The control of electrical insulation resistance is one of the important parameters characterizing the reliability of the ship's electric power system and the safety of its operation. A significant part of the faults and failures of elements of the shipboard power system is associated with reducing insulation electric resistance relative to the ship hull due to exposure to high humidity and temperature, and also mechanical damage of the insulating layer, electrical cables, wires, electrical machines and devices. The rules of technical operation establish the lowest values of insulation resistance of the elements of the ship's electric power system relative to the hull. At the same time, the presence of highly branched electrical networks on the ship complicates the task of centralized and localized control of insulation resistance. In addition, the increase in the number of power plants, possible change of the number of concurrent consumers in the power system, as well as increasing the share of high-voltage electrical equipment on the ship requires a more reliable control system of electrical insulation resistance. The author concludes that to ensure more reliable monitoring of insulation resistance of ship power system elements it seems relevant to use additionally new principles and methods for controlling the measurement information in the monitoring system and processing it, which differ from those traditionally used in the construction of such systems. For this purpose, as well as to improve the characteristics of the insulation resistance control system of the electric power system, it has been proposed to apply the Queuing theory with the assessment of its parameters. The presence on the vessel of a system of continuous automatic control of insulation resistance is an important component that ensures the reliability and safety of operation of the vessel by its crew.

Изоляторы воздушных линий электропередач играют важную роль в обеспечении транзита электрической энергии к потребителям. Правильный выбор и грамотный подход к диагностике и контроля электрических параметров изоляционных конструкций воздушных линий электропередач это залог эффективной и безаварийной работе сети. В данной статье проанализированы работы зарубежных авторов [1, 2] по методу косвенного измерения длинны пути утечки в изоляторах воздушных линий электропередач, а также разработанного алгоритма по диагностике распределения напряжения и сопротивления гирлянд изоляторов, в средах с высоким уровнем загрязнения атмосферы, для дальнейшего обнаружения неисправных изоляторов. В работе рассмотрены методы диагностики изоляционных конструкций воздушных линий электропередач. Данные методы направлены на обеспечение повышения эффективного использования линий электропередач. Применяя метод оценки состояния изоляции согласно [2], можно на ранних стадиях развития дефекта изоляции предотвратить аварийное отключение линий электропередач. Полученные коллегами их Китая результаты измерений распределения напряжения по длине гирлянды изоляторов, вызывают интерес, поскольку все исследования подобных распределений дают несколько иные результаты. Определить достоверность данных приведённых в статье по ее материалам практически невозможно. По нашему мнению, такие результаты могут быть обусловлены методом измерения распределения напряжения по длине гирлянды изоляторов и сложностью определения момента определения приложенного напряжения. Если принять полученные в статье результаты за истину, то применяя методы диагностики [1, 2] к расчетам потерь энергии в изоляционных конструкциях, можно более точно произвести вычисления токов утечки по поверхности изоляторов в зависимости от степени загрязненности атмосферы и погодных условий при достоверном распределения напряжения и сопротивления изоляции гирлянд изоляторов. Overhead power line insulators play an important role in ensuring the transit of electrical energy to consumers. The right choice and competent approach to the diagnosis and control of the electrical parameters of the insulating structures of overhead power lines is the key to effective and trouble-free operation of the network. In this article analyzes the works of foreign authors [1, 2] by the method of indirectly measuring the creepage distance in insulators of overhead power lines, as well as the developed algorithm for diagnosing the distribution of voltage and resistance of insulator strings in environments with a high level of atmospheric pollution, for further detection of malfunctioning insulators. The paper discusses methods for the diagnosis of insulating structures of overhead power lines. These methods are aimed at ensuring increased effective use of power lines. Using the method of assessing the state of insulation according to [2], it is possible to prevent an emergency shutdown of power lines in the early stages of the development of an insulation defect. The results of measurements of the distribution of voltage along the length of a string of insulators obtained by colleagues in China are of interest, since all studies of such distributions give somewhat different results. It is almost impossible to determine the reliability of the data given in the article on its materials. In our opinion, such results may be due to the method of measuring the voltage distribution along the length of the string of insulators and the difficulty in determining the moment of determining the applied voltage. If we accept the results obtained in the article as true, then applying the diagnostic methods [1, 2] to the calculation of energy losses in insulating structures, we can more accurately calculate the leakage currents on the surface of insulators depending on the degree of pollution of the atmosphere and weather conditions with a reliable voltage distribution and insulation resistance of garlands of insulators.

В данной работе подробно рассмотрен частный случай замера сопротивления изоляции на конкретном объекте, рассмотрены пошагово действия от начала замеров до его окончания. Special attention is paid to safety when working with high-precision equipment and safety in the process of taking readings. The structures of different types of cables are considered in the diagrams. The values and scope of technical, regulatory and regulatory documentation in the projects of electrical networks are studied. Schemes of the work performed are indicated.

