In this regard, when considering the interface between health and environment, it is essential that nursing takes a position in the discussion. Thus, the general objective of this work was to investigate the presence of the environmental theme in professional technical courses in nursing at two Federal Institutions in Amazonas. The study was based on the theoretical approach of Systemic complexity, aiming at a transformation in educational practices towards new knowledge, capable of guiding a sustainable world. It was developed at the Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology of Amazonas Campus S??o Gabriel da Cachoeira -AM, and Federal Institute of Roraima. The research subjects correspond to the students and professors of the Nursing Technician course in the subsequent form. The research is classified, as for the purposes, exploratory and descriptive, the approach of the object involved qualitative techniques. The research result showed the superficiality of the themes in the course's PPC as well as in the teaching plans of the teachers. However, it also demonstrated that students and teachers are aware of the intrinsic relationship that exists between health and the environment and the importance in their education. The data resulted in the elaboration of a protocol that inserts the Environmental Themes in the Professional Technical Training in Nursing. A rela????o entre sa??de e meio ambiente deve ser compreendida de forma interdependente, mut??vel e sist??mica na aten????o prim??ria ?? sa??de. Nessa vertente, quando pensada a interface sa??de e meio ambiente, torna-se imprescind??vel que a enfermagem tome posi????o na discuss??o. Assim, o objetivo geral deste trabalho foi investigar a presen??a da tem??tica ambiental em cursos t??cnicos profissionalizantes em enfermagem em duas Institui????es Federais de ensino do Amazonas. O estudo sustentou-se na abordagem te??rica da complexidade Sist??mica, visando uma transforma????o nas pr??ticas educativas em dire????o ao novo saber, capaz de nortear um mundo sustent??vel. Sendo desenvolvido no Instituto Federal de Educa????o Ci??ncias e Tecnologia do Amazonas Campus S??o Gabriel da Cachoeira-AM, e Instituto Federal de Roraima. Os sujeitos da pesquisa correspondem aos discentes e docentes do curso T??cnico em Enfermagem na forma subsequente. A pesquisa classifica-se, quanto aos fins, explorat??ria e descritiva, a abordagem do objeto envolveu t??cnicas qualitativas. O resultado da pesquisa mostrou a superficialidade das tem??ticas no PPC do curso assim como nos Planos de ensino dos docentes. Porem demonstrou tamb??m que, discentes e docentes s??o conscientes da rela????o intr??nseca que existe entre sa??de e ambiente e a import??ncia em sua forma????o. Os dados resultaram na elabora????o de um protocolo de orienta????o para inser????o das Tem??ticas Ambientais na forma????o T??cnica Profissionalizante em Enfermagem.
