Статья написана по материалам Международной конференции «Retail Summit», проходившей в Праге в феврале 2010 г. уже в 16 раз. Одним из его организаторов является факультет международных отношений Пражского экономического университета - партнер факультета экономики и управления УрФУ в сфере интернационализации образования. Цель саммита - совместный поиск путей и определение условий эффективного функционирования сектора ритейла в период кризиса и его развития в будущем. Поскольку ритейл охватывает деятельность в сфере обращения, а не только розничных сетей, данная статья будет полезна участникам всех звеньев этого сегмента воспроизводственной цепочки. The article results from the conference 'Retail Summit' which took place for the 16th time in Prague in February, 2010. The faculty of international relations of Prague University of Economics - partner of the faculty of economics and management of Ural Federal University in the sphere of internationalization of education - was one of its organizers. The purpose of the summit is joint definition of conditions of effective functioning of retail sector in the period of crisis and its development in future. The article is useful for all the participant of the reproductive chain segment as the notion of retail encompasses not only retail chains but activity in distribution chain as well.
