Разработан численный подход, позволяющий оценить скоростные факторы кристаллизации аморфных систем на основе данных моделирования. На примере модельной кристаллизующейся системы рассчитаны скорость пристегивания мономеров к поверхности кристаллических зародышей и скорость отрывания мономеров от зародыша. Полученные результаты вносят существенный вклад в понимание микроскопических механизмов, посредством которых происходит рост и разрушение кристаллитов. A numerical approach has been developed that makes it possible to estimate the rate factors of crystallization of amorphous systems based on simulation data. Using the crystallizing model system, the monomers attachment and detach-ment rates are calculated. The obtained results make a significant contribution to understanding the microscopic crystallization mechanism. Численно методом конечных элементов исследованы процессы кристаллизации кремния в плоскодонных неподвижных и равномерно вращающихся графитовых цилиндрических тиглях в режимах сопряженного конвективного теплообмена. Процессы кристаллизации кремния изучены при фиксированной скорости опускания тигля в холодную зону и различных скоростях его вращения. Опускание тигля имитировалось перемещением точки излома в распределении температуры на внешней стороне стенок тигля. Точка излома - это граница перехода от нагретого до начальной температуры участка стенки к области с заданным градиентом температуры. Использованы адаптивные сетки на треугольниках, отслеживающие положение фронта кристаллизации на каждом временном шаге. Использован пакет программ собственной разработки., The dependence of both spatial shape and intensity of the convective flow of silicon melt during the growth of a silicon ingot by the Bridgman-Stockbarger method was studied numerically by the finite element method. Stationary and uniformly rotating graphite crucible in conjugate convective heat transfer regines were examined. The simulation was carried out on the basis of dimensionless system of equations for the thermogravitational convection in the Boussinesq approximation using the bipolar approach. In the mixed convection regine, the system of equations was augmented by an equation for the azimuthal velocity. Adaptive grids on triangles were used to track the position of the crystal-melt interface at each time step. The calculations were carried out at a constant rate of lowering the crucible from the hot to the cold zone, equal to 2.81 cm/h, and at a constant temperature gradient equal to 35 K/cm. Lowering the crucible was simulated by moving the inflection point in the temperature distribution on the outside of the crucible walls. The range of angular velocities of crucible rotation from 0 to 10 rpm is considered. It is shown that as the angular velocity of crucible rotation in the axial region increases, both the velocity of the downward flow arising in the regines of thermogravitational convection gradually and the convective heat flux to the crystal-melt interface decrease. As a result, in the range of angular velocities from 2 to 10 rpm, the shape of the crystal-melt interface gradually approaches to the one typical for the thermal conductivity regime. It is shown that at the initial stage of the process at an angular velocity of 10 rpm in the axial region of the cooled crucible bottom, the nucleation of a single crystal is possible., Вычислительные технологии, Выпуск 1 (26) 2021, Pages 21-32

The processes of granulation by crystallization of molten droplets in the flow of a cooling agent (prilling) and on the cooled surfaces of the granulators are widely used in the chemical and allied industries. The process of granulation (crystallization) of melts and qualitative indicators of granular products, their marketability is determined by the transfer phenomena in the phases and by the kinetics of crystallization and enantiotropic polymorphic transformations in the crystalline phase. Quantitatively the latter are given in the form of dependences of the rate of nucleation and growth of centers of transformation. The processes kinetics is usually less studied, but it determines the structure of the formed crystal phase and the maximum rate of the process. Therefore, most attention is focused on its study. The description of the scheme, of developed experimental laboratory facilities for the study of the rates of nucleation and growth of crystallization centers in the polycrystalline front of the growing group of crystals, as is the case when crystallization occurs in devices in real conditions (constrained growth of crystals) and single crystals in a thin layer (unrestricted growth of crystals) is given. The transfer of heat in the measuring cell and the sample and possible errors of experimental results were estimated using the natural scale method.

В работе синтезированы порошки композита гидроксилапатит-желатин из модельного раствора внеклеточной жидкости (СБФ) с содержанием желатина от 1 до 3 масс. %. Установлено, что все образцы, не зависимо от концентрации желатина, однофазны и представляют собой гидроксилапатит. Изучены поверхностные и морфологические характеристики полученных кальций-фосфатных покрытий модифицированных желатином. Установлено, что лучшее осаждение композита на поверхности титановых подложек происходит на протравленных образцах. Показано, что после облучения на установке МИП титановых подложек с покрытием на основе гидроксилапатит-желатин возможен дальнейший рост кристаллов и регенерация поверхности., In this paper, we synthesized hydroxyapatite composite powders from the model-gelatin solution extracellular fluid (SBF) gelatin containing from 1 to 3 wt. %. It is established that all the samples, regardless of the concentration of the gelatin, are single-phase and hydroxyapatite. Studied surface and morphological characteristics of the calcium phosphate-modified gelatin coating. It is found that the best deposition of titanium on the surface of the composite substrate occurs on the etched samples. It is shown that after irradiation at the facility IIP titanium substrates coated by gelatin-hydroxyapatite composite can further crystal growth and regeneration of the surface

