Uvod: Pri prehranskih objektih je z vidika preprečevanja in obvladovanja bolezni ter krepitve zdravja pomembno, da se v njih vzpostavi in izvaja ustrezen higienski režim, ki poleg ustrezno usposobljenih zaposlenih temelji na izpolnjevanju splošnih in posebnih higiensko-tehničnih pogojev za objekt, prostore in opremo. Namen: Namen magistrskega dela je bil pripraviti strokovna izhodišča in priporočila za načrtovanje in izvedbo procesa graditve prehranskega objekta po posameznih fazah in korakih, ki si hierarhično sledijo. Metode dela: Uporabljena metoda v magistrskem delu je bila študija primera, kjer smo na teoretičnem primeru prehranskega objekta predvideli proces njegovega načrtovanja. Izdelava magistrskega dela je potekala v več korakih. Po pregledu strokovne in znanstvene literature ter na podlagi priporočil različnih smernic smo izdelali priporočila za načrtovanje prehranskega objekta. Rezultati: Pri načrtovanju prehranskega objekta je preprečevanje navzkrižnega onesnaženja osnovno načelo. Proces načrtovanja takšnega objekta je timsko delo. Na zahteve glede finalne izvedbe sten, tal in stropov vpliva tudi delovni proces, ki poteka v prostorih prehranskega objekta. Graditev prehranskega objekta v našem primeru zajema tri faze: načrtovanje, gradnja, uporaba in vzdrževanje. Verigo načrtovanja stavb in sistemov predstavljajo investitor, projektant, nadzornik in izvajalec. Proces prenove na izbranem primeru je po oceni vodje potekal v sledečih fazah: načrtovanje, projektiranje, gradnja. Sanitarni inženir je bil na izbranem primeru v največji meri vključen v prvi fazi, tj. načrtovanje. Razprava in zaključek: Eden izmed prvih korakov pri načrtovanju tovrstnega objekta je, da definiramo oziroma določimo namembnost, zmogljivost, logistično izvedbo, velikost prostora in vrsto prehranskega objekta. Sistematično načrtovanje prehranskega objekta z upoštevanjem uporabnosti, funkcionalnosti in namembnosti je pomembno zaradi sprememb v procesu načrtovanja, zagotavljanja zdravja in varnosti uporabnikov ter okolja. Sanitarni inženir se je v fazi načrtovanja na primeru prenove izkazal kot pomemben vezni člen med vsemi vpletenimi akterji. Introduction: In the case of food facilities, it is important that an appropriate hygiene regimen is established and implemented from the point of view of disease prevention, control and health promotion. In addition to properly trained employees, that hygiene regimen depends on meeting general and special hygiene conditions for facilities, space and equipment. Purpose: The purpose of this master's thesis was to prepare expert starting points and recommendations for planning as well as carrying out the construction of a food facility by individual phases and steps, arranged in a hierarchical order. Methods: The method used in the master's thesis was a case study, in which we predicted the planning process of a food facility using a theoretical example. The making of the master's thesis took place in several steps. After consulting professional and scientific literature and taking into account the recommendations from various guidelines, we prepared guidelines for the plan of the food facility. Results: The basic principle to be followed when planning a food facility is the prevention of cross-contamination. The planning process of such a facility requires teamwork. The working process that takes place in the food facility also affects the requirements regarding the final plan of the walls, floors and ceilings. In our case, the construction of the food facility consisted of three stages: planning, construction, use and maintenance. The investor, designer, supervisor and contractor represent the chain that is responsible for the planning and the construction of the facility and its systems. According to the supervisor, the renovation process took place in the following phases: planning, design and construction. In the selected case, the sanitary engineer was mostly involved in the first phase, i.e. planning. Discussion and conclusion: One of the first steps when planning such a facility is determining the purpose, capacity size and type of the food facility as well as the implementation of logistics. Systematic planning, which takes into account the facility’s usability, functionality and purpose, is important because of the possible changes in the planning process as well as for ensuring the health and safety of users and the environment. In the planning phase, the sanitary engineer proved to be an important link between all the parties involved in the renovation process.

