Analysis of data on utrastructure of granulocytes of freshwater and marine bony fish of orders Salmoniformes, Cypriniformes, and Perciformes showed that in all studied species there were revealed two types of granulocytes - neutrophils and eosinophils. The exception was the bluefish Pomatomus saltatrix L. whose pronephros hemopoietic tissue was found to contain one type of the granulocytic line - neutrophils. The identification parameters of granular leukocytes are specific granules filling the cytoplasm. The main form of specific granules in neutrophils of bony fish of various phylogenetic groups is an elongated granule with different distribution of fibrils or a granule that has crystalloid formed from fibrils. The main form of eosinophil granules - large, electron-dense, homogenous.

The effect of cold shock on the free amino acid pool of the pondfish P. glehni not adapted to hibernation has been studied. In the beginning of September, after four days of cold shock, a decrease in the blood level of essential amino acids and an increase in the level of alanine and three-fold increase in the level of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) were observed. Changes in the free amino acid pool occur in two stages. Namely, in a considerable decrease in their concentration after two days of cold shock followed by an even more significant increase in their amount after four days of shock. In the brain changes in the free amino acid pools are associated with their total decrease followed by continuous significant decrease in the level of taurine during the first four days of cold shocking. The obtained results are compared with previously obtained data on the free amino acid content in muscles and blood of P. glehni during preparation for winter sleep and the beginning of hibernation.

Haemoglobin of the Black Sea round goby (Neogobius melanostomus P.) resisting to external hypoxia was studied. Haemoglobin of this species was fractionated into 4 components (2 minor and 2 major ones) by the disk-electrophoresis in polyacrylamid gel. The major fractions were eluted and their respiration parameters were investigated. One of them showed high affinity for O2 (P50 5.81 +/- 0.74 mm Hg at pH 8.3) and heightened sensibility to pH (Bohr effect amounted to -0.81 +/- 0.09 at pH of 8.3 --> 7.5) simultaneously. Moreover, an acidosis incubation medium (pH 8.3 --> 7.5) decreased its O2 saturation by 12.8 +/- 1.4% (Root effect). The level of this fraction increased by 41.8% (p < 0.001) under the experimental hypoxia conditions (seawater O2 concentration range was 1.7-1.8 mg 1(-1); exposition--10 days). It affected blood respiration parameters and reflected the process of adaptation of this species to oxygen deficiency. The nucleotidtriphosphate level in red blood cells did not change. Swelling of circulated erythrocytes was observed simultaneously.

The results of analysis in the blood of healthy and ones infected with the plerocercoides Ligula intestinalis Bream Abramis brama L. over index common lipids (CL) and them quality content, peroxidation (POL), peroxide gemoliz erythrocytes (PGE), common antioxidant activity (CAA) are displayed. It is plerocercoids L. intestinalis effects points character lipids exchanges. At ones infected individual comparatively with healthy increase of CL, alteration correlation lipids fraction, intensification POI and PGE as well as a decrease of CAA, that negative effects on vital function of the blood.
