In this study, we investigated two-proton radioactivity using the two-potential approach with a cosh-type potential to calculate the half-lives. The depth parameter V0 = 58.405 MeV and diffuseness a = 0.537 fm in the cosh-type nuclear potential show the lowest standard deviation between the calculated and experimental half-lives. We proposed a linear formula for the formation probability using the linear relationship between log10S2p and A1/3d for the angular momentum state l = 0, 2 and 4. The model achieved the lowest standard deviation (σ = 1.09) using this linear formula compared to previous models and empirical formulas. The proposed formula significantly improved the accuracy of half-life predictions by reducing the standard deviation from 1.73 to 1.09. The predicted half-lives exhibit a hindrance factor in the range of -1.62 to 2.42, which is the lowest compared to earlier theoretical predictions. These results indicate that the proposed linear formation probability formula is suitable for reproducing experimental half-lives. The linear formula for formation probability was generalized for different angular momentum states by conducting least squares fit. We extended the half-life and formation probability predictions to 48 nuclei, and the predicted half-lives are in good agreement with the previous five theoretical models and two empirical formula predictions.

The barrier penetrability, decay constant and decay half-life of 1-n halo nuclei 11Be, 15,17,19C, 22N, 23O, 24,26F, 29,31Ne, 34,37Na, 35,37Mg, and 55Ca; and 2-n halo nuclei 22C, 27,29F, 34Ne, 36Na, and 46P from Z = 127 – 132 parents were calculated within the framework of the Coulomb and proximity potential model by calculating the Q-values using the finite-range droplet model. A comparison between the decay half-lives is made by considering the halo candidates as a normal cluster and as a deformed structure with a rms radius. Neutron shell closure at 190, 196, 198, 200, 204, and 208 are identified from the plot of decay half-lives versus the neutron number of daughter nuclei (NP). The calculation of alpha decay half-life and spontaneous decay half-life showed that the majority of the parent nuclei survive spontaneous fission and decay through alpha emission. The Geiger-Nuttall plots of log10T1/2 versus Q-1/2 and universal plots of log10T1/2 versus -lnP for the emission of all 1-n and 2-n halo nuclei from the parents considered here are linear and show the validity of Geiger - Nuttall law in the case of decay of halo nuclei from superheavy elements.

Rendering a person stateless can have devastating and long-lasting consequences, restricting an individual’s ability to participate in society and severely curtailing their political, civil, economic, or social rights. This article delves into the relationship between the act of rendering a whole population stateless based on factors such as religion, ethnicity, or identity, and the commission of crimes against humanity such as torture, enslavement, and extermination. It is argued that the deliberate and unjust denial of nationality to a large group of people constitutes a crime against humanity of persecution and violates international law. The connection between making a population stateless and the perpetration of crimes against humanity has frequently gone unnoticed. The paper begins with an examination of the nature of statelessness, before moving on to a discussion on how the statelessness arising out of arbitrary deprivation of nationality invariably leads to crimes against humanity. The paper concludes with a suggestion to amend the definition of the crime against humanity of persecution under the Rome Statute to act as a deterrent for future violations. Big data cybersecurity has garnered more attraction in recent years with the development of advanced machine learning and deep learning classifiers. These new classifier algorithms have significantly improved Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). In these classifiers, the performance is positively influenced by high relevant features while less relevant features negatively influence the performance. However, considering all the attributes, especially the high dimensional attributes, increases computational complications. Hence it is essential to diminish the dimensionality of the attributes to improve the classifier performance. To achieve this objective, an efficient dimensionality reduction approach is presented through the development of the Fuzzy Optimized Independent Component Analysis (FOICA) technique. The standard Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is coupled with the fuzzy entropy to transform the high dimension attributes into low dimension attributes and helps in selecting high informative low-dimensional attributes. These selected features are fed to efficient hybrid classifiers namely Hyper-heuristic Support Vector Machines (HH-SVM), Hyper-Heuristic Improved Particle Swarm Optimization based Support Vector Machines (HHIPSO-SVM) and Hyper-Heuristic Firefly Algorithm based Convolutional Neural Networks (HHFA-CNN) to classify the cybersecurity data to identify the intrusions. Experiments are conducted over two cybersecurity datasets and real-time laboratory data whose outcomes specify the supremacy of the suggested IDS model based on FOICA dimensionality reduction.

Pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) — a life-threatening condition that can lead to death at any age. PTE — is not an independent disease, but it is a complication of venous thromboembolism. Conflicting opinions about the possibility of using tissue plasminogen activator (tenekteplase) expressed in the literature. Clinical case of the tenekteplase use in 42 years old woman with acute massive PTE and its results are described. PTE in the case was observed simultaneously with diabetic ketoacidosis. Full resolution of this thrombus according to computer pulmonary angiography was observed in patient hospitalized within 24 hours after symptom onset. This is one of the first cases of effective application of the tenekteplase in patients with massive PTE and diabetic ketoacidosis.

Global mobility has become one of the important and revealing trends in the current international relations and law. Forced migrants’ and refugees’ issues come from the past, but their solution is urgently needed now. This issue acquires particular significance and multidimensionality in the modern context of globalization and the intensification of conflicts in all regions of the world. Other factors, such as natural disasters and economic crises, are also sources of forced mobility. The volumes of forced migration and the flow of refugees have acquired immense proportions and consequences in the current context. The main contribution to the solution of the problem was made by the United Nations Organization and UNHCR, its specialized agency. Key documents were also developed and adopted within and with the support of this structure. Presently there is a robust set of legal instruments for the coordination and advocacy of migration processes, but new approaches are urgently in need because of changing patterns in migrant movements. Moreover, the insufficiency in the definition of persecution, which excludes many categories of contemporary migrants, has only increased the need for the adoption of new Global Compacts within the framework of the UN. Hence, this paper looks into the urgent need for rethinking on theoretical approaches, including conceptual apparatus, legal aspects and some practical approaches to the participation of the entire international community. Henoch-Shönlein purpura (HSP) is an IgA-mediated, autoimmune hypersensitivity vasculitis of childhood that results in a triad of symptoms, including a purpuric rash occurring on lower extremities, abdominal pain or renal involvement, and arthritis. Myocardial infarction (MI) is one of the rare complications of HSP. This report describes a rare presentation of HSP with coronary vasculitis, which led to MI in a 53-year-old man. HSP was diagnosed on the basis of no infection, accelerated ESR (35 mm/h), normal platelet count, positive skin biopsy, proteinuria, and negative results for RF, ANA, ANCA, and anti-dsDNA.
