The article attempts to assess the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI), which has become an important part of the life of modern society, and substantial (essential, most significant for humans as a species) values. The relevance of the study is determined by the widespread use of AI and the discussions it constantly causes. On the basis of interdisciplinary, systemic, value-based, dialectical, cultural-historical approaches using methods of observation, analysis, interpretation and others, it was revealed that substantial values are significantly influenced by the spread of AI, but at the same time do not undergo of significant transformations. A number of values (life, freedom of choice, human identity, subjectivity, the possibility of creativity) do not experience real threats, but in the context of the spread of AI they are beginning to be valued higher. Other values (individuality, collectivism, family values, comfort, pleasure) are developing progressively under the influence of AI. Only one substantial value (security) experiences real threats, but its significance for a person only increases as a result. The conclusion is drawn about the significant, but not transformational, influence of AI on the system of substantial values, and therefore about its correspondence to this system.

The concern of this study is to explore the values of power that form its images in Anglo-Saxon epic culture of the early Middle Ages. The research is based on the epic poem “Beowulf” and applies cultural approach to linguistic study of social phenomena. Considering the stylistic features of the epic genre as a form of world codification, categorization and ideological influence in “the age of prowess and predatory life” (Thorstein Veblen), the authors emphasize the role of alliteration rhythmic patterns of the spoken verse, “words-pictures” (kennings and compounds), sound symbolism in verbal culture of fostering a the martial spirit of warriors in the culture of public praise, encouragement ferocity and enthusiasm for war. Values of power, viewed as collective conceptions of what is good and desirable, shape patterns of behaviour and virtues demonstrations prevalent among people of a superior status. Such patterns in the form of expectations motivate the characters of the poem to perform the actions assigned to them by their social standing. Studying these virtues is an efficient way to capture and characterize society of the early Middle Ages, since they had a direct impact on how that society functioned. To gain entrance to the superior status, the main character had to be gifted with assumed traits. Thus, the key theme of the poem is how he fights his way up to the top of the honourable superior class. The authors analyse the language means of cultural values introduction, including words, denoting the proper qualities and actions, small stories and evaluative utterances of aphoristic nature, falling into different types (statements, open appeals, comparative and superlative constructions, positive and negative imperatives).

The concept of a modern “regional university” is a key point in many discussions about the current hierarchy of higher education. The reforming of the higher education system entailed graduation of universities into federal, research, support and regional ones. Although, in our opinion, it is not quite legitimate to place regional universities in this classification, as well as a research and flagship university, in their main functions, can be regional universities. Considering the degree of interpenetration of two subsystems of a “region” and “university”, the article attempts to comprehensively analyze the mission of a “regional university”. The basis of the research methodology was the dialectical method and the historical approach. In the complex study of a university as a complex system, the main aspects of the synergetic theory were taken into account. Analyzing the sociocultural processes of development of a modern regional university, the authors rely on concepts formed in Philosophy, Cultural studies and Sociology. It’s been concluded that sociocultural changes that occur in the external environment entail synchronous transformations in university education, where an adaptive model is created that allows the university to maintain its traditional uniqueness for all modern challenges.

As a result of the accelerating pace of globalization and the increasing number of armed conflicts, the destruction of monuments and the theft of historical treasures and works of art have increased dramatically. Until recently, Islamic jihadists simply destroyed religious monuments belonging to another religion; today, amid collectors' interest in Mesopotamian antiquities, they sell ancient artefacts and generate income to finance their activities. The US military presence in the Middle East has played no small role in the destruction of ancient heritage. And here the interests of jihadists coincide with the interests of those who see in the destruction of historical treasures the realization of their ideological interests.Today, according to Interpol, the trade in ancient works of art is considered a real threat to international security. It ranks fourth among transnational crimes and third in volume after drug and arms trafficking. What is happening today in the Middle East, Afghanistan and others is the implementation of a project aimed at destroying evidence of the “roots of civilization” and creating a “new history” that corresponds to the interests of the authors of this project.