V magistrskem diplomskem delu je predstavljena zaščita za dela uporabne umetnosti in industrijskega oblikovanja. Ta dela združujejo elemente estetike in funkcionalnosti ter so lahko predmet zaščite z avtorsko pravico in modelom, medtem ko v praksi zato nemalokrat pride do prekrivanja obeh vrst zaščite. Na splošno sočasna in zaporedna zaščita pripeljeta do prekomerne zaščite, saj pride do podaljševanja zaščite za imetnika pravic enega takega dela. Prav zato pravo intelektualne lastnine igra pomembno vlogo pri regulaciji ustvarjanja kreacij in njihovi uporabi. Pomembno vlogo pri razumevanju pravne zaščite za dela uporabne umetnosti imajo odločitve nacionalnih sodišč in Sodišče EU, ki s svojo sodno prakso na konkretnih primerih podaja razlago glede določb mednarodnih in evropskih pravnih virov ter vzpostavlja enotne standarde z namenom poenotenja tprava EU. V Združenih državah Amerike je uveljavljena doktrina fizične in konceptualne ločljivosti, medtem ko je pri tem estetski element predmeta v primerjavi z novejšo sodno prakso EU (ki zavrača presojo estetike) še posebnega pomena pri presoji, ali je delo lahko zaščiteno z avtorsko pravico kot delo uporabne umetnosti. Cilj magistrskega diplomskega dela je predstaviti razlike med zaščito z avtorsko pravico in pravico modela ter njuno vlogo pri zaščiti del uporabne umetnosti in industrijskega oblikovanja ter učinke prekrivanja take zaščite. Predstavljena je tudi mednarodnopravna, evropska in nacionalna ureditev Slovenije, Nemčije, Portugalske in Združenih držav Amerike za dela uporabne umetnosti. This thesis discusses the subject of protection for works of applied art and industrial design. These works combine elements of aesthetics and functionality and thus can be the subject of copyright and design protection, but in practice there is often an overlap depending on the type of protection acquired. In general, simultaneous and sequential protection leads to excessive protection, as there is an extension of protection for the copyright rightholder of one such work. This is why intellectual property law plays an important role in regulating creation of works and their use. The decisions made by national courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union play important roles in understanding the legal protection for works of applied art. The doctrine of physical and conceptual separation was established in the United States, where the aesthetic element of the subject is of particular importance in assessing whether works can be protected by copyright as a work of applied art, as opposed to recent EU case law which rejects aesthetic judgment when assessing those same types of works. The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the differences between copyright protection and design rights and their role in the protection of works of applied art and industrial design, and the effects of when such protections overlap. International and European laws, as well as the national regulations of Slovenia, Germany, Portugal and the United States for works of applied art are also presented.

Diplomsko delo “Kolekcija oblačil in dodatkov z izhodiščem v uniformah in športu” opisuje proces oblikovanja in realizacije oblačil in modnih dodatkov s poudarkom na funkcionalnosti in udobju. Teoretični del se osredotoča na zgodovino uniform (predvsem vojaških) in športnih oblačil, pomen uniforme v sodobni družbi, zgodovino, filozofijo in delo znamk, ki so ključne za popularizacijo in razvoj športne mode ter funkcionalnih oblačil v svetu. Vojaške uniforme že dolga leta predstavljajo temelje moške mode. Oblačila za šport so se v teku 21. stol. močno integrirala v ready-to-wear modo in prek nje v vsakdanje oprave povprečnega človeka. V nalogi skušam direktno reinterpretirati specializirana športna oblačila, moderne vojaške uniforme in opremo v sodobno kolekcijo ready-to-wear oblačil in dodatkov. Kolekcija se s problematiko onesnaževanja okolja s strani modne industrije sooča z zero-waste izdelavo dodatkov in oblačil izdelanih po “built-to-last” metodi, kar zagotavlja, da ne bodo zavržena zaradi poškodb. Funkcionalni aspekt vsakega kosa doda uporabno vrednost in doseže, da se uporabnik naveže na oblačilo. V praktičnem delu je prikazana inspiracija za kolekcijo in skice posameznih silhuet. V nadaljevanju je vsak kos kolekcije opisan posebej. Predstavljene so posebnosti v kroju, način izdelave, funkcionalni detajli oblačila in materiali. Opisi so podprti s slikovnim materialom, ki pomaga pri razumevanju napisanega sledijo fotografije kolekcije. The bachelor’s thesis “Collection of clothing and accessories based on uniforms and sport” describes the process of designing and creating clothing and fashion accessories with an emphasis on functionality and comfort. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the history of the military uniform and sportswear, the meaning of uniform in modern society and the history, and work of brands which have been instrumental to popularizing and developing sportswear and functional clothing. Military uniforms have long represented the foundations of menswear. In the course of the 21st century, sportswear was heavily integrated into ready-to-wear fashion and through it into the wardrobes of an average person. In this thesis, I am trying to directly reinterpret specialized sportswear and modern military uniforms and gear into a contemporary ready-to-wear collection of clothing and accessories. The collection looks to battle the ever-growing problem of environmental pollution by the fashion industry by using zero-waste pattern cutting for its accessories and making clothing using a “built-to-last” method, which ensures that it will not be discarded due to wear and tear. The functional aspect of each piece adds value and creates a bond between the item and the wearer. The practical part of the thesis displays the research imagery for the collection and sketches of each look. Next, you can read detailed descriptions of every piece, such as patternmaking details, methods of manufacture, materials used, and functional details of the piece, supported by imagery.

