LITERATURE reviews , *LIBERTY , *HEGEMONY , *LEXICON , *GESTURE , *READABILITY (Literary style) , *CONTINUITY , *MODAL logic - Abstract
The aim of this text is to offer a literature review around the main aspects that involve the construction of the dissensual scene in Jacques Rancière, showing how the fabulative power of fiction produce any moments that disturb the consensual chains of actions, gestures, existences and experiences. Firstly, it is provided evidence on how the method of the scene is defined by Rancière as the elaboration of a web or assembly of a complex plot around a singularity, through an operation of dismantling hegemonic and asymmetric legibilities. In a second step, it is argued that this montage operation involves the construction of a writing and a singular lexicon, articulated around the intersection and coexistence between the “random moment” and the “measureless moment”, which are temporalities that Rancière uses to name political emancipation. Finally, it is highlighted how fabulation alters the sensitive map of experiences by producing scenes of dissent that function as a machine that interrupts the winners’ time, refuses the causal continuity of narrative organization and reconfigures appearances and their forms of readability. The measureless moment, reappropriated by a non-explanatory writing, works as a basis for the creation of scenes that reconfigure the spaces and times previously destined to the subjects, failing to meet expectations and, thus, altering the landscape of what is thinkable and possible. FUNCTIONAL linguistics , *LINGUISTIC context , *WRITING processes , *SOCIAL interaction , *BASIC education , *ARRANGEMENT (Musical composition) , *READABILITY (Literary style) , *SCHOOL rankings - Abstract
In this study, we adopt a functional perspective, based on the context conceptualisation and on the experiential structure of the transitivity system proposed by Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). According to this perspective, we consider the various contextual spheres that involve the writing process, from the immediate context of situation to the extended context of culture, and the unit of analysis is the process, expressed by the verb, which organises the clause as a configuration of experience. The aim of the study is to verify the change in the experiential configuration of the writing process of students from Portuguese basic education, as revealed by the processes emerging in participants’ discourse during collaborative writing. Transcriptions of group discourse interaction in different school levels (from second to eighth grade) were analysed. The analysis focused on the frequency and relative weight of the distribution of the processes by the different context spheres and by the different types of processes according to the SFL categorisation (material, relational, mental, verbal, behavioural and existential). The results do not show differences between school levels as to the weight of the different types of processes but reveal an increasing weight of the processes associated to the wider context, from which students will draw the content knowledge to be included in the text and the features of the text genre, and also an increasing weight of processes associated to the text genesis. This progression points to the pedagogical potential for strategies aiming to broaden the content and the language under consideration in the writing process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

CORPORATE governance , *AUDITORS , *READABILITY (Literary style) - Abstract
This paper aims to analyze whether the degree of readability of the independent auditor's reports was affected after the changes in the rules for preparing these reports. In view of this objective, 273 independent auditor's reports, published between the years 2015 and 2017, in companies listed in the Brazil 100 Index (IBrX 100) were analyzed. The readability measurement was performed using the Gunning's Fog Index ("fog index"), a program that allows the identification of the degree of complexity of these reports, together with the statistical correlation test. The results showed that, on average, there was a reduction from 48% to 40% in the degree of complexity, both in 2016 and in 2017. The correlation was positive and with moderate magnitude between the variables degree of readability and level of corporate governance. Finally, among the analyzed reports, the one by the company Light S/A was the one with the lowest degree of complexity of all the companies listed in this study, in 2015. In turn, the one by the company B2W Digital was the one that presented the highest degree of complexity in the same year, with a degree of 147%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

MEDICATION errors , *MEDICAL prescriptions , *PATIENT safety , *READABILITY (Literary style) , *QUANTITATIVE research , *CROSS-sectional method ,WRITING - Abstract
Objective: To identify and analyze risk factors related to medication errors present in drug prescriptions. Method: cross-sectional study of quantitative approach performed with medication prescriptions in a medical clinic. Data were collected in a form structured by topics: prescription-related information and patient-related information. Results: 86.35% of prescriptions were handwritten; 49.40% were readable and 43.37% poorly readable; 54.61% of the prescriptions contained the name of the fully readable drug. 99.26% of the records used acronyms and / or abbreviations. Regarding the data of the medication were identified: record of pharmaceutical presentation (90.04%), dose (90.77%), route of administration (96.31%), dilution (83.39%), interval between doses (95.57%) Conclusion: Risk factors related to medication error also refer to the technical quality of the prescription. Unreadable and incomplete data compromise drug administration and, consequently, compliance with patient safety principles. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

FAMILY health , *DEBATE , *DIGITAL libraries , *CHARTS, diagrams, etc. , *PUBLIC interest , *READABILITY (Literary style) , *YOUTH culture - Abstract
In recent years, youths have been configured as a fertile field of discussion, production, and intervention in several areas. At the same time that there is a growing interest in public debates, institutional interventions, and academic investigations, it is observed that there is a field of disputes around this segment. In this context of greater visibility and readability of issues related to this social category in the contemporary scenario, we will seek to analyze how youth has been treated in the productions on Family Health Strategy from a systematic literature review. The review was operationalized through the Virtual Health Library Brazil (VHL Brazil), due to its proposal to gather several databases of the health area, making possible the visibility and comprehensiveness of the researched topics. The purpose of this review was to draw a diagram of the knowledge-power plots around the youths in the fields of health. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