In modern Uzbekistan, one of the fundamental directions of the internal policy of the republic is the development of new approaches to youth policy. The article problematizes the question of the traditional ideas of the Karakalpak about the age limits of the younger generation, about their preservation and the terms related to the youth, which are present in the Karakalpak language. The purpose of the article is to determine the age limit (based on the restriction), to study on the field material the former and modern terms used in the vocabulary of youth among the Karakalpaks. The article is based on the author’s field materials, collected during ethnographic expeditions in a number of regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, such as Takhtakupyr, Chimbay, Muynak. For example, in the modern colloquial vocabulary of these areas, the following terms are often used: in relation to young men – bala (boy), zhas öspirim (young man), er bala (man), zhas zhigit (young guy), zhigit (guy), uilengen zhigit (married guy), for women – kyzalak (girl), zhas öspirim (younger), boy zhetken қyz (girl), zhas kelinshek (young daughter-in-law). The analysis of the collected materials showed that the traditional terms, which denote youth, were passed down from generation to generation and are present in modern youth vocabulary. However, the identified new words in relation to young people allow us to talk about innovations that have appeared under the influence of globalisation. These terms are used only in the youth environment, not extending to the vocabulary of the older generation.

The formation of the global media space contributes to the active penetration of a different, non-Russian, culture in the domestic media, with one or another broadcast lifestyle having a great impact on the behaviour of young people, shaping, among other things, their oral and written speech through slang. Slang is a rather actively developing lexical layer, new slang units appear in the language every day, they reflect not only cultural values, priorities and aspirations of those who use them, but also demonstrate specific ways of shaping thinking. The study of American slang words and their influence on contemporary Russian youth is especially relevant in the context of information warfare. The authors examine slang words that are reflected in the Russian-language media and social networks, as well as the peculiarities of their influence on the cultural values of adolescents. The materials with slang words, posted from January 2019 to February 2022 in social networks TikTok, VKontakte, on the youth Internet portals QRU, Spletnik, Elle Girl were selected by the method of continuous sampling. The authors reveal their meaning in the context of the analysed publications and come to the conclusion that the active use of such slang units as, for example, crash, cheater, flex, ROFL indicates the priority of idleness in the leisure time of young people. At the same time, teenagers show a lack of interest in cultural leisure: there are no slang expressions for such activities as going to a museum, sightseeing, theatre, concert hall or library.

Abstract: Introduction. The novelty of the research lies in the study of organizational culture in connection with the core values and the organization of personnel activities that is appropriate in the current context of economic development and growth. The model of “competing values” is used, which makes it possible to determine the orientation of organizational culture in two main dimensions, each of which is located between two contrary positions: 1) freedom of activity, dynamism/control, stability; 2) external focus, differentiation/internal focus, integration. Methods. The study involved employees of a regional company engaged in consulting and processing applications, 90 people aged 19 to 51 years. The authors used the following methods: Organizational Culture Analyze Instrument by K. Cameron and R. Quinn; the Value Survey Module by G. Hofstede; personal values acmeological test by A. V. Kaptsov. Multiple regression analysis was used to establish predictors of the types of organizational culture appropriate for the current context of economic development. Results. Based on the analysis results of the actual organizational culture profile in a regional company, a shift in emphasis towards stability, order and control with a predominance of market culture with a slight excess of the hierarchical one has been established. The clan organizational culture was preferred by the company's employees, which is explained by the resistance of social individuals to the declared values of consumer culture and the need for group solidarity and social support. Predictors of market–type organizational culture are cultural values: a long distance of power, individualism, masculinity, enjoyment of life and personal values of the family; adhocratic type – cultural values that actualize subjective control in innovative achievements. Discussion. The conclusion is formulated that despite entering market relations, management in modern regional organizations continues to rely on the principles of control and stability – the basis of the old Soviet period management system with an overwhelming preference for support and care from the leadership.