The most effective reactive power compensation is at placing the capacitor bank (CB) directly at the points of AM connection. The capacity of the CB and the method of controlling the power factor depend on the AM loading conditions. Under operating conditions ensuring AM reliable start-up after a technological pause is an important task. Reliable motor start-up is possible when the insulation resistance of the stator windings is equal to or above 0.5 megohms. The discharge of the capacitor bank at the moment of the AM disconnection from the network, makes it possible to use the power stored in the CB to diagnose insulation condition and suitability of the AM to a safe start. The speed of the CB discharge is the criterion showing that the AM winding insulation resistance is of critical value. The capacitors discharge simulation made it possible to develop a method to protect the AM and the power cable as well as to formulate an algorithm to identify one-, two-, three- and interphase short circuit when operating, and at the time of the AM disconnection from the network and to define the critical value of the insulation resistance according to the capacitor discharge speed

Представлена работа разных вентильных схем измерения сопротивления изоляции сетей низкого напряжения с изолированной нейтралью. Приведены формулы для вычисления эквивалентного сопротивления изоляции при асимметрии линейных напряжений сети. Предложены способы устранения недостатков этих схем с использованием однофазных выпрямителей. Показаны возможности реализации системы сигнализации о понижении сопротивления изоляции и поиска места замыкания на землю. Библ. 6, рис. 9., Purpose. In the paper there are described few systems of insulation resistance continuous measurement using an imposed DC test signal delivered by diode rectifiers. Drawbacks of this technique are pointed out and ways of these shortcomings removal are proposed. Methodology. An improved version of measuring circuit based on a single-phase diode rectifier is presented. Application of logometric measuring devices is suggested. Results. A new insulation resistance continuous measuring system is insensitive to network voltages variation and asymmetry. Modified circuit enables also implementation of a simple device for alarming the monitored network’s insulation deterioration and/or earth-fault protection. Originality. Formulas describing performance of diode rectifiers under asymmetrical supply have not been available so far. Both innovations (i.e. single-phase diode rectifier and logometric meter) have not been applied widely for implementation of continuous insulation monitoring in live AC IT networks. Practical value. Use of both innovations will allow to eliminate unrequired dependence of measurement results on variable network voltages as well as their possible asymmetry. Exploitation of diode rectifier circuits for earth fault location is also possible. References 6, figures 9.

Представлена методика определения индивидуальных характеристик фазной и поясной бумажно-пропитанной изоляции силовых кабелей среднего напряжения. Методика реализована на применении схемы замещения трехжильного кабеля в общей металлической оболочке и анализе результатов совокупных измерений абсорбционных характеристик. Система линейных алгебраических уравнений для определения характеристик фазной и поясной изоляции является хорошо обусловленной. Решение системы линейных алгебраических уравнений сводится к суммированию результатов совокупных измерений с весовыми коэффициентами 6/14 и -1/14. Приведены результаты определения абсорбционных характеристик фазной и поясной изоляции силового кабеля на напряжение 6 кВ. Introduction. The moral and physical deterioration of medium voltage power cables with phase and zone paper-impregnated insulation requires implementation of quality systems and reliable nondestructive electric diagnostic. Informative indicator of the insulation is the time decay curve of the charging current. It reflects the processes of accumulation of space charges (absorption). The measurements are carried out the 15th since the second direct voltage supply, then – on the 30th and the second on the 60th second. The ratio of the parameters measured in these times gives the dimensionless criteria – absorption coefficients. Three measurements are made at different times, provide a more complete picture of the state of insulation than the measurement of the value of steady leakage (conduction-through), adopted in conventional prevention trials. Purpose. Research and testing methods of diagnostics of power cables with paper-impregnated insulation by absorption and phase characteristics of the belt insulation based on the total measurements. Methodology. A procedure for determining the individual characteristics of phase and zone paper-impregnated insulation based realized on the use of the equivalent circuit of a three core cable in the metal shell and solved of an over determined system of linear algebraic equations by least squares. Results. The proposed method allows determining the absorption characteristics of the individual phase and zone insulation medium voltage power cables in the overall metal shell at a direct voltage. Individual characteristics reflect the characteristics of cables and allow a greater degree to assess the degree of aging of each of the components of paper-impregnated insulation. Originality. Regardless of the cable connection diagrams probing electric field grabs as the phase, and zone insulation. The cumulative nature of the measurement leads to the fact that the differences in the properties of insulation components are smoothed: the aggregate results of the measurements do not differ for the different schemes of the same type. The individual characteristics of isolation, defined on the basis ofthe proposed method are more differences than total, indicating that non-symmetrical modes of operation of the cable. Practical value. The values of individual characteristics power cables 6 kVare 3 times more total, because of what their direct measurement may be a problem. The total resistance of several insulation spaces connected in parallel, behind the individual. Smaller values of insulation resistance are measured more easily, especially on short samples cables.

In the paper, efficiency of a single-phase noncontrolled bridge rectifier with a capacitance filter versus equivalent-to-load-resistance ratio has been specified.
