Art works as an instrument of expression and intervention for promoting health and quality of life, covering the most diverse languages. C. G. Jung, an influential Swiss psychiatrist (analytical psychology), stated in 1920 that art is the purest expression for the demonstration of the unconscious of each one. Therefore, based on the psychological concept of "Art Therapy," the main idea of the ARTErapia Extension Project was to establish a network for carrying out activities that involved creativity in different aspects of art. The multidisciplinary team included professors and researchers that contributed with activities different from those they usually develop, in addition to psychology professionals, artists, photographers, and students, among others, who, in joint, felt the need to collaborate in some way during the isolation period of the pandemic. The activities included traditional and digital arts developed with digital web conferencing tools. The total audience reached by the project was 428 people aged between 18 and 55 years. Half of the participants were university students, and the rest were community members. There were 19 events, including photography, psychology, labor market, drawing; music; woodcut; painting, and ceramics. Greater participation was observed for events about drawing and photography. The events were accomplished, with the participation of the university public, as well as the general public, interested in dialoguing, learning, or improving their knowledge about something new, thus collaborating to provide best mental health conditions and bringing the university closer to the community, in addition to promoting free information and training. FINANCIAL market reaction , *RATE of return on stocks , *ABNORMAL returns , *TELECONFERENCING , *EVIDENCE gaps , *SECURITIES analysts , *CORPORATE profits , *FINANCE - Abstract
This study analyzes the different tones used by the participants in earnings conference calls and the influence on the generation of abnormal stock returns. This study fills the research gap of the segregation of tone analysis by type of analyst and corporate administratives during earnings conference calls. The sample covered the period from 2010 to 2017, totaling 1165 earnings conference calls transcripts from 44 Brazilian companies listed in B3 - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão. The main finding is that the transcribed tone and words based on the Loughran & McDonald (2011) dictionary, have significant predictive power over stock market reactions after earnings conference calls. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is perceived as the worst modern-times pandemic. This entirely new health situation entailed a new challenge to the education system. To our knowledge, the impact of alternative teaching methods derived from the social distancing imposed by COVID-19 on university student perception in teacher education has not been investigated. The aim of this study was to analyse an educative experience developed in a Faculty of Teaching from March 2020 to July 2020 in order to overcome the challenge imposed by COVID-19. A qualitative approach was used for data collection and analysis using four information sources: (a) The final written documents developed by the working groups (b) The online oral presentation of their work (c) The semi-structured interviews conducted through videoconferencing during the lockdown and, (d) The focus groups meetings. We have identified 8 major categories. Our results show that: (a) students find videoconferences are a tool that offsets the issues of social distancing; (b) intrinsic motivation is essential to overcome the perceived barriers; (c) the move to a virtual environment allowed students to deepen their methodological skills; (d) students now see themselves more competent regarding academic information research; e) the constant interaction among group members and the teacher is a key element to achieve a positive experience during social isolation; (f) new logistic and operational dynamics for cooperative working were constructed as a result of using videoconferences. We highlighted the barriers and facilitators perceived by students during the implementation of a tutorial action during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This study describes a teaching intervention carried out in the field of telecollaboration on a university-level course. Two main goals were set for this didactic innovation, which was carried out through an Interinstitutional Teaching Project: firstly, to increase the time of exposure to the foreign language (English/Spanish) and secondly, to raise cultural awareness among British and Spanish university students. The qualitative method has been applied in order to describe the participation and involvement of the learners. This case study firstly describes telecollaboration and the research that has recently been carried out in this field. Secondly, it presents the three phases of the project: action plan, development and evaluation. Thirdly, participants’ perceptions (both positive and negative) are described. Students’ comments are analyzed mainly in terms of linguistic, cultural or other general features expressed by participants. Finally, this case study includes a conclusion in which planning strategies and task design are emphasized, since both have brought about a successful experience for university students.

The continuing improvements in the worldwide access to the Internet are rapidly improving the ability forinternational collaborative eLearning. The University of Kansas (KU) and University of Costa Rica (UCR) aredeveloping eLearning strategies designed to establish meaningful and sustained relationships. We are investigating:1) how to use technology and pedagogy to enrich social interaction and learning, 2) strategies and technologies forengaging students in collaborating on issues of mutual interest, 3) understanding how the quality of relationships canimprove learning, 4) institutional issues and barriers related to implementing coursework, certifications and academicprograms across international institutions. Our analysis indicates that student collaborate more when they can meetin live teleconferencing as opposed to relying solely of asynchronous email or threaded discussions for collaborativeproject. Participantsreported that strategies that scaffold activities by beginning with clearly stated problems andachievable common goals, such as locating and ranking relevant web resources, contribute to richer collaborations.

The objectives of the following study were to study how the Infonnation and Communication Technologies - computer, teleconference and videoconference - were used for teaching, specificalIy for the teachers training course PEC- Formação Universitária (Campinas-SP), which took place from July 2001 until December 2002, to analyse the logical production and language of the contents available to the students in the technological resources and to verifj; if the participants understand that technology contributed for the training of the target group and which perception they have towards the technologies in the teaching. The participants in the training were: students, tutors, professors and other professionals (apprentices, developers, coordinators and assistants) from the PEC-Formação Universitária. The data were collected, mainly through surveys, semi-structured interviews and some observation. The procedures for the evaluation of the data consisted in a quantitative organization of the survey data, folIowed by a qualitative analysis of all the collected data. The results show that the use of interactive technology was not enough to guarantee the interaction between students and teachers. The teleconference classes, compared to the videoconference classes, were pointed out as the best ones in tenns of technical and pedagogical quality. Among the opinions of the participants it is clear that the classes given with the use of technology contribute to the learning process and require a different method in relation to the standard teaching, but the presence of the teacher will always be essential. The computer contributed in the process of "digital inclusion", but it was not efficient1y used considering its potential of interaction. The results suggests the rethinking of new methods of teaching with the use of technology and the necessity of adequate preparation for teachers and students involved. Teaching through the use of technology demands not only maintenance of equipment and training for those who will take or teach the course, but awareness and careful preparation in relation to pedagogy and quality of the studied information and the interaction between teachers and students Mestrado Ensino, Avaliação e Formação de Professores Mestre em Educação