transformation of the social situation of development ,digital childhood ,cultural values ,intergenerational transmission ,socialisation ,family ,adolescents ,Education - Abstract
Introduction. The problem of the digital divide between different generations and the aggravation of intergenerational relations was one of the most debated in modern science. The key question is how modern social institutions (family, educational system) ensure the socialisation of the child in a new social situation of development, the transfer of cultural experience in the modern digital world. The urgency of the problem is heightened by the fact that in ethnically homogeneous regions of the Russian Federation, the strategies to transfer traditional values and cultural practices of a collectivist orientation to the younger generation are being maintained, contrary to the “model of desired future” with the successful autonomous behaviour of a sovereign person proposed by the new reality.Aim. The current research aims to explore the socio-psychological patterns of the value transmission in modern families from ethnically homogeneous regions. The study involved representatives of the autochthonous peoples of the Kama region (Udmurts, Komi-Permyaks, Tatars, Bashkirs, Russians) of the older generation – mothers (N = 173, average age 41.4), the younger generation – adolescents (N = 218; average age 14.5, 52.8% females).Methodology and research methods. The theoretical and methodological framework of the research is based on the theory of cultural value orientations, which determine the ways to solve basic problems in regulating human activity (S. Schwartz); the concept of ecological systems explaining the processes of value transmission in the interaction of a child with the outside world (U. Bronfenbrenner). To test the theoretical model, the Structural Equation Modelling method was used. To measure cultural values, a questionnaire for diagnosing cultural values constructed by S. Schwartz in the adaptation of V. N. Karandashev was used; to measure mother-to-child relations, the authors used the questionnaire “Child-Parental Relations of Adolescents” by O. A. Karabanova and P. V. Troyanovskaya; the features of intergenerational interaction in the family (mother-to-child) was studied using the questionnaire “Parent’s Interaction with a Child” by I. M. Markovskaya in two versions – for adolescents and mothers.Results. On the territory of the Russian Federation, stable patterns of value transmission based on traditional collectivist orientations, are preserved. Benevolence (kindness) holds its priority in the hierarchy of values and becomes a significant predictor of intergenerational interaction. At the same time, adolescents are transmitted with active patterns of behaviour to expand their opportunities to enter a world of fierce competition with growing uncertainty and high risks. The identified “clashes” in intergenerational interaction are explained by age patterns in the relationship between parents and adolescent children.Scientific novelty. The obtained results indicate a peculiar integration of collectivist values-goals and individualistic values-means among representatives of the autochthonous peoples of Russia. Models of the intergenerational transmission of values of mothers and adolescents have been constructed and explained revealing the patterns of the transfer of cultural experience in multicultural regions of the Russian Federation.Theoretical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of expanding the existing knowledge about the features of the digital generation socialisation in the context of traditional inculturation, about the transformation of the social situation of the development of a growing person in the focus of a new reality and the possibility of interaction between generations of “different worlds”.Practical significance of the acquired knowledge is revealed in the possibility of using it for constructing modern concepts of education and development of psychological and pedagogical technologies for socialising a growing person in the context of epoch-making trends.

The article considers complex semiophore analysis of Soviet and British candy wrappers representing social and cultural development of Soviet and British society in a certain period of time. Examination of non-trivial research material, definition of the term semiophore and the development of a complex method of semiophore analysis make the presented research relevant. Semiophores are indicated by the authors as derivative multimodal semiotic objects that represent historical, political and cultural identity in different ways. The authors have examined 53 candy wrappers, among which 30 candy wrappers are of a Soviet and 23 ones are of a British origin. All of them were produced in late 20th century. Candy wrappers being semiophores are considered as a complex of associated, functional, pragmatic, logical and semantic connections. This causes a necessity to develop a complex methodology of semiophores analysis. As a result, a complex method of semiophore analysis has been elaborated. The method has been applied in research of Soviet and British candy wrappers of the latter half of the twentieth century. The authors have concluded that in most cases the verbal and visual components that form the structure of a candy wrapper correspond to each other and actualize the image presented on it. All images presented on the Soviet wrappers can be thematically divided into various groups, for example, some candy wrappers represent crucial historical events, literary characters, cultural phenomena and architectural objects of Russian cities. In general, the images presented on the Soviet candy wrappers perform an educational function, contribute to the formation of cultural, national, political identity and self-identity of Russians. British candy wrappers are characterized by a simple design and usually present the name and look of the product. At the same time, the name of a product has a clear structure and informs the consumer about the manufacturer and the content of the product. Unlike the Soviet candy wrappers, the British candy wrappers were found to be primarily aimed at providing product information and advertising the product. The authors are eager to apply the developed complex methodology to the analysis of other types of semiophores in their further research.

