La adolescencia es una etapa de transición que incluye cambios físicos, cognitivos, emocionales, conductuales y sociales, debido a ello, el rol de los padres durante esta etapa es muy complejo, la estabilidad y el equilibrio de estos factores están sujetos al tipo de relación y comunicación que los padres han establecido con sus hijos. Objetivo: describir los efectos de las prácticas de comunicación parental en las conductas internalizantes desde la perspectiva de un grupo de adolescentes pertenecientes a una institución educativa de Medellín (Antioquia). Metodología: se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo con un diseño fenomenológico de alcance descriptivo-comprensivo. El instrumento aplicado fue la entrevista semiestructurada y el grupo focal contó con una muestra de nueve participantes. Resultados: se encontró que los adolescentes que presentaban conductas de depresión como bajos estados de ánimo, tristeza, sentimientos de soledad e inseguridad, desmotivación, baja autoestima y ansiedad, manifestaron poca cercanía con los padres, “cohesión” percibida en la carencia de expresiones afectivas por parte de ellos. Entre los hallazgos se encontró, que los adolescentes que manifestaron experiencias de comunicación parental desde la “inflexibilidad” (imposición de normas con expresiones rígidas, tonos rígidos, amenazas de castigos y comunicación impuesta por los padres), presentaban conductas internas de depresión, ansiedad e inseguridad. Conclusiones: uno de los aspectos que influye en el bienestar y la calidad de vida de los adolescentes son las prácticas de comunicación parental, por lo que se destacó la importancia de la psicoeducación a los padres en relación con estas habilidades y el funcionamiento familiar.

This article discusses a set of both theoretical and practical socio-political problems, on what we call the Basque “ecosocialism-feminism”. It reflects on the link and the alliance among three social movements – unionism, environmentalism and feminism – in the Basque Country (Euskal Herria), making a brief historical review that explains, roughly, the causes and difficulties for the construction of this ideological current, and also their debates and campaigns.

This article offers an analysis of the process of criminalization, which, in the authors’ opinion, the Basque Ecologist Movement (BEM) has suffered in its fight against the High Speed Train (HST). The text is structured in five sections. The initial section highlights the main characteristics of the BEM from its origins to the present, indicating the importance in its development of the Basque national question and political violence on one side, and a combined discourse that is at once local and global on the other. The second section provides data referring to the HST project, indicating its political and socio-economic impacts, while the third section is dedicated to clarifying the main identity features and lines of action of the anti-HST movement. The fourth section shows both the repertory of collective action of the opponents of the HST and the policies of repression and criminalization exercised against them. The fifth and final section is situated in today’s new political cycle, which follows the end of ETA’s armed activity and sets out possible future scenarios. Rather than an academic article consisting of intellectual reflection, this article is intended as a political testimony of the long struggle of this social movement, involving 20 years of ecologist activism, a struggle that continues today, since the infrastructure project is still in force, although the conflict is little known at the international level. Este artículo ofrece un análisis del proceso de criminalización, que, en opinión de los autores, el Movimiento Ecologista Vasco ha sufrido en su lucha contra el Tren de Alta Velocidad (TAV). El texto se estructura en cinco partes. En la primera se destacan las principales características del Movimiento Ecologista Vasco, desde sus orígenes hasta la actualidad, subrayando la importancia en su desarrollo de la cuestión nacional vasca y la violencia política por un lado, y por otro, un discurso combinado local y global a la vez. En el segundo punto se ofrecen datos referentes al proyecto del TAV, indicando sus impactos políticos y socio-económicos, mientras que la tercera parte está dedicada a esclarecer los rasgos de identidad y líneas de acción principales del movimiento anti-TAV. En el cuarto punto se muestran tanto el repertorio de la acción colectiva de los opositores del TAV como las políticas de represión y criminalización ejercida contra ellos. La quinta y última parte se sitúa en el actual nuevo ciclo político, que sigue al final de la actividad armada de ETA y establece posibles escenarios futuros. En lugar de un artículo académico que consiste en la reflexión intelectual, este artículo pretende ser un testimonio político de la larga lucha de este movimiento social, incluyendo 20 años de activismo ecologista, una lucha que continúa en la actualidad, ya que el proyecto de infraestructura se encuentra aún en vigor, aunque el conflicto sea poco conocido a nivel internacional.

This article focuses on the role that metacognition can effectively play in the development of second language listening comprehension, and specifically, how a mobile app can be specified for this end. A social mobile assisted listening app, ANT (Audio News Trainer), is presented as a prototype for exploring the way in which students can be helped to use metacognition to improve relevant linguistic communicative competences. A study has been undertaken with students using ANT to explore the intricate nature of the listening comprehension development process and the main metacognitive strategies that can be successfully applied. Special attention is paid to the implicitly and explicitly applied metacognitive strategies within the app, and related social network, where follow-on activities were undertaken, the strategies in question being: focus (a conscious effort on the gradual development of individual skills), engagement (interest is enhanced when a learning activity is enjoyable/successful), interaction (since collective activities seem to enhance emotional and social involvement), reflection (upon what works and does not work for each individual), self-regulation (through data about the students’ own progress and achievements), and attitude (here a further distinction is made between satisfaction, self-confidence and encouragement). The stages of engagement of a student with the app are explored in relation to the metacognitive strategy used and how they can contribute to the overall success of the learning experience. A final reflection is made about how metacognitive strategies offer an effective way to compensate for the lack of teacher presence, support and guidance on a medium/long term basis. However, although the study of the initial use of this social listening training app shows the potential for incorporating ‘knowing about knowing’ into mobile technology, it is suggested that future research is required to provide further finer-grained insights into this process.

O retardador de crescimento paclobutrazol (PBZ) e o anelamento dos ramos foram aplicados em mudas de tangerineira satsuma 'Owari' sobre porta-enxerto de citrange 'Carrizo', cultivadas em vaso e mantidas em dois ambientes (câmaras de crescimento com temperatura diurna de 15(0)C e noturna de 8(0)C e com temperatura diurna de 26(0)C e noturna de 20(0)C). Houve aumento significativo no florescimento da tangerineira 'Satsuma', devido ao regime de baixas temperaturas (15/8ºC); entretanto, o PBZ não foi efetivo na indução do florescimento da tangerineira 'Satsuma' em ambas as condições de temperatura (15/8ºC e 26/20ºC). O florescimento aumentou quando as plantas foram aneladas, principalmente nas condições de temperaturas baixas (15/8ºC). A aplicação de paclobutrazol e o anelamento induziram variações nas concentrações de carboidratos nas folhas e raízes das plantas; entretanto, não foi possível estabelecer relação de causa-efeito entre florescimento e os níveis de carboidratos na planta.The growth retardant paclobutrazol (PBZ) and stem girdling were applied to satsuma 'Owari' mandarin plants cultivated in pots in a growth chamber under two different environmental conditions: one with temperature at day time set in 15(0)C and night time in 8(0)C, and another with temperature at day time set in 26(0)C and night time in 20 0C. The low temperature (15/8ºC) significantly increased flowering, but PBZ was not effective. The flowering increased when the plants were girdled, mainly in the conditions of low temperatures (15/8ºC). Paclobutrazol and the girdling induced variations in carbohydrates concentrations of leaf and root, however it was not possible to establish a relationship between flowering and carbohydrates level in the plant.
