The main aim of this study is to explore if, and if so, how Rabih Alameddine, Kim Addonizio, and Kellie Wells have managed to sustain, replicate, disregard, or redefine the patriarchal ideology customarily associated to gender issues within the fairy-tale tradition. What is really striking is that, several decades after the revisionist project undertaken by the "Angela Carter generation", these new voices experimenting with the field of fairy tales still feel the need to revisit the same mythemes and fight against the same ideology and values that pervaded twentieth century retellings of fairy tales. The subversive potential of the fairy tale retellings seems to have been surpassed by the powerful agenda of a patriarchal social system, which, despite the social, psychological and political changes, still retains its status quo.

This essay offers a close reading of recent work by Glasgow-based artist Kate Davis to argue that her practice engages iconoclasm in ways importantly modified by her feminist commitments. Often Davis’s source material has significant historical, political or art historical import, as in her works dealing with the Suffragist attack on Velásquez’s Rokeby Venus in 1914. What is at stake in her ‘re-visioning’ of such moments, which often involves labour-intensive drawing as a key method, is a formal commitment to a kind of delicate or caring vandalism, often pursued through labour-intensive drawing (iconoclasm as a means of making images) and a specifically feminist contention with existing hierarchies of value and systems of representation (iconoclasm as contestation). To reckon with these stakes, Jean-Luc Nancy’s account of ‘the pleasure in drawing’ and the feminist concept of the ‘work of love’ are brought into relation with Davis’s work.

The ancient and intense migration of Haitians around the world has helped transform Haiti into a transnational society, deeply connected to various destinations through social networks between migrants and non-migrants. As of 2010, in addition to continuing migration to traditional destinations, Haitians have incorporated South American countries into their migratory space. However, the mobility and border crossing strategies are directly linked to the migration policies adopted by the countries of destination and transit of these migrants, contributing to the reconfiguration of these movements. Therefore, the present study aimed to analyze the relationship between contemporary Haitian migration and the migratory politicals of some of its destinations. For this, the methodology used was based on a bibliographical and documentary revision published in the countries that currently constitute themselves as destinations of this intense mobility. The present article aims to test the hypothesis that the precedents, from the perspective of the theory of democratic procedurality and critical rationalism, must being understood as a procedural legal institute. In this sense, it was found that the precedents cannot match the jurisprudential asylum and the obligatory precedents, which were compared to the cloud and clock scheme studied by Karl Popper, since both systems have weaknesses and aporias. The methodological procedure used was the legal-theoretical, since the notions of critical rationalism, precedents and democratic procedurality were critically analyzed. It was possible to demonstrate that, in the Democratic Rule of Law, the construction and application of the precedents must take place in a dialogic-argumentative procedural space based on the constitutional principles of the process, in order to conclude that the precedents should be subject to revision, interpretation, discussion. and supervision by any of the people. The article was elaborated for four hands, with two well defined tasks for each collaborator. The first is the result of a doctoral thesis on the transla- tions of biblical texts. The second, which focuses more on the various Targumim and their relationship to the New Testament, is the result of the "The Targum and the New Testament" Research Project. The main objective of this article is to show the relationship between the Aramaic Paraphrases of the Hebrew Text and the New Testament. Linked to this objective the article intends to show how these translations are the result of a long process of accommodation, revision and censorship, and finally of writing a tradition that has formed throughout history. To accomplish this will be covered the following steps. The first three parts of the article will be devoted to the presentation of the Targumim in its general aspects. This review of the literature, in Brazilian periodicals, and sought to analyze the scientific productions in Professional Guidance (2006-2016) available in the electronic databases PePSIC, SciELO and SPELL. We analyzed 149 articles, based on pre-established criteria. Finally, some of the identified trends and/or gaps were: increased international institutional partnerships; the need for studies that seek to characterize what has been done in other Brazilian regions, beyond those consolidated and the increase of national partnerships. The History of Geography has been receiving considerable contributions that reveal productions and characters of periods previous the university institutionalization of the discipline, which comes from implementation of the University of São Paulo (USP). Our objective in this paper is to contribute with a sketch about the trajectory and technical-scientific production of the engineer-geographer Theodoro Sampaio, author of extensive scientific production and developer of projects and institutions, aspects that we think are fundamental for realization of a renewed reading of Geography, in face of scarcity of productions about its history, particularly in the period before universities in Brazil. For the accomplishment of this paper we carry out a wide bibliographical revision with an aim to the construction of a narrative capable of highlighting the participation of Theodoro Sampaio in this history. In view of this, we consider necessary revisions about his productions, observing their importance for the collection of information about territory, notably in the process of urban modernization of the cities of São Paulo and Salvador and in the propositions on topics of interest of geographic science. It was done a bibliometric analysis of the multidisciplinary journals of psychology recently incorporated in the Web of Science (WoS) in 2008 and 2009. A total of 448 "articles" and "revisions" was analyzed, where the nationality of the authors, the index of responsibility and the contents of the works were examined. The results show that Psicologia: Reflexão e Crítica is the journal that has more published articles. There are differences in the diversity and number of collaborating countries, being the journal Universitas Psychologica the one that has greater representation of authors from different countries from the origin of the journal. There are more individual articles (31.25%), followed by works signed by two (28.57%) and three authors (21.43%), respectively. The majority of articles is classified within the areas of Social Psychology (18.75%), followed by articles of Clinical Psychology (16.74%) and works related to Psychology of Education (11.16%), clarifying that the greater contribution of clinical works comes from the Revista Latinoamericana de Psicopatología Fundamental (with 40.7% of the total of its publications). This study analyses visions of three of the most renowned authors regarding generic strategies, making a comparison among those visions along the time. To perform such comparison, two distinct works of each author were selected and then it is pointed out how changes showed up from one moment to another. The selected authors are Ansoff, Miles et al. and Porter, all responsible for three of the most spread typologies for generic strategies. From a chronological point of view, these typologies have been originally proposed between 1965 and 1980 and revisited between 1985 and 1988. Despite time passed from then until today, these typologies are still fully adequate and completely applicable to organizations' present reality. Contributions of this study reside on detailed presentation of each typology's major characteristics, due to detailed and judicious bibliography revision. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