The research methodology involves the application of analytical, theoretical, sociocultural, conceptual methods and principles of dialectical methodology based on the notions of comprehensive consideration of the subject, logic, and development. In the article, the used theoretical methodology is based on the cultural approach. It makes it possible to distinguish and substantiate the specifics of creative industries in the aspect of cultural reflections. The scientific novelty consists in substantiating the features and perspectives of development of modern cultural studies in synergistic process of creative industries, and is caused by the fact that a full-fledged analysis of the cultural approach to the problem requires clarification of not only theoretical, but also cross-sectoral features of interaction in cultural and creative environment. Conclusions. The results of the study determine perspective vectors of the cultural approach to the definition of creative industries in the system of identifying the coordinates of individual self-realization, the development of cultural values, and transformational processes of cultural and creative space. Socialization of young people is a rather complex process and is very significant for the whole society. The relevance of the study of the problems of socialization of young people in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic is due to the change and transformation of social norms and attitudes among modern youths as a new social reality. The article examines the process of socialization of young people through the prism of generational theories, and also analyzes data on global problems of the world's youngsters that arose during the COVID 19 pandemic and ways to support them. The authors came to the conclusion that, during the period of self-isolation, there was a transformation of the role of the media space in the learning process, as well as the assimilation by young people of traditional cultural values, norms formulated by the older generation. The authors pay special attention to the need to develop a trajectory for the transformation of training courses in the online space, contributing to the implementation of the structure of value transfer within the framework of intergenerational transactions. The results of the study showed that during the pandemic, new mechanisms for the socialization of young people appeared, which require being taken into account when working with this category and implementing measures to control them.

Forensic determination of the worth of various objects involved in legal proceedings is essential for ensuring a fair trial. Determining the worth of mass-produced goods does not usually pose any difficulties. The situation is different for unique cultural values and items that are in particular demand among collectors, history buffs, and others, but are withdrawn from civil circulation for moral reasons. The article analyzes the most significant aspects of the current market of cultural values, considers the methodological foundations of the forensic assessment of the worth of cultural values, mainly works of fine and applied art. The authors substantiate the necessity for a comprehensive forensic examination of cultural values due to the requirement for preliminary identification of the authenticity of items, their author, circumstances, and time of creation. The types of research necessary for this have been identified, such as traceological, documentary, materials analysis, historical, art, and others. The paper shows that forensic assessment of the worth of the items withdrawn from civil circulation based on the data on their worth on the black (illegal) market or on the legal markets of countries where the circulation of such items is not legally prohibited is inadmissible. The prohibition on using information about events that occurred after assessing the worth of cultural property is substantiated.

