Professional Development Centre for Teachers, university researchers, and undergraduate students. The total number of people involved in the RIECU network is 538. From a qualitative paradigm, this work aims at analysing the learning outcomes achieved by the children through their participation in the RIECU network, based on the opinions expressed by the teachers, the families, the adviser, the researchers, and the undergraduate students. Semi-structured interviews, a focus group, and research journals were used to compile information. The most relevant results were: (1) the children obtain benefits by using the PA as a means of approaching knowledge; and (2) they acquire new attitudes towards knowledge, such as initiative, self-assurance, and responsibility

The phenomenon of working children and adolescents and homeless is fraught with many stigmas and taboos such as vagrancy, drug addiction and crime. The actions taken by the authorities to eradicate that problem have had little impact since its inception on child labor is limited. This paper aims to reflect how working children and adolescents from the city of Xalapa, Veracruz become homeless through the Scaffolding Theory.

One basic assumption of breathe training-based interventions is that respiration’s control provides patients with better emotional and health states. This assumption considers the existence of relationships between respiratory mechanisms, hearth activity and related parasympathetic activity. Therefore, it is common that these interventions are oriented only to control respiratory mechanisms. However, control of respiratory chemistry has equal or even more importance than control the mechanism, because alterations on O2 - CO2 interchange are related with chronic syndromes onset, as well as with development of negative emotional states. In this paper, a review about mechanism and chemistry of respiration is shown with the aim of emphasize necessity to consider the latter as an important element in chronic syndromes’ breathingmodulation treatments. Finally, we offer some recommendations for develop training programs to modulate respiratory chemistry.

In this paper the theoretical basis and general principles, first proposed by Moscovici, and extended by a large number of researchers among them Jodelet, Abric approach to Social Representations (SR) is described, and Doise, and for his contributions the study of the structure or process of SR. The particularity of the SR as thought structures built through contact with others makes them susceptible to being used in the study of various social phenomena as beyond the narrow limits of the strictly psychological processes enabling a more comprehensive view of the reality and specifically the symbolic background that half the positions and behavior of individuals towards objects with which it interacts, so the study from the SR of such a large and growing condition in Mexico as poverty, expand the ways which has been traditionally addressed the phenomenon where economic pathway has been exclusive, be noted that alternative solutions to be successful, should consider the symbolic constructions to the poverty of those who experience.

This paper describes the evolution that has taken the Milan model in the context of the various schools or theoretical-methodological approaches that have emerged in the study and treatment of families in the late sixties and early seventies, approaches that share the foundation of systems theory and cybernetics of Bateson. To understand the features and changes that have been the model should review their estate at the Mental Research Institute (MRI) in Palo Alto, California, where psychoanalytic heritage in the treatment of mental illness was gradually enriched with systemic constructs, changing the way of addressing the patient and the concepts of health and disease during treatment, resulting, over time, the consolidation model as a viable therapeutic alternative.

Meta-analysis can be viewed from different perspectives depending on the lens you have, traditionally and by origin is a method that aims to determine the effect size of a compilation of primary studies, can also be used as a display on a journey particular discipline, or a tool to assess the quality of scientific output. Although meta-analysis has had a widely used on areas of knowledge such as medicine, those devoted to the study of human behavior has been less use. In this paper we describe the characteristics of this type of study, distinguishing it from other methodological approaches such as systematic review and bibliometrics, analyzing the potential benefits using this particular type of study in the behavioral sciences.

The purpose of this study is to argue theoretically why professionals in psychology and adminis­tration are in charge of managing human resources in the organizations. This study, aside from presenting the research being done in HR, has an approach from the beginning of both disciplines, management and psychology, allowing us to see their evolution on the subject of Human Resources. Additionally, this paper also enables us to reason why an organization may choose one or another professional. / The history of the concept in the Colombian context is explored along with the events that hap­pened during this evolution. This monograph hopes to provide HR practitioners with tools so that when selecting one or another professional they do not have inappropriate expectations regarding performance and knowledge. For these reasons and to explore the state of the art of management and psychology we find that these professionals have different tools when making any process in an organization.

O presente artigo se propõe questionar sobre o espaço político aberto pela leitura literária. Especificando a literatura como uma tentativa de compreensão de problemas relacionados à existência, sublinhamos como a leitura literária coloca em questão nossas convicções e verdades defendidas cotidianamente. Para tanto, compreendemos as relações tecidas entre a linguagem, o poder e a resistência no seio da experiência literária. Concluímos que a leitura literária é atravessada por formas de resistência às palavras de ordem que circulam de forma hegemônica em nossa sociedade, disponibilizando assim uma transformação em nossa rede afetiva e cognitiva.This paper analyzes the political space opened by the literary reading. Specifying literature as an attempt of understanding of problems related to the existence, we underline as the literary reading daily places in question our defended certainties and truths. For in such a way, we understand the relations between the language, the power and the resistance in the literary experience. We conclude that the literary reading is crossed by forms of resistance to the words of order that circulate of hegemonic form in our society, disposing a transformation in our affective and cognitive net.