11. Spletna orodja za pomoč pri iskanju in izbiri leposlovja

V množici leposlovnih del, ki vsako leto izidejo na knjižnem trgu, lahko izbira knjige predstavlja svojevrsten izziv za bralca. Nastala so številna spletna orodja za pomoč pri iskanju in izbiri leposlovja, ki uporabnikom omogočajo raznovrstne možnosti iskanja in brskanja, bibliografski zapisi pa so obogateni in podpirajo značilnosti orodij spleta 2.0. Namen magistrske naloge je bilo ovrednotiti tri tovrstne sisteme, in sicer mednarodno prepoznavnega Goodreads, slovenskega Dobre knjige in finskega Kirjasampo, ter odgovoriti na vprašanje, v kolikšni meri bralcem omogočajo orientacijo pri izbiri leposlovja, ter na kakšen način sledijo smernicam uporabniške prijaznosti. V teoretičnem delu smo se osredotočili na pregled literature o informacijskem vedenju uporabnikov pri iskanju in izbiri leposlovja ter na koncept uporabniške prijaznosti vmesnikov, kar nam je služilo kot osnova za izoblikovanje kriterijev za vrednotenje. Raziskavo smo izvedli z metodo ekspertne študije in podkrepili z metodo študije person. Rezultati so pokazali, da vsak od sistemov ponuja elemente, ki z vidika funkcionalnosti in uporabniške prijaznosti izstopajo kot dodana vrednost. Podrobno opisani elementi in identificirane prednosti sistemov predstavljajo številne možnosti za implementacijo pozitivnih lastnosti v obstoječe sheme sistemov. Posledično bi nadaljnje raziskave prispevale k sistemom, ki bi uporabnikom omogočali kar najboljšo orientacijo pri izbiri leposlovja, hkrati pa bi bil prijazni za uporabo. The choice of books from the mass of literary works published every year presents a unique challenge for the reader. A number of online tools have been created to help with the search and selection of fiction, which enables users to have a variety of search and browsing options, whilst bibliographic records are enriched supported by the features of Web 2.0 tools. The purpose of this thesis was to evaluate three such systems, namely the internationally recognised Goodreads, the Slovene Good books and the Finnish Kirjasampo, and to answer the question as to the extent in which these enable readers to orientate in their choice of fiction, and in which ways they follow the user-friendly guidelines. In the theoretical part, we focused on a review of the literature on information behaviour of users in the search and selection of fiction and on the concept of the user-friendliness of interfaces, which served as the basis for the development of the criteria for evaluation. The study was carried out using the method of expert study and supported by the personas study method. The results showed that each of the systems offers elements that stand out as added value in terms of functionality and user-friendliness. The elements described in detail and the identified advantages of the systems represent many possibilities for implementing the positive properties in existing systems schemes. Consequently, further research would contribute to systems that would give users the best guidance in choosing fiction, whilst at the same time it would be user-friendly.

