Clinical and laboratory study and evaluation of the effectiveness of ultrasonic treatment of the root canal system in combination with photodynamic therapy, in relation to the microflora of root canals in vitro and in the process of complex treatment of patients with inflammatory diseases of dental pulp. In the control subgroups, we conducted instrumental and medicamental processing of root canals. In the comparison group were given the combined treatment with ultrasonic activation of irrigant and further photodynamic treatment. Evaluate the influence of ultrasonic treatment in combination with photoactivatable system disinfection was performed according to the frequency of the diagnosed complications in the treatment of various forms of chronic pulpitis. The structure of the biofilm root canals was studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) using a microscope Quantum 3D (USA). Statistical processing of data in 5 replicates and were processed by parametric statistics for small samples by Manna-Whitney test (p < 0,05). When performing scanning electron microscopy revealed the existence of high level of microbial contamination of areas of the root canal and dentinal tubules. In subgroups, where it was used the standard method of treatment, the percentage of re-treatment and surgical intervention prevails compared to the study group. According to the results of clinical and microbiological studies have observed a positive trend to reduce the number of the designated pathogens and the use of complex interaction of ULTRASOUND and PDT was the most successful method compared to traditional method of treatment

The aim of this study was to conduct clinical and laboratory studies in the process of complex treatment of patients with chronic apical periodontitis and assessing the effectiveness of endodontic technologies of root channels with the use of self-adapting the SAF files, ultrasonic treatment, 3% solution of sodium hypochlorite and 2% chlorhexidine solution. In the process, were selected 77 patients with a diagnosis of chronic apical periodontitis. Then there were formed 3 groups and 6 subgroups. In the control subgroups, we conducted instrumental and medicamental processing of root canals with manual instruments using a 3% solution of sodium hypochlorite and 2% chlorhexidine solution. In the comparison group were given the combined treatment with ultrasonic activation of irrigants (3% sodium hypochlorite, 2% chlorhexidine solution.) and the SAF system with the same irrigation solutions, respectively. Clinical impact evaluation method dresses: women's treatment on the outcome of endodontic treatment was performed according to the frequency of the diagnosed complications a year after treatment of apical periodontitis. The article describes a method of producing a porous material of aluminum powders doped with small additions of barium after treatment with water. Studies of the strength properties, microstructure, specific surface area of the original samples and derived products were performed.

Aim. Study the structure of homogenous microbial communities of Corynebacterium diphtheriae gravis tox+ strains during formation ofbiofilms in vitro. Materials and methods. Object of study - typical and biofilm cultures ofС. diphtheriaеgravis tox+ museum and circulating strains. Intensity of biofilm formation was evaluated by OD on microplate reader at 540 nm wave length studying 120 and 720 hour cultures. S-450 (Hitachi, Japan) scanning electron microscope was used. Results. The peak of exopolysaccharide matrix (EPS) formation, that is formed in the process of biofilm formation, by museum strain takes place at earlier terms of cultivation (120 hours) than circulating (720 hours). An inverse correlation was established during analysis ofbacterial cells of museum and circulating strains of C. diphtheriae during biofilm formation between them and intensity of EPS formation. At maximum EPS content, that took place at various terms of cultivation of the 2 studied strains of diphtheria causative agent, a reduction of corynebacteria cells was observed. Conclusion. Bacterial biofilms of museum and circulating strains of C. diphtheriae and patterns of dynamics of EPS reflect, probably, adaptive abilities of the causative agent, that determine its competitiveness in the fight for adhesion sites, resistance to factors of natural immunity and as a result - prolonged persistence in the organism of bacterial carriers.

Various uteroplacental blood flow disorders, their diagnosis, and correction, especially if the maternal obstetric history is burdened by endocrinopathy, still remain an urgent obstetric problem., Objective: To study blood flow in the vessel-red blood cell segment and to search for changes in both the vessels of the villous tree of the placenta and uterus and the properties of blood corpuscles, by using modern microscopy methods (scanning probe microscopy, atomic force microscopy)., Material and Methods: For macroscopic and microscopic examinations, fragments of the placenta, umbilical cord, and uterus were taken; venous blood samples were collected from patients without endocrinopathy, with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) or type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) prior to delivery. The data were statistically processed using both parametric (Student's t-test) and nonparametric (Fisher's exact test) methods., Results: The authors found that microangiopathy and other metabolic changes in diabetes mellitus could lead to villous stromal sclerosis, the appearance of intermediate villi, changes in blood vessel shape, relief tortuosity, depth, and area, endothelial cell destruction, stasis, and thrombosis. In these endocrinopathies, there were also changes in maternal red blood cells: their polymorphism was observed and geometric parameters and deformability were impaired. In this case, cell shape impairment correlated with the severity of the above described vascular complications., Conclusion: The use of modern microscopy methods makes it possible to diagnose uteroplacental blood flow changes even in early pregnancy and to prevent the progression of uteroplacental blood flow disorders and placental insufficiency.

The purpose of our work was to assess the capabilities of the SEM in the framework of expert studies of gunshot injuries of targets made of cotton fabric. In the study of experimental injuries resulting from shots fired from the KO-M1-98 carbine with 8x57JS cartridges at various distances (from the stop to 3.5 m), the presence of features of the soot morphology was established, by which it is possible to judge the distance of the shot. Thus, by examining fragments of target tissue from the central and peripheral zones of soot deposition, electron microscopy revealed a change in the ratio, intensity, and topography of soot particles. The energy-dispersion analysis revealed that with increasing distance, the number of chemical elements that make up the capsule decreases, with the exception of tin, which has an unstable inversely proportional bond.
