The new time is a period when organizations and employees are facing radical changes on a daily basis. The Covid pandemic has made the existing situation even more complex, and has posed new challenges to organizations, and their employees. Adapting to the "new normality" requires multispectral changes within the organizational structure, culture, work practices, and lifestyle. It is to be expected that the fear of change is ubiquitous, however, this is one of the situations when the crisis should be seen as a potential chance. The authors made an effort to describe and explain the organizational aspects of change in more detail, all with the aim of promoting current business practices.

The outbreak of the epidemic of the infectious disease Covid-19 has resulted in greater relevance for working outside an employer's premises all around the world. As, until then, this way of organizing work was not so frequent, due to the cautious attitude of employers and employees towards it, the regulation of this issue was not given adequate attention at the domestic and international levels. In this paper, the author will try to answer the question of whether the attitudes of employees and employers towards this manner of organizing work have changed after the emergence of extraordinary epidemiological circumstances and whether, as a result, it will become more frequent in the future. In addition, the author will try to determine whether work outside the employer's premises is adequately regulated in the Republic of Serbia, as well as whether and which issues need to be more comprehensively regulated in light of its increased importance. To obtain answers to the abovementioned questions, the author conducted a survey with employees who, due to the introduction of the state of emergency in the Republic of Serbia, began to work outside the employer's premises. The stated results will be evaluated in light of the results of surveys conducted at the level of the European Union, while the regulations regarding this way of organizing work will be considered via an analysis of laws and by-laws that regulate this issue in the Republic of Serbia.

In the conditions of pandemic Covid 19, there was an expansion of work from home, which includes various forms of informal work that is performed outside of business premises of the employer. Such work includes "reduced" control power of the employer, calls into question the legal subrogation in the employment relationship, and has negative consequences for the realization of the rights of employee (primarily for safety and protection at work and privacy). Therefore, the paper lists the most important international documents of International Labour Organization applicable to work from home. It can be noticed that the modern concept of work from home differs from the former, in a way that it is limited to intellectual jobs or services that are performed in the digital environment. Regulation of work from home in the main Labour Law of the Republic of Serbia is incomplete, while the current Law on Health and Safety at Work does not recognize this form of work, which de lege ferenda requires amendment and harmonization of provisions, all with the aim of ensuring fuller protection of fundamental rights to work and in connection with work, as well as regulating the status of employees

Since the appearance of the first cases of COVID-19 in 2020, the functioning of almost all institutions has been stopped and re-established after a while with great precautions. Due to COVID-19 pandemic-induced restrictions, the provision of interlibrary loan services has become even more important. Accessibility to libraries has been the priority, as well as the engagement of librarians in dealing with their everyday tasks according to the epidemiological situation. This paper presents the results of a short survey conducted from the end of March 2022 to the beginning of April 2022. In addition to the National Library of Serbia, national libraries from Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Republika Srpska, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria were invited to participate. We have all experienced the “coronavirus roller coaster” feeling in the previous months. The same metaphor could be applied to work from home, which took adrenaline or melatonin forms depending on the day and activity. For many of us, this was the first experience of working from home, since Serbian legislation does not recognize this form of work engagement. The first analyzes of work from home i our country have shown that such work has both advantages and disadvantages, just like the one in the workplace. However, some of the librarians had the opportunity to learn from those already experienced in working from home, through international projects and activities. Engagement in Europeana and other international initiatives, as well as in several international projects, have made the difficult period of quarantine and pandemic an opportunity for learning and adaptation.