Uporaba interneta je v današnjem času že globoko ukoreninjena v naše vsakdanje in poslovno življenje. Število njegovih uporabnikov je iz dneva v dan večje. Na njem njegovi uporabniki iščejo najrazličnejše informacije, zato je z vidika vseh poslovnih subjektov zelo pomembno, da imajo kakovostno oblikovan spletni portal. Ta mora biti uporaben in funkcionalen, saj bo le tako zadovoljil želje in potrebe uporabnika.Temu trendu informacijske tehnologije morajo slediti tudi računovodski servisi. Ali je temu res tako, smo podrobneje raziskali v okviru tega diplomskega seminarja. Že s pripravami na samo analizo in izbiro računovodskih servisov, katerih spletne portale smo želeli analizirati, smo prišli do spoznanja, da je v slovenskem prostoru še vedno veliko število takšnih računovodskih servisov, ki svoje spletne strani, kaj šele portala kot njene nadgradnje, sploh nimajo. Tako v bistvu ne izkoristijo enega od pomembnih orodij oglaševanja svojih storitev. Lahko torej sklepamo, da še vedno veliko računovodskih servisov ne vidi potrebe za takšnem način oglaševanja. Znotraj raziskave nas je naprej zanimalo, kakšni so portali tistih računovodskih servisov, ki svojo dejavnost vendar le predstavljajo na spletu. Podrobneje nas je zanimala njihova funkcionalnost z vidika uporabnika. Na podlagi, po našem mnenju dokaj osnovnih, opredeljenih kriterijev, smo prišli do spoznanja, da je veliko spletnih portalov računovodskih servisov z nizko stopnjo funkcionalnosti. Ne le to, spoznali smo tudi, da njihovih spletnih predstavitev sploh ne moremo opredeliti kot portal, ampak zgolj kot spletno stran. Z vidika opazovanja in analiziranja spletnih strani in portalov računovodskih servisov, lahko rečemo, da ti posvečajo bistveno premalo pozornosti pomembnosti oblikovanja spletnih strani ali portalov. Tekom analize smo namreč našli veliko takšnih spletnih strani in portalov, ki niso vsebovali niti nekaterih osnovnih podatkov o poslovnem subjektu, grafično slabo oblikovane, z neposodobljeno vsebino in podobno. Trženje izdelkov in storitev prek spleta je danes zelo razširjeno, zato se morajo računovodski servisi zavedati, da je ključnega pomena njihova predstavitev na spletu. Spletna stran ali portal družbe je nekakšno ogledalo podjetja. Obiskovalec si lahko s pomočjo spletnega portala ustvari sliko o samem poslovanju. Samo v kolikor bo spletni portal zadovoljil njegova pričakovanja, se bo ta odločil za sodelovanje, kar bi moral biti biti eden ključnih ciljev pri oblikovanju. Računovodskim servisom svetujemo, da strmijo k izboljšavam na tem področju. The use of internet in the modern world is deeply rooted in our everyday and business life. The number of its users is increasing on a daily basis. With its help the users are searching for all kind of information. That is why it is important from the business subject’s point of view to have a well-designed web portal. It has to be useful and functional to satisfy wishes and needs of the users. The accounting firms should also follow this trend of information technology. In this thesis we researched whether this is really the case. With preparation on the analysis and the choice of accounting firms of which web portals we wanted to analyse, we discovered that there are still many accounting firms in Slovenia that do not have or do not upgrade their web portal. This means that they do not utilize one of the important tools of advertising. Thus, we can assume that a lot of accounting firms do not feel the need to advertise in such manner. When we first started the research, we wanted to know what do web portals of accounting firms look like. We were especially interested in their functionality from the user point of view. On the basis of what seems to us as pretty basic criteria, we came to the conclusion that a lot of web portals of accounting firms have low level of functionality. We also learned that their web presentations cannot be defined as portals, but only as web sites. After the observation and analysis of web sites and portals of accounting firms, we can claim that they dedicate to little attention