Tasks that were solved in the course of the study: 1. Study of the relevance of the use of steel-reinforced concrete structures in construction; 2. Calculation of steel-reinforced concrete slab according to current regulatory documents; 3. Formation of the calculation model in the SCAD software package; 4. Formation of a similar calculation model in the SCAD software package using reinforced concrete; 5. Analysis of the obtained results; 6. Comparison of the obtained data and formulation of conclusions about the conducted research. In the course of the bachelor's final qualification work, a project of a high-rise business center with a two-level underground parking lot was developed. The building has a square shape in the plan. The facades are glazed with stained glass models. The building has a frame structural system. The load-bearing capacity of the business center building was calculated. Space-planning solutions have been developed. The duration of construction and installation works is calculated using the normative literature, and a calendar schedule for the execution of works in the Microsoft Project program is constructed. The selection of necessary construction machines and mechanisms for the construction process was made. This paper provides recommendations for compliance with fire safety. The estimated documentation for all construction and installation and preparatory work has been developed. A distinctive feature of this work is the comparison of the rationality of the use of steel-reinforced concrete and reinforced concrete slabs in construction. The paper examines the pros and cons of using steel-reinforced concrete in the construction industry.
