The outbreak of the most powerful political crisis since the end of World War II, by secretly deploying Soviet medium-range missiles in Cuba, has taken not only the West, but also Moscow's allies by surprise. The decision to move such missiles into Cuba was kept in full secrecy by the USSR leadership, so the Warsaw Pact allies were surprised by the vehement U.S. reaction and the possibility of WWIII. The leadership of the Romanian Workers' Party (PMR) has learned with astonishment that Romania could find itself involved overnight in a devastating conflict, without even being consulted. The reaction of Gheorghiu-Dej, the Leader of PMR, and his team was vehement and led to unprecedented measures in the direction of widening the freedom of political and diplomatic action in the international arena and to strengthen the national control over the Romanian armed forces. A political and military crisis consumed thousands of kilometers away has produced major and long-term effects in Bucharest, reconfiguring the country's domestic and foreign policy for the next three decades. Lathyrus setifolius is a rare plant, included in the “Red list of superior plants from Romania”, which was previously identified only from one place in Dobrogea, from Tulcea Hills, located at a distance of about 40 km from the newly discovered population. In addition to the description of the species and the general spread in Romania, the article presents the main site characteristics and the cenotic environment in which the plants grow in the Babadag Plateau, near the Enisala Fortress. At the same time, information is presented about the size and conservation status of the population, and at the end, some short recommendations are made regarding the management of the species, in the respective area. the hypotone syndrome from the neonatal period reserves tto the moedern nonatologist and the team which monitor the case a series of surprising situtions because the diversity of symptoms permit many interprettions in the light of the new scientific discoveries. In the same time because of the very high costs of the diagnostic and evaluation methods which the physician can choose he must know in very precise terms the pathology of the newborn and to demonstrate the vision, courage, caution when he ask for investigations for this complex syndrome whic can have many beginnnign from the neonatal form of botulsim to diferent form of neonatal myasthenia going to severe head trauma or severe spinal trauma which can be overseen and often have therapeutic choice with the methods of the emergency medicine. Some interventions are part from the heroic medicine and all the efforts must be done for to offer a better confort for the child and the family with the highest purpose to defend the life. So we offer to the clinical phisician instruments which he can use to evaluate rapidly and efficent the case and to see the pathologies which can appear and whose diagnosis helps to the efforts to have a more reduced involvement in short, middle and long term. Biodiversity conservation is a very current topic an of great importance both at the global and national levels. In this context, at the Crucea Forestry District, from the Suceava Forestry Direction, in parallel with the forest management planning works of 2019, a number of rare plant species (Cypripedium calceolus, Leontopodium alpinum, Taxus baccata, Andryala levitomentosa and Rhinanthus alectolorophus) and types of European habitats of great conservation value (9180* Tilio – Acerion forests of slopes, screes and ravines, 91E0* Alluvial forests with Alnus glutinosa and Fraxinus excelsior (Alno – Padion, Alnion incanae, Salicion albae) and 91Q0 Western Carpathian calcicolous Pinus sylvestris forests) were studied. Also, all the stands were analyzed according to the criteria of classification in the category of quasi-virgin forests. Of the obtained results, the identification for the first time of the Rhinanthus alectolorophus species in the Bistrița Mountains is remarkable. For the protection of plant species, a forest area of 101.06 ha has been passed under special conservation regime. The same was done for the habitat types, for an area of 120.33 ha. In the category of quasi-virgin forests were included 5 forest bodies, with a total area of 1119.36 ha. Finally, proposals are made for defining a new type of Romanian habitat, corresponding to the mountain lime forests and also for their inclusion in the guides used to identify forests of high conservation value. German emigration from Romania was a process conducted over a half of century. As a result, the causes of this process were many and they knew its own dynamics. From the desire to integrate into the "great German nation", specific of the early years of the Second World War, to the desire to accede to a higher standard of living, area motivations of individual experienced a lot of variations. In our opinion, based on the study of archival and oral testimonies, mostly applications for emigration were motivated by a desire to family reunification, in first decade after the Second World War, and by the economic difficulties from Romania, for the 80's. Lysimachia nemorum is a rare plant that is included in “Red book of vascular plans from Romania” (Dihoru & Negrean 2009), in “Red list of superior plants from Romania” (Oltean et al 1994) and listed among “Endangered, vulnerable and rare vascular plants from Romanian’s forests” (Danciu et al 2007). Yellow pimpernel was not mentioned until now, in the specialized literature, in the Bucegi Mountains, although it had been identified and collected many years before. In addition to the species’ description and spread in Romania, the article presents the main site characteristics and the cenotic environment in which the population from Mălăiești Valley grows. At the same time, the size of the identified plant groups and the state of conservation of the population are evaluated. The article addressed the topic of violence against women in Romania. Violence against women is a matter of intense debate over the last two decades, including in Romania. However, there is little research on violence in the ethnic Roma community, specifically intrafamily violence in Roma families. The present article is based on research data collected between 2014-2015 and shows an increased level of violence in these families, as well as a high awareness of need for specialized services and legal instruments to address the problems of domestic violence. The study is a brief radiography on the phenomenon and, although the research data is generous, we cannot consider the study to be representative of the entire Roma population in Romania. Discrimination issues on the labour market are part of everyday life, not just in Romania, but in all economies and labour markets across the world. Significant differences are related to the nature, shape, size and intensity of discrimination, in other words who and how is discriminated against who has the power to be discriminatory and in which way and how much it discriminates. After 1990, during the transition of Romanian economy from a centralized one to a market oriented one, the Romanian society encountered a massive restructuring process of both the productive forces and labour relations. Phenomena such as unemployment, feminization and ethnicization of unemployment which were not inextricably linked to the low level of the redundant competence represented forms of discrimination that significantly marked the labour market in Romania. This article explores some of the phenomena of discrimination in the labour market in Romania, as perceived by some experts. The phenomena are analysed by the interviewed experts in their dynamics after 1990, but underlining what is the impact on the labour market in recent years in Romania. The article is based on analysis and interpretation of seven interviews1 conducted with experts, representatives of institutions and organizations that have direct or indirect connection in their field with the phenomenon of discrimination, intolerance or equal opportunities. The aim was to collect qualitative information relevant about the different dimensions of discrimination: gender, ethnicity, age, discrimination in the workplace, corruption at work and an overview of experts interviewed on these issues. Given the huge interest regarding the various aspects of the Securitate history any presentation of the historiographic sources cannot be complete. In this case, our study must be connected to a much needed analysis of the stage reached by historical research on this topic, taking into consideration the existing premises which can extend and deepen any future research leading to a comprehensive history of the Romanian communism.
