The article aims to develop a theoretical analysis relating ecofeminism and ecosocialism to gender relations and environmental protection. The problem question is: How is gender sustainability possible through ecosocialism? In order to answer it, we started from the perception of gender inequality and violations of women's rights through ecofeminist philosophy. We then argued for a socialist eco-feminist position for effective sustainable development and identified the relationship between eco-socialist foundations and their relationship with fraternity as a legal concept of social duties and, from this, we argued for a socialist eco-feminist position for effective sustainable development beyond economic growth. A deductive approach and bibliographic and documentary methods were used. In the end, it was possible to ascertain that the perspectives pointed out, as well as being correlated, present themselves as an appropriate path towards an effective sustainable human experience.