CULTURAL values , *CULTURAL relations , *HUMAN ecology , *SOCIAL context , *PROBLEM solving , *WORLD culture , *WORLDVIEW - Abstract
The purpose of the Article to identify global features of human development in the day, the Anthropocene, which is characterized by the total impact of man on nature and the world as a whole, and which, in turn, highlights the issue of cultural and value relations, giving points of intersection of human culture and environment, ecosemiotics) that transform the world. The research methodology is based on the application of a systematic approach, analytical method, synthetic, culturological, and axiological, which will allow a comprehensive consideration of these issues and formulate sound conclusions. The scientific novelty is characterized by the fact that for the first time the issue of globality of human development in the Anthropocene from the standpoint of cultural and value dimension, which is part of the systems of natural and social environment, transformed and created by man. This makes it possible to understand the place and role of culture as a global factor in the formation and transformation of values that determine the main directions of the development of human civilization. Conclusions. The study found that the study of the global nature of human development in the Anthropocene, which, going beyond the purely geological and ecological framework of its understanding, raises several human development issues that need to be addressed through an integrated approach, affecting social, cultural, economic, political and other aspects of human existence. The deepening contradictions and problems that have arisen as a result of various human activities and are determined by the impact of mankind on the environment, require the search for new strategies to resolve these contradictions, reconsider the scientific concepts of anthropocentrism, humanism, values, and worldviews. Culture is of great importance as a civilizational phenomenon formed as a result of human activity and which can serve as a factor in solving the problems of the negative consequences of human activity. World analysts argue that it is inevitable to reconsider and rethink the prospects of human existence in a globalized world, which, unfortunately, is moving towards instability and conflict, due to the exacerbation of a number of factors, both economic and political, which can lead to existential risks and even disasters. Therefore, not only the issues of prompt response/intervention in resolving such situations but also taking measures at a more fundamental, value level become relevant on the agenda. CULTURAL values ,SOCIAL conflict ,MILITARY occupation ,SOCIOCULTURAL factors ,POLISH history - Abstract
Wars, revolutions, and social conflicts always influence the cultural values of any state. From the occupied territories, cultural values, including archival documents, pass under the jurisdiction of the state in whose territory they are located. Archival documents of Polish origin were more than once under the jurisdiction of the Soviet Union. In the mid-1950s, the Polish government asked the USSR government to return to Poland documentary materials relating to the history of Poland. This issue was considered, and the government of the USSR allowed the partial transfer of archives to the Polish Republic. The transfer of archival documents was directly connected with Belarus since its western territory at various times was part of the Polish state. From 1955 to 1963, documents relating to the history of Poland were transferred to Poland from the archives of Belarus. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The article raises the question of the cultural landmarks of the heroes of the novel B.L. Pasternak “Doctor Zhivago”. As is known, the plot of the work takes place at the turn of the eras, and for some heroes this becomes an incentive to think about their cultural self-determination. Their actions and behavior model are directly related to the attitude to cultural reality described in the work, and sometimes even aimed at its transformation by practical, revolutionary methods. A certain catalytic role in relation to culture is one of the criteria of a cultural hero. From this point of view, a comparative analysis of the positions of B.L. Pasternak and A.A. Blok in relation to the revolutionary events of 1917, their reflection in “Doctor Zhivago” and in the poem “Twelve” is carried out. The image of Yuri Zhivago is investigated from the point of view of the type of cultural hero - the Ascetic. The characteristic is given to the image of Antipov (Strelnikov) as a representative of the type of cultural hero - Conquistador. It has been established that Zhivago’s ascetic cultural position is based on loyalty to timeless ideals, an idea of the aesthetic potential of the Personality in relation to reality, while Antipov's (Strelnikov) actions are aimed at suppressing the individual human principle and, therefore, are devoid of a genuine creative component that nourishes the culture of mankind.

These people are mostly from Arabic nation and came from the different parts of the country, the language of analysis and the chosen social group contributing to the novelty of the research. The research aims at exploring the level of attitudes and the factors which affected the motivation of these people either towards their ethnic languages or Kurdish (the language of the majority in the region). It is shown that the majority of the displaced people in the region still have a positive attitude towards their ethnic language, are proud of it while having quite normal attitudes towards Kurdish, and believe that it is necessary for communication with other constituents, for getting jobs and conducting business and in order to spread social and cultural values of the Kurdish society. The article presents the study of the motive structure of the “Caucasian text” in the works of the North Caucasian literature of the first half of XIX. The following task is defined: to determine the motives specific for the “Caucasian text” of the North Caucasian literature. During the period of national recovery associated with the Decembrist movement, literature was supplemented by a number of works about the Caucasus, written by talented and educated mountaineersCaucasians, such as Sultan Khan Girey, Sultan Kazy Girey, Adil Girey Keshev, Costa Khetagurov, etc. There was a whole literary tradition, which not only poetized the Caucasian world, but also tried to study it ethnographically. The relevance of the article is also connected with the fact that the Caucasian motifs are easily read both in the works of authors writing in Russian, for whom this region is a historical homeland, and Russian writers, gravitating in their own artistic preferences to a variety of trends and stylistic principles - from romantic to postmodern. For some of them, interest in the motives of the Caucasus is determinative for all the creative work. The scientific novelty of the article is that the author for the first time made an attempt to consider the motives typical for the works of Russian and North Caucasian literature about the Caucasus in the context of dialogue of the cultures.

