The analysis of domestic and foreign sources of literature showed that the problem of diagnosis and treatment of inhalation injury still remains relevant as 20-30 years ago. It is known that inhalation injury causes both local and systemic disorders. Existing diagnostic methods do not allow the extent of these disorders to be accurately determined. This, in turn, leads to the absence of clear criteria for the severity of inhalation injury and treatment algorithms.

In this article, we consider features of the referral of biological material and assessment of medical and legal chemical researches at emergencies of technogenic character, plane crashes, the fires with the numerous human victims. Practical recommendations on obtaining of biological material for a research on volatile organic compounds, including ethyl alcohol and its metabolites, volatile products of burning, including monoxide of carbon and cyanides are made. Features and the recommended order of conducting judicial and chemical examination at emergencies are designated.

Conditions of a linear relaxation experiment have been analysed for the proteins with "memory", i.e., the proteins whose stationary and equilibrium kinetic parameter values are changing but slowly after external perturbation. It is shown that to measure the equilibrium kinetic characteristics of these molecules one should decrease the degree of the external perturbation till the coincidence of the shape of the relaxation curves between stationary and equilibrium states after switching on and off the perturbation.

The relaxation curves in HbCO solutions to steady 1 and equilibrium 2 states were investigated at different temperatures and photolytic illumination intensities I. It was observed that in case of low I they were of identical shape and had more than one relaxation time. Increase of I leads to changes in the "tails" of curves 1 and in the initial parts of curves 2; the shape of curves 2 becomes simpler. The latter is interpreted as a result of a slow relaxation of the Hb molecules conformation to an equilibrium ligand-free state just after HbCO photodissociation.

The functional properties of total hemoglobin and some of its major fractions obtained by polyacrylamide gel disk-electrophoresis were studied. It was shown that p50 for intact hemoglobin is 1.18, that for fractions 2, 4-6-1.37-1.65 mm Hg. The affinity of fraction 3 for oxygen is significantly higher. In the presence of CO2 (40 mm Hg) p50 is much higher for fractions 4 and 6 as compared with fractions 3 and 5. Fraction 3 reveals the highest resistance to autooxidation; fractions 2 and 5 possess the highest sensitivity. ATP and pyridoxal-5'-phosphate stimulate the autooxidation and decrease the affinity for hemoglobin oxygen of fractions 3 and 4 in a greater degree than of the other fractions (for fraction 3 more than for fraction 4). A similar dependence is observed in case of fractions 5 and 6. The effective constant (ki) of dissociation of heme- and globin bonds for HbCO for fraction 3 is 2.38.10(-3) s-1. For the other fractions this value is considerably lower. The ki value for all fractions is increased with a transition from the carboxy- to methehemoglobin. The level of individual components of the heterogenous system of hemoglobin in the blood of embryos, adult intact rats and in anemic and hypoxic animals is given. The interrelationship of functional and structural properties of the hemoglobin fractions and their role in oxygen supply of tissues under the above-described conditions are discussed.

The graphical method is suggested and treated for obtaining of the binding curves in photodissociation conditions. Some kinetic properties of photolisis of HbCO are discussed in connection with sharp increase of free gase concentration in solution.
