Quarl. 7, 1957, pp. 68-81) which ends with a well grounded stemma, Ogilvie's book (Oxford, 1965) and Packard´s Concordance (Cambridge, Mass., 1968). For doubtful or debatable passages the stemmatic criteria of Ogilvie should be applied as well as the Linguistic criterion based on the study of the loci paralelli, easy to apply after the new Concordance, The whole work of Livy is an essential linguistic and stylistic unity which accords special authority to the loci paralelli. En el estudio anátomo-patológico de apéndices extirpados profilácticamente o por presentar cuadros clínicos apendiculares, es posible encontrar lesiones de arteritis necrotizante. En 1932, Plaut (13) describió, por primera vez, esta lesión necrotizante del apéndice, a nivel de arterias pequeñas y arteriolas, como una manifestación inespecífica y focal. Desde entonces hasta la actualidad diversos autores han presentado su contribución al respecto, describiendo unas veces a la lesión, con personalidad individual, y en otras, relacionándola con enfermedades vasculares más difusas, especialmente con la panarteritis nodosa. En nuestro medio no se han descrito hasta la fecha hallazgos similares, quizá por no considerárseles de significación para el esclarecimiento del problema de las apendicitis o de las arteritis. Es nuestro propósito en este trabajo, presentar una revisión de los casos por nosotros encontrados, el cuadro clínico presente, sugerente o no de sufrimiento apendicular, y los hallazgos anátomo-patológicos en cada uno de ellos. Este trabajo utiliza un modelo experimental original para averiguar la validez de la hipótesis del factor humoral natriurético. Se inyectan pequeñas dosis de plasma de perro con expansión del VEC a otros perros receptores, directamente en la artereia renal izquierda. Se estudia el fisiologismo del riñón experimental y del contralateral. El propósito de este trabajo es estudiar las posibles alteraciones morfológicas y funcionales del intestino delgado en pacientes sometidos a Antrectomía y Vagotomía por úlcera duodenal. La literatura médica pertinente es escasa y esto nos han llevado a realizar un estudio completo en pacientes internados en el Servicio de Gastroenterología del Hospital Obrero de Lima. Hay estudios acerca de la biopsia intestinal en pacientes ulcerosos que han sido sometidos a diferentes tipos de operación: gastrectomía, vagotomía y piloroplastía, pero ninguno en enfermos con antrectomía y vagotomía troncular. Es Esta circunstancia la que le da originalidad al presente trabajo, a lo que se suma el estudio de Ia capacidad digestiva del paciente y otros datos relacionados con un control alejado post-operatorio. No es nuestra intención juzgar las ventajas y desventajas de determinado tipo de operación; sólo nos hemos concretado a la búsqueda de alteraciones intestinales. Con este objeto se han estudiado 15 pacientes del Hospital Obrero de Lima, contando con el auspicio de la Facultad de Medicina de San Fernando y de la Dirección del Hospital., The purpose of this paper is to study the possible morphological and functional abnormalities of the small intestine in patients undergoing antrectomy and vagotomy for duodenal ulcer. The relevant literature is scarce and this has led us to undertake a comprehensive study in patients admitted to the Gastroenterology Service of the Hospital Obrero de Lima . Studies on intestinal biopsy in ulcer patients who have been subjected to different types of operation : gastrectomy, vagotomy and pyloroplasty , but none in patients with antrectomy and truncal vagotomy . It is this circumstance which gives originality to this work, so the study of Ia digestive capacity of the patient and the other with a remote monitoring post-operative data is added .
