Objectives; Report the experience of using play through the interactive panel as a strategy for adherence to antiretroviral therapy in children living with HIV to assist in care management. Methods: Descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, of the experience report type, using educational material, interactive panel type, for health education, from 2019 to 2023. The experience in applying the technology involved different moments, such as defining the therapeutic plan, knowledge of the target audience, construction of the interactive panel, implementation of the interactive panel. Results: It was identified that some children were resistant to taking medication daily, in an attempt to develop different ways to encourage children and families about the importance of ART, as an initial proposal, it was decided to use play as a health education tool, thus, the construction of the interactive panel took place. In this way, play stimulates the individual's perception of the world and its complexity, in a simplified way, making them more involved in complex issues. Conclusions; The implementation of playful educational strategies, through technology, in health services, can help with adherence to drug treatment, improving care and quality of life for children with HIV. Objective: verify the scientific evidence of health technologies on the Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Humar Immunodeficiency Syndrome for transgender women. Methods: integrative literature review, conducted by the PICo strategy, with searches, in January 2023, in the following databases PubMed, CINAHL, SCOPUS, Web of Science, Embase, PsycINFO and BDENF. All bibliographic survey was organized by Zotero® manager with the help of Rayyan® software. To assess the methodological quality, the Critical Appraisal Skills Program was used. It was also considered the classification of health technologies. Results: six studies made up the final sample, evidencing the predominance of light-hard technologies in the development of tools on HIV/AIDS for trans women, with two studies being considered as light, referring these findings to the importance of technologies focused on knowledge and relationship. Conclusion: the evidence presented denote the significance of educational technologies in health care for trans women, especially in view of the theme of HIV/AIDS. Providing a welcoming environment contributes to behavioral changes that lead to healthy living standards in trans women. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To analyze the temporal trend of incidence and adherence to treatment of syphilis and HIV in pregnant women in the state of Santa Catarina and its macro-regions from 2012 to 2022. Methods: An epidemiological study with an ecological time series design involving pregnant women living in the state of Santa Catarina and its health macro-regions. Secondary data on notifications of syphilis, HIV and adherence to treatment were obtained. Simple linear regression was used to estimate the annual percentage variation and the coefficient of determination was estimated. Results: The data showed a significant increase in the incidence of syphilis in most of the state, and in adherence to treatment. For HIV, there were significant reductions in incidence and adherence to treatment in two macro-regions of the state, while the other five macro-regions did not show statistically significant results. There was no statistically significant correlation between the incidence of syphilis and HIV in the period studied. Conclusion: There was an increase in the incidence of syphilis and in the rate of adherence to treatment in pregnant women throughout the state and macro-regions. A reduction in HIV incidence and adherence to treatment was identified in two macro-regions, with no significant reductions in the other five macro-regions during the period analyzed. Objective: to evaluate the factors associated with vaginal infection in women living with the human immunodeficiency virus. Methods: This is a descriptive-exploratory, cross-sectional study of quantitative approach. The study was carried out at the Specialized Assistance Service/Testing and Reception Center (SAE/CTA). For data collection, a structured questionnaire consisting of three blocks with sociodemographic, clinical, sexual and reproductive questions was used. Results: The study sample consisted of 90 women. The age group over 39 years was the most affected (35.6%); educatior background corresponding to complete primary school was predominant (38.9%). Regarding sexual and reproductive issues after the treatment of women living with HIV, the results showed that 54.4% of women do not habitually use a condom during sexual intercourse. Most women living with HIV do not have vaginal discharge, being 56.62% of the interviewed women, it can also be observed that the presence of pruritus, vaginal irritation and white lumpy discharge (suggestive of candidiasis) was the second highest index, corresponding to 17.8% of the women interviewed. Conclusion: In this sense, it was evident that there are several factors associated with vaginal infections in women living with HIV, such as low income, low education, few or no gynecological consultations and access to health education, these being determining factors in health that they must be work to promote the population's quality of life. HEALTH education , *PUBLIC health - Abstract
The construction of actions for health education about HIV/AIDS in Brazil, is essential for the development of universality in health, the preservation of autonomy, the right to information, integrality, social inclusion and other factors. With them, we should aim at promoting the quality of life of the people who are living with HIV and not only at preventing new infections. Thus, this manuscript aims to present - and provoke - reflections through the content of the virtual platform Deu Positivo, e Agora?, aimed at HIV-positive young people and created by the UNAIDS and UNESCO, about ways to educate in health with regard to seropositivity, considering the quality of life of people living with the virus. Therefore, a bibliographic survey and document analysis were used and tensioned by a discourse analysis. Starting on education dynamics based on dialogues about selfacceptance, the materials available on the platform are important tools that can also be used in different educational environments. The videos bring a lot of reflections about networks for support, marital relationships and information from the legal field, demonstrating that it is possible to experience seropositivity in a productive way. Thus, the website is an effective alternative for health education, because demystifies representations about seropositivity and promotes dialogue. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