The article is devoted to analyzing the concept of HOME as cross-perceived by Russians and Englishmen. A linguistic analysis, phenomenological synthesis and complex description add to the integrity of the phenomenon in question. The author maintains that issues treated by linguists, culture specialists and narrow experts should be regarded jointly. Ordinary consciousness of both Russians and Englishmen abounds in mythologems and stereotypes. So, English people tend to consider that Russian towns team with wild bears, rambling haphazardly; or the locals have money to burn. Conversely, the Russian folk are of the opinion that England is somewhat a fairy domain under the control of charming princes. The conducted research contributes to a greater awareness of the current reality and the importance of the autochthonous and non-autochthonous phenomenon representations. The object of the study is the Russian and English living space of an average citizen or a rural man, most often it is a house, cottage or apartment. The subject is the way of perceiving “home” by the residents of Russia and England. The contrasting analysis of proverbs induces the premise that Russian mental image is bigger and incorporates additional connotations “domesticity” and “regular housekeeping”. While comparing the physical parameters of the Russian and English homes, sets of features for indigenous and non-aboriginal images have been established, as well as popular materials, dimensions, and design. The data are presented in tables. The article reveals that Russian and English people share warm attitude towards their homes, delicate handling of national traditions, and creating snug and cosy family nests. The unveiled common and specifc features show that Russians and Englishmen see eye to eye on the daily grind, which can promote better understanding between the cultures and contribute to eliminating disagreement on the world arena.

NATIONAL currencies , *SEMIOTICS , *BANK notes , *SOCIOCULTURAL factors - Abstract
The article discusses the design of the new denominations and their comparative analysis with the compositional point of view. Changing the design of the national currency is linked with the victory in the 44- day war in Nagorno- Karabakh. Thematical and compositional analysis of the old and new banknotes is discussed. The method of semiotic analysis is the influence of ethno cultural development on the perception and comprehension of national self- awareness in matters of integration into the world community through the national currency. The hypothesis of the research is that the visualization of the obverse and reverse of banknotes is based on archetypal semiotic symbols. The achieved result is determined by the fact that the perception of the images of the national currency occurs in the context of information culture. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The article examines cultural semantics of lexical units of the English language through the prism of Anna Wierzbicka’s views. The article focuses on the lexical units like whistle-blower, kangaroo ticket, log cabin president, Camelot presidency, redneck, etc., which along with the lexical meaning fixed in the dictionary, are able to generate various cultural meanings. The analysis of lexical units is made in accordance with the concept of the cultural-historical universe by Anna Wierzbicka. The approach to the analysis of lexical units within the framework of this concept stems from the understanding of the lexical unit as a sign of culture. Accordingly, the semantic analysis of lexical units is based on different levels of culture. A variety of subcultures and countercultures are also taken into account (everyday, political, industrial; gender, age, professional; dominant, elitist, mass, folk, marginal). The cultural universe is treated as a sort of intertext, i.e., an open cultural space with mobile boundaries. The analysis takes into account the dynamics of the cultural universe by comparing the data of different historical sections. This procedure of interpreting the meanings makes it possible to reach the core of the culture of the linguistic cultural community, on the one hand, and on the other to reveal its dynamics. The analysis discloses later semantic layers in word semantics that reflect the formation of new values in society. The search for cultural meanings is of undoubted interest for linguists working in the field of lexical semantics, linguoculturology, discourse analysis, since it exposes cultural practices and cultural codes of a certain linguistic and cultural community .