to the importance of web site and portal design. During our research we found a lot of web sites and portals that did not include some of the most basic information about business subject, they were poorly graphically designed with content that was not updated, etc. Marketing of products and services on the internet is very common today, so the accounting firms have to be aware of the importance of the presentation. Web site or portal of firm is like a mirror of the company. The visitor can create certain picture about their business. The key objective of the design should be satisfaction of the visitor. Only then will he/she decide to cooperate with them. Our advice to accounting firms is to strive towards improvements on this area

Kako pomemben prostor v našem domu je kuhinja, se zavemo šele tedaj, ko jo tudi sami uporabljamo. Kmalu ugotovimo, da nam hiter življenjski slog ne dopušča, da bi v kuhinji preživeli cele dneve. Včasih je bila kuhinja družabni prostor za družino, danes pa je zaradi prezaposlenosti nemalokrat tretirana bolj kot 'delavnica'. Zato je dobro, da je le-ta zasnovana premišljeno in funkcionalno. Zmotno je prepričanje, da je v kuhinji pomemben le lep videz in dizajn kuhinjske opreme. Seveda tudi to pripomore k našemu zadovoljstvu, a vloge razporeditve pohištvenih elementov, materiala iz katerega so le-ti izdelani, kvalitete in odpornosti delovnih površin ter izbire ustreznih gospodinjskih aparatov nikakor ne gre zanemariti. Ker kuhinjo velikokrat naslavljamo kot srce našega doma je prav, da nam poleg vseh naštetih dejavnikov nudi tudi toplino in domačnost, saj konec koncev v hitrem ritmu, ki ga živimo ostaja edini prostor, kjer se družina zbere pri pripravi hrane in obedu ob zaključku dneva. Only after we need it and use it we become aware of the importance of the kitchen in our home. We soon find out that the tempo of modern life does not allow us to spend long hours in the kitchen. It used to be the center of our homes and social place for the family to meet. But today, due to overwork, it is often treated merely as a »workshop«. Therefore it is recommended to be planned thoughtfully and functionally. It is wrong to believe that only beautiful appearance and modern design of the kitchen equipment is important . Of course it helps to improve our satisfaction, nevertheless the arrangement of the furniture, material from which it is produced, the quality and durability of the working surfaces should not be ignored. Since the kitchen is often reffered to as the heart of our home it should, beside the above factors, offer us homeliness and warmth, because it remains the only place where the family gathers for the preparation of food and meals at the end of the working day.

Diplomsko delo obravnava merjenje funkcionalnosti električnih proizvodov za pripravo hrane. Na začetku diplomske naloge je predstavljena opredelitev funkcionalnosti, vrste električnih mešalnikov, zgodovina mešalnikov ter energetska učinkovitost. Predstavljen je tudi opis uporabljenih standardov, njihove zahteve, splošni pogoji in definicije različnih preskusnih postopkov. V nadaljevanju sledi še podroben opis izvedenih preskusov, kjer je na začetku predstavljeno kaj vse potrebujemo od merilne opreme, ter sam postopek izvedbe. Temu sledijo še rezultati štirih različnih preskusov, ter sam zaključek kjer ugotovimo ali sta oba mešalnika dosegla predvideno funkcionalnost. The thesis deals with the measurement functionality of electrical products for food preparation. At the beginning of the thesis it is presented a definition of functionality kinds of electric mixers, mixers history and energy efficiency. Presented is also a description of the standard of their requirements, terms and conditions and definitions of various testing procedures. Then followed a detailed description of the tests, at the beginning we presented what we need of measuring equipment and the implementation of the procedure itself. This is followed by the results of four different tests, and his conclusion if they are both of the mixer reached its functionality.