HIV infections , *MEDICAL students , *AGE distribution , *ACTIVE listening , *MEDICAL personnel , *HIV prevention - Abstract
The theme of sexuality in old age is full of prejudice, stigmatization and discrimination, coming from the most diverse social sectors. The desexualization of the geriatric population that permeates social ideology greatly contributes to misinformation about safe sexual practices in this age group. From this perspective, the 2019 DATASUS data reflect this scenario by mentioning that around 1059 deaths of individuals belonging to the elderly population were recorded, among the 7773 deaths caused by complications arising from HIV infection. Therefore, in view of these data, it is increasingly necessary to carry out actions aimed at health promotion and education for the elderly. With this objective, based on the experiences of medical students with the elderly in the group “Idosos da Alegria de Viver”, through the application of the Sexuality in the Third Age questionnaire and the distribution of booklets that addressed the main points about the virus HIV and AIDS it was possible to implement these educational actions for this public data. In this way, through dialogue and active listening of the research participants, the students were able to extract that about half of the interviewees expressed not knowing how to proceed with a possible HIV infection and not knowing about pre-exposure prophylaxis to HIV, thus demonstrating the gaps present in the health area. Finally, it is believed that the participation of academics in the research project provided the opportunity to experience the implementation of educational health actions for the target audience by contributing to the improvement of the doctor-patient relationship and more humanized active listening as well as dialogue intergenerational relationship between doctors under construction and their future patients. In this way, it is expected that the now-veiled voices of elderly people will be increasingly heard by everyone, including health professionals, whether during training or after training, because every human being deserves the right to listen. Introduction: Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI), and it is a major risk factor for penile, oropharyngeal and anal cancer. HPV anal infection is common in men-who-have-sex-with-men (MSM), especially in patients living with HIV (MSM-HIV). HPV can also be detected in genitalia and oral tissues. The objective of this cross-sectional study is to analyze the prevalence of HPV genital and oral infection in a HIV-MSM cohort. Methods: This cross-sectional study of HPV infection included 107 HIV-MSM subjects recruited in a HIV follow-up unit of Northwest Spain. HPV-vaccinated subjects were excluded. HPV-DNA was detected with Anyplex™ II HPV28 method. Participants completed a questionnaire on lifestyle and sexual behavior. Results: Median age was 43 years (range 35-54 years); 97 patients received antiretroviral treatment (ART); 81 (75.7%) had undetectable HIV-RNA; median CD4-lymphocyte count was 746 cell/mm3; 70 (65.4%) participants had a previous STI. Genitalia HPV-DNA was detected in n=37 (34.6%) subjects and oral HPV-DNA was detected in 26 (24.3%). In 12 (11.2%) patients, HPV-DNA was detected in both locations. High risk HPV (hrHPV) genotypes were detected in 24 (22.4%) and 15 (14%) patients in genitalia and oral samples respectively. Genitalia HPV-DNA isolation was more common in HIV virologically non-suppressed patients (65.4% vs 24.7%; p

- Abstract
The article shares an experience report of psychological care for people living with HIV/AIDS in the pandemic caused by covid-19, from the Campaign Volunteering for the Americas Covid-19 and HIV/AIDS. The proposal seeks to collaborate with the fabric of theoretical and technical elaborations on clinical listening, especially in its remote form. The virtual psychological care, of short duration, was carried out by 14 volunteer psychologists, the majority referenced by Psychoanalysis. The listening was guided by the assessment of the central anguish based on the symptom-complaint, assessing risks, stressors and supports, based on the notion of an expanded clinic, in articulation with the actions of the campaign related to the lack of medication and the lack of food, with referrals to the health care network. It considered psychic suffering associated with socioeconomic vulnerabilities from the necropolitics device. Emotional suffering was crossed by physical illness, by issues related to covid-19, and by updating feelings experienced with HIV, such as non-acceptance of the diagnosis, fear of death, abandonment, isolation and stigma. In conclusion, psychological listening provided emotional support to people in times of intense psychic suffering. Empathy, affection and solidarity were webs of resistance in times of health crisis.

Included in the health-disease binomial are Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) as a global public health problem. The study aimed to understand the main difficulties that women encountered before contracting HIV and the role of nurses in prevention. Through the use of mixed methods and concomitant triangulation strategies, carried out at the "Specialized Care Service" HIV/AIDS (SCS) in the municipality of São João da Boa Vista. The results obtained allowed us to identify that 98% of the women were not aware of sexually transmitted infections before starting their sexual activities. It is concluded that the solution to this epidemic lies in education, exceptionally in the area of health, where the nurse educator, in any contact with the adolescent, can incorporate the necessary information that was absent in the knowledge of the adolescent, as a way of epidemic prevention and control.