The analysis focuses on Geert Hofstede’s cultural orientations to explain the similarities and differences between both countries. Main research methods are literature review and observation. Results show that educational systems present the main set of cultural values in Bulgaria and Hungary, where the main difference lies in the masculinity/femininity dimension. There is also an acute need of general cross-cultural training for both students and teachers because of the increasing number of foreigners settling in the countries. These results could be used for cross-cultural education practices and research in education studies. The paper presents a key topic in the development of education systems in the Danube region.

NATIVE language , *WEB-based user interfaces , *CULTURAL values , *STANDARD language - Abstract
The material for the development of the Dictionary of the Serbo-Croatian Standard and Vernacular Language was collected across 160 years and is recorded on roughly 5,000,000 lexicographic citation cards. It was manually excerpted from over 4,500 written sources and collected in the field in all pronunciations of the Štokavian dialect. At least 15 new volumes of the dictionary are planned based on these card files. They can also serve as the basis for various phonetic, morphological, and syntactic research, as well as for analysing language development over the past two centuries, dialectal specifics from the time when the collections were created (often the only data on the speech of a region at the time of collection), and etymological studies. Its cultural value is also exceptional, as it includes contributions from many illustrious names in Serbian cultural history - Jovan Jovanović Zmaj, Jovan Skerlić, Radoje Domanović, Isidora Sekulić, Milan Rešetar, etc. This precious, delicate material was scanned from 2016-2018, and in 2017, a web application was developed to efficiently annotate the electronic cards. It was further enhanced based on user needs, enabling (in addition to constricted annotation, where only card headwords were marked) a more detailed annotation including dictionary entry form, homonym tag, attestation and bibliographic reference, abbreviation in the dictionary, and card type (handwritten, typed). This paper will present the web tool and annotation results from the letter P to Š. So far, 12 different annotators have been working on the annotations, 3-5 annotating simultaneously at any moment with varying intensity. Of the 813 sections with 2,010,508 paper slips, 795 sections with 1,934,583 paper slips were processed with constricted annotation, including 201,487 different headwords. Annotation results will offer an estimation of the remaining number of words for the dictionary SASA with headword list. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The author of the article considers the essence of the value-sense sphere of a personality as a result of appropriation of culture by a personality. The value-sense sphere is characterized as an integrative personal formation, the specific features of which are represented by values, value orientations, and personal senses; as a complex formation in which a person, a personality, an individual, consciousness and self-consciousness, the inner world of a personality, the content and strategies of life, self-determination, behavior, actions, creativity are involved. The problem of interaction of the value-sense sphere of a personality and culture is considered by the author in the context of spiritual development and spiritual impoverishment of the individual. The article actualizes the problem of increasing disregard for national cultural values and national art. It is emphasized that the value-sense sphere of a personality is determined by the cultural-historical being of the individual. It is through culture the choice of sense-vital and sense-value orientations, which have an ideal orientation and spiritual and moral content, are made by a personality. It has been determined that the modern information space has a significant influence on the formation of the value-sense sphere of the individual. The value and civilizational realities of the modern world testify to their considerable alienation from everything that is inherent in human beings, culture, art, and from a man himself. The views of home and foreign scientists, philosophers, psychologists and educators on the essence of the interaction of the value-sense sphere of personality and culture have been analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the close relationship between culture and education, which is manifested in the service of a common goal - the improvement of the human personality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Massive migration to the EU, violent challenges in European capitals and internal conflicts raise not only political, but also cultural issues. The values of the European civilization are challenged by the new communication and informational technologies, at the EU level, as well as at the national and individual level. Europe is deeply marked by the globalization phenomenon and its consequences require to be addressed from a new perspective. West European vulnerabilities appear in the foreground and some people try to doubt the fundamental identity marks of the European society. In fact, as far back as the end of the last century, Edgar Morin proposed the dialogic principle to conceive Europe, merely because the dialogic ‘is at the heart of European identity, and not one or another of its elements or moments’. Under the current conditions, the European identity becomes fluid, ever-changing, whilst preserving the ‘hard core’ of values centred on the cultural dimension, characterized by diversity and openness for intercultural dialogue.
