- Abstract
The results of the rapid method for the detection and identification of epidemically related and unrelated causative agents of Salmonella infections. To analyze the chromosomal DNA of these strains, rapid polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used. The analysis of the electrophoregrams of products obtained in rapid PCR revealed that the number of DNA fragments is constant for the cultures of the concrete serovar or phagovar. Using rapid PCR, the detection of S. typhi atypical strains was succeeded.
