The spectral luminescent properties and photolysis of the ionic forms (neutral, cationic and anionic) of bisphenol A have been studied experimentally and by methods of quantum chemistry. Calculations and experiment have shown that, in comparison with a neutral form, no new absorption bands appear in the absorption spectra of ionic form in the range 200–600 nm. The polar solvent (water) shifts the absorption spectrum bands of ionic forms towards low energies. In this case, the shift of the absorption spectrum of the cation is insignificant, and the shift of the anion is significant with an increase in the intensity of the absorption bands. The low quantum yield of fluorescence of ionic form is explained by the prevalence of the efficiency of singlet-triplet conversion over the efficiency of the radiation channel of decay of the fluorescent state. The low quantum yield of fluorescence of the anionic form is due not only to the effective singlet-triplet conversion, but also to the low efficiency of the radiative decay of the fluorescent state of the anion caused by a change in its orbital nature. Calculations have shown that the potential curves of the excited states of bisphenol A and its ionic forms have a significant potential barrier to photolysis. The increase in the efficiency of the process of photodissociation of the bisphenol A anion is caused by a noticeable decrease in the potential barrier and an increase in the overlap of the absorption spectra of the bisphenol A anion and solar radiation.

The results of experimental research of models of antennas hydroacoustic system (HAS), containing transducers of the waveguide type (TWT), which represent a coaxial set of identical water-filled piezocylinders, electrically excited by the principle of a traveling wave formation in the inner cavity of the TWT, are given. Possibilities of the TWT are analyzed when they are excited in accordance with the solution of the synthesis problem for the investigated HAS. The realization of such excitation is carried out by means of software-controlled multichannel blocks and allows providing a close to uniform amplitude-frequency characteristic of radiation and linear phase-frequency characteristic of radiation in a 3-octave frequency band. The possibility of radiation in this band of ultrashort pulses, tunable in frequency, as well as the formation of signals similar to the signals of cetaceans, is shown. The influence of the number of active piezocylinders of the TWT and the character of its electric excitation on the frequency and impulse response of the investigated HAS is considered. Directional properties of models of antennas HAS, including scanning and pulse operation modes, are considered. A comparative evaluation of the calculated and experimental data, as well as an evaluation of the efficiency of the TWT radiation, is given.