Необходимость повышения эффективности функционирования солнечных батарей обусловлена постоянно повышающимися требованиями к солнечной энергетике. Повысить эффективность работы батарей можно с помощью использования более качественных элементов. Работа посвящена решению проблемы по созданию комплекса математических моделей различного уровня сложности для решения научно-технических задач, направленных на повышение качества кремния, выращиваемого методом Бриджмена. Цель исследования: разработка математической модели, позволяющей в реальном масштабе времени с приемлемой точностью прогнозировать течение процесса выращивания кристалла в варьируемых тепловых условиях. Методы исследования. Разработанная модель реализована на базе метода элементарных балансов для принятой расчетной схемы в пакете Matlab. Модель позволяет проводить оценку температурного поля установки, исследовать взаимное влияние тепловых процессов в системе «ростовой контейнер -термическая установка», имитировать тепловые процессы на всех этапах процесса выращивания кристалла, исследовать различные алгоритмы управления тепловой мощностью нагревателей. Результаты. Получены оценки положения изотерм кристаллизации и скорости роста кристалла в условиях вертикального метода Бриджмена с механическим перемещением ростового контейнера. Показано, что изменение температурного поля в контейнере при его перемещении существенно влияет на положение изотермы кристаллизации. При этом скорость роста может достигать области отрицательных значений, при которых происходит подплавление уже выращенного кристалла. Кроме того, фактическое время выращивания кристалла может заметно отличаться от запланированного. Полученные расчетным путем данные следует учитывать при проектировании новых установок и планировании экспериментальных работ по выращиванию кристаллов. The work is devoted to the solution of the problem of developing the complex of mathematical models to solve scientific-technical tasks in the design multizone thermal installations for crystal growing by Bridgman method. The relevance of the research is related to continuously increased requirements to the quality of the growing crystals, for example, for the development of energy-efficient production, renewable energy on the basis of solar battery, created on the basis of mono- and multi-crystalline silicon, in instrumentation as optical and laser components, integrated circuit substrates, soft and hard radiation detectors, in quantum electronics, nonlinear optics, etc. and consequently with the necessity to improve thermal installations and technological processes. The main aim of the study is to develop the mathematical models that allows in real-time mode with acceptable accuracy forecasting a course of crystal growing in variable thermal conditions. The methods used in the study. The developed model is implemented on base of the method of elementary balances adopted for the calculation scheme in Matlab. The model allows evaluating the installation temperature field, exploring the mutual influence of thermal processes in the system «growth container - thermal installation», simulating thermal processes in the installation at all stages of the crystal growing, as well investigating various algorithms of controlling thermal power of heaters. The results. The authors have obtained the estimation of both crystallization isotherm position and crystal growing rate for the vertical Bridgeman technique with mechanical movement of growth container. Basing on these estimations the conclusion was made that a change of the temperature field in the growth container at its mechanical movement results in sufficient influence on crystallization isotherm position. Herewith the growth rate can reach the area of negative values that will lead to partial melting of already grown crystal. Besides, the actual time of crystal growing may differ significantly from the planned one on the base of assumption on constant growth rate. The data obtained by calculations should be taken in consideration both at design of new facilities and planning of experimental works on crystal growing.

Изучены закономерности влияния примесей на эффективность образования, агрегацию и многообразие центров окраски в кристаллах LiF. Показано, что специально вводимые примеси способствуют созданию центров окраски с новыми спектральными характеристиками вследствие радиационного облучения. Установлено, что распределение катионных и анионных примесей, обусловленное особенностями выращивания кристалла, вызывает увеличение эффективности образования радиационных точечных дефектов в десятки и более раз, снижая радиационную стойкость кристаллов., The regularities of impurity effect on the formation efficiency, aggregation and variety of color centers in LiF crystals are studied. It is shown that specially introduced impurities contribute to the formation of the color centers with new spectral characteristics due to radiation exposure. It is found out that distribution of cation and anion impurities determined by the features of crystal growth increases the formation efficiency of radiation point defects in tens and more times by making crystals less radiation-resistant.

The furnace, based on the skull method for obtaining laboratory samples of halide crystals (40 mmin diameter and15 mmhigh) with the melting temperature of900 °C, is considered in the paper. This technological solution allows growing crystals without using expensive platinum crucibles and moving or rotating design elements. The process control system and the thermal unit design are designed for determining and controlling temperature and a thermal gradient for carrying out crystal growth and minimizing the skull layer thickness, preventing the contact of melt with crucible and obviating crystal contamination. Placed in a vacuum vessel and sealed independently, the crucible allows controlling the impurity composition of the output crystal. The grown PbF2 and LiF polycrystals demonstrate the effectiveness of the suggested approach in obtaining small crystals. The prospect of using this approach lies in the possibility of a transition from receiving laboratory samples of crystals to the industrial crystals., Рассматривается лабораторная установка для выращивания галоидных кристаллов диаметром 40 мм высотой 15 мм с температурой плавления до 900°С методом направленной кристаллизации в гарнисаже. На примере кристаллов LiF и PbF2 описана процедура выращивания и показано, что метод является эффективным для выращивания лабораторных кристаллов., Розглядається лабораторна установка для вирощування галоїдних кристалів діаметром 40 мм висотою 15 мм з температурою плавлення до 900°С методом спрямованої кристалізації в гарнісажі. Показана схема системи управління і конструкція теплового вузла. На прикладі кристалів LiF і PbF2 описана процедура вирощування і показано, що метод є ефективним для вирощування лабораторних кристалів.

Thermophysical and kinematic aspects of crystal growth in an unicomponent supercooled melt are considered. The analytical description of the dendrite side-branch fore runners in the finite neighbourhood of the dendrite tip is given. Nontrivial behavior of sharp edges and inflexion points on the planar two-dimensional growth line is established. Extreme properties of entropy production on the crystallization boundary at locally non-equilibrium heat transfer are studied.
