Abstract

En este artículo, se estudia la resistencia de puesta a tierra en redes urbanas de distribución eléctrica de la ciudad de Copiapó (Chile) por medio de distribuciones de probabilidad, con el objetivo de evaluar el desempeño del diseño de las mallas que actualmente se utiliza en esta ciudad. El estudio está basado en una muestra de cuarenta y tres mediciones de resistencia de puesta a tierra. Se muestran los principales indicadores de estadística descriptiva para las mediciones de campo, se ajustan tres distribuciones de probabilidad a los datos de la muestra y se usan el criterio de información de Akaike (AIC) y el criterio de información Bayesiano (BIC) para elegir la distribución que mejor representa el comportamiento de los datos. Finalmente, usando el modelo seleccionado, se calculan algunas probabilidades para la resistencia de puesta a tierra y se entregan las principales conclusiones del trabajo.In this article, the grounding resistance in urban electrical distribution networks of the Copiapó city is studied. The estimation of mean value is calculated using continuous probability distributions. The aim of this study is to performance assessment of grounding grid design currently used in these networks. Forty-three grounding grids are used as sample. The main indices of descriptive statistics of field measurements are shown. Three continuous probability distribution models are fitted to the sample. For selecting the best model, the Akaike information criterion (AIC) and the Bayesian information criterion (BIC) are used. Finally, using the best model, some probabilities for the grounding resistance are calculated and the main conclusions are presented.

Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta metodologia para o cálculo da resistência de terra, elevação do potencial da malha, potencial na superfície do solo, tensão de toque e da tensão de passo em malhas de aterramento com geometria otimizada em solos estratificados em duas camadas. Os valores do potencial e das tensões de toque e de passo são obtidos em qualquer ponto sobre a malha. O equacionamento proposto utiliza os métodos das imagens, do potencial médio e a principal característica desta modelagem em relação às demais é a possibilidade do cálculo de malhas contendo eletrodos horizontais e verticais posicionados a qualquer distância e em qualquer ângulo. Os resultados obtidos apresentam a redução de aproximadamente 60% no quantitativo de condutores e aproximadamente 30% no quantitativo de hastes verticais em malhas de aterramento elétrico. A otimização da geometria de malha apresentada neste trabalho possibilita a criação de malhas de aterramento elétrico que atendam os critérios de segurança com menor custo se comparada com métodos tradicionais, além de possibilitar redução de efeito indutivo em decorrência de menor quantidade de condutores na malha de aterramento. This work presents a methodology for calculating earth resistance, grid potential elevation, soil surface potential, touch voltage and step voltage in ground grids with optimized geometry in two-layer stratified soils. The values of the potential and touch and step voltages are obtained at any point on the grid. The proposed equation uses the methods of images and an average potential. The main characteristic of this model in relation to the others is the possibility of calculating grounding grids containing horizontal and vertical electrodes positioned at any distance and at any angle. The results obtained with the proposed methodology are presented and discussed. The results show a reduction of approximately 60% in the amount of horizontal conductors and approximately 30% in the amount of vertical rods in electrical grounding grids. The optimization of the grounding grids geometry presented in this work allows the creation of electrical grounding grids that meet the safety criteria with lower cost compared to traditional methods, in addition to allowing the reduction of the inductive effect due to a smaller amount of conductors in the grounding grids.