На примере сейсмического события, обладающего магнитудой и механизмом глубокофокусного землетрясения у берегов Фиджи 19.08.2018, теоретически исследована связь параметров источника цунами с глубиной землетрясения. Показано, что сильные глубокофокусные землетрясения способны создавать обширные области косейсмических деформаций дна, размер которых сопоставим с баротропным радиусом деформации Россби. Волны цунами, формируемые такими источниками, обладают необычайно большой длиной и поэтому подвержены влиянию силы Кориолиса. Это влияние может варьироваться от существенного в высоких широтах до малозначительного в приэкваториальных районах. Методом численного моделирования исследовано влияние силы Кориолиса на слабые волны цунами, вызванные Фиджийским землетрясением 2018 г., Using the example of a seismic event with the same magnitude and mechanism as for the 2018 Fiji deep-focus earthquake the relationship between the parameters of a tsunami source and the depth of an earthquake was theoretically investigated. It is shown that strong deep-focus earthquakes are capable of creating extensive areas of co-seismic deformations for the ocean bottom, the size of which is comparable to the barotropic Rossby deformation radius. Tsunami waves generated by such sources have an unusually large length, and therefore they are subject to the influence of the Coriolis force. The influence of the Coriolis force on the weak tsunami waves caused by the 2018 Fiji earthquake has been studied by numerical simulation. It was found that for a virtual sea-level station located to the south of the source at latitude of 40S, the amplitude of the leading tsunami wave under the influence of the Coriolis force decreased by ≈ 30%. For virtual stations located at the equator or at latitude of 20S, taking into account the Coriolis force changes the amplitude of the waves by no more than 10%. For stations located in the equatorial zone, the effect of delaying of the manifestation of differences in sea-level fluctuations, calculated with and without Coriolis force, as compared with the entry of the leading tsunami wave was discovered. In this presentation, we wish to provide an overview of the spectral features for the self-adjoint Hamiltonian of the three-dimensional isotropic harmonic oscillator perturbed by either a single attractive delta-interaction centered at the origin or by a pair of identical attractive delta-interactions symmetrically situated with respect to the origin. Given that such Hamiltonians represent the mathematical model for quantum dots with sharply localized impurities, we cannot help having the renowned article by Bruning, Geyler and Lobanov [1] as our key reference. We shall also compare the spectral features of the aforementioned three-dimensional models with those of the self-adjoint Hamiltonian of the harmonic oscillator perturbed by an attractive delta'-interaction in one dimension, fully investigated in [2, 3], given the existence in both models of the remarkable spectral phenomenon called "level crossing". The rigorous definition of the self-adjoint Hamiltonian for the singular double well model will be provided through the explicit formula for its resolvent (Green's function). Furthermore, by studying in detail the equation determining the ground state energy for the double well model, it will be shown that the concept of "positional disorder", introduced in [1] in the case of a quantum dot with a single delta-impurity, can also be extended to the model with the twin impurities in the sense that the greater the distance between the two impurities is, the less localized the ground state will be. Another noteworthy spectral phenomenon will also be determined; for each value of the distance between the two centers below a certain threshold value, there exists a range of values of the strength of the twin point interactions for which the first excited symmetric bound state is more tightly bound than the lowest antisymmetric bound state. Furthermore, it will be shown that, as the distance between the two impurities shrinks to zero, the 3D-Hamiltonian with the singular double well (requiring renormalization to be defined) does not converge to the one with a single delta-interaction centered at the origin having twice the strength, in contrast to its one-dimensional analog for which no renormalization is required. It is worth stressing that this phenomenon has also been recently observed in the case of another model requiring the renormalization of the coupling constant, namely the one-dimensional Salpeter Hamiltonian perturbed by two twin attractive delta-interactions symmetrically situated at the same distance from the origin.

The electronic excited states of BF 2 dipyrromethene (2BrDPM, DPMI, DPMII, PM567 and 4PhDPM) complexes were investigated using the extended multi-configuration quasi-degenerate at the second order of perturbation theory (XMCQDPT2) and the second-order approximate coupled-cluster (CC2) methods. The excitation energies calculated by CC2 are significantly overestimated by 0.42–0.59 eV because of the substantial contributions of double excitation levels to excited states (>10%). However, the calculated XMCQDPT2 excitation energies agree well with experimental ones within the accuracy 0.11–0.20 eV. The very low lasing efficiency (7.8–8.4%) of 4PhDPM compound was explained by the T 1 → T 4 and T 1 → T 5 reabsorptions at XMCQDPT2 level of theory. The molecular photonics of pyrromethenes are studied using a combination of the first-principle and semi-empirical calculations. The main mechanism for the deactivation of the energy of the first singlet excited electronic state is the radiative electronic transition for DPMI, DPMII, PM567 and 4PhDPM compounds. Also, the main mechanism for the quenching of fluorescence in considered complexes (except DPMII compound) is the internal conversion. The processes of the internal conversion and intersystem crossing compete with each other in DPMII compound. The measured and calculated fluorescence quantum yields agree well for all considered molecules.

The donor-acceptor pair in the external periodic electric field is under studying. The molecular system is excited by the short impulse of the polarized light, and the electronic excitation initially localized on the donor and interacts only with full symmetrical vibration of the ligand environments, thus the vibrational subsystem forms the package in the form of the coherent state. Donor and acceptor molecules are assumed as identical type of the molecules. The time dependence of the depolarization of the fluorescence is numerically calculated on the basis of the semi-phenomenological model. Numerical estimates are given for cases of the strong and weak electron-vibrational interaction. Transfer of the excitation in the system is defined by the non-linear properties of the system, especially in the case of strong electron-vibrational interaction. The depolarization of the fluorescence is consequence of the such transport and contains the interference addends which conduct to the quantum beats in the time dependence.
