- Abstract
This Scoping Review was developed based on the structure proposed by the Joanna Briggs Institute and emerges within the scope of the project: Intercultural Mediators in health units - MeiOS - Intercultural Mediation and Outcomes in Health. The initial question was: How are the experiences of motherhood of migrant women characterized? As objectives of the research it is defined: 'Identify scientific evidence in the theme of the selected question' and 'Understand maternity experiences in migrant women'. In the research, two databases were used for the selection of articles, namely PubMed and ProQuest, in which two articles were selected that contributed to the research question. Based on the evidence researched, it was concluded that migrant women in maternity have diverse experiences that are influenced by health professionals, as such they must acquire cultural skills to provide individualized and humanized care.