MySQL je najbolj priljubljen odprtokodni sistem za upravljanje z relacijskimi bazami. Z Oraclovim prevzemom podjetja Sun in s tem MySQL so se pojavili dvomi o nadaljnjem razvoju sistema in ohranjanju njegove odprtokodnosti, kar je povzročilo pojav izpeljank sistema MySQL, ki slednjega neposredno nadomeščajo ter so vedno bolj priljubljene. V okviru diplomske naloge smo zato raziskali združljivost, funkcionalnosti in performančne izboljšave najpopularnejše od njih, MariaDB. V prvem delu naloge smo na kratko predstavili MySQL in njegove izpeljanke, v nadaljevanju pa podrobneje opisali zmožnosti MariaDB in jih primerjali z zmožnostmi MySQL. V drugem delu smo predstavili testno okolje, orodje za izvedbo zmogljivostnih testov in teste, s katerimi smo merili performanse obeh SUPB. Dobljene rezultate smo grafično prikazali in analizirali ter ugotovili, da je performančno MySQL novejše različice precej izboljšan, vendar pri večini izvedenih operacij vodi MariaDB, kar je v skladu z navedbami razvijalcev. Prav tako MariaDB ponuja nekaj zelo uporabnih zmožnosti, kakršnih pri MySQL zaenkrat še ni moč najti. MySQL is the most popular open-source relational database management system. Oracle's acquisition of Sun and thereby of MySQL raised doubts about the vision of development, causing the appearance of forks, drop-in replacements of MySQL, which are becoming increasingly popular. In this thesis we therefore explored compatibility, features, and performance enhancements of the most popular fork MariaDB. In the first part we briefly presented MySQL and its forks, then described in more detail MariaDB's features and compare them to MySQL's. In the second part we presented the test environment, the benchmark tool, and the tests that were used to measure both DBMSs' performance. We then visualized and analyzed the benchmark results, concluding that while newer version of MySQL is considerably improved, most operations are carried out faster in MariaDB, which is in compliance with the developers' statements. Furthermore, MariaDB offers several highly useful features that MySQL does not yet include.

Funkcionalizacija tekstilnega materiala stremi k izboljšanju končnih uporabnih lastnosti teh materialov. Uporaba nanotehnologije v proizvodnji tekstilnih materialov temelji na enkapsulaciji nanodelcev oz. nanoproduktov, poznanih kot mikrokapsule. Potencial zeta oz. elektrokinetični potencial je eksperimentalno dostopna veličina, ki se nanaša na spremembo potenciala na strižni površini med premikajočim in mirujočim delom difuzne dvojne plasti. Z merjenjem potenciala zeta spremljamo spremembe površinskega naboja. Podatki o površinskem naboju nam dajejo informacijo o stanju, kvaliteti in lastnosti površine makroskopskega telesa v polarnem mediju oz. na aktivni površini trdno-tekoče. V raziskovalnem delu smo spremljali vpliv mikrokapsuliranih in apreturnih sredstev bombažnih in poliamidnih (PA 6, 6) vzorcev na potencial zeta (ZP), kot funkcijo pH elektrolita. Ob tem smo opazovali vpliv pralnih ciklov na obstojnost mikrokapsul in apreturnih sredstev z merjenjem potenciala zeta. V ta namen so ženske nogavice obdelane z različnimi koncentracijami mikrokapsul za navlaženje kože, z dodanim odgovarjajočim vezivom in mehčalcem med procesom barvanja. Obdelane in neobdelane nogavice so oprane ročno s tekočim komercialnim pralnim sredstvom in sicer z 1, 3 in 10-mi cikli pranja. Meritve vzorcev so bile izvedene na merlinem instrumentu SurPASS, proizvajalca Anton Paar GmbH iz Gradca (Avstrija). Rezultati so pokazali, da koncentracija mikrokapsul vpliva na naboj površine in da s povečevanjem koncentracije mikrokapsul z 1% do 8% nanosom postaja naboj površine bolj negativen. Metoda določevanja potenciala zeta na instrumentu SurPASS se je pokazala za enostavno in sprejemljivo pri optimizaciji koncentracije mikrokapsul in ravno tako pri določevanju obstojnosti in spiranja nanosa mikrokapsul.

Izdelovalcev, ki ponujajo široko izbiro inkonitnenčnih plenic, je iz dneva v dan več. Na deklaracijah teh izdelkov skorajda ne najdemo podatkov o njihovoj učinkovitosti pri uporabi, zato se potreba po preučevanju in objektivnem ugotavljanju njihove zmogljivosti pri uporabi usiljuje sama od sebe. Da bi ocenili učinkovitost plenic pri uporab, smo uporabili postopke simulacije praktične uporabe. Pri tem smo uporabili nekaj standardiziranih metod, na podlagi katerih smo tudi zasnovali in izdelali ustrezne aparature. S testiranjem različnih uzorcev plenic smo proučevali upliv surovinske sestave in zgradbe plenic na njihove uporaben lastnosti. Hkrati smo preskusili tudi uporabnost in selektivnost aparatur, izdelanih za testiranje in ocenitev uporabnih lastnosti plenic.
