With the development of society and the diversification of culture, the inheritance of history and culture has become an important issue. As a new generation of intellectuals, college students bear the heavy responsibility of inheriting and developing history and culture. The purpose of this paper is to explore the enlightenment of national music education to the historical and cultural inheritance of college students. Based on the comprehensive analysis of relevant literature and empirical research, this paper studies the basic connotation of folk music and its relationship with college students' education, puts forward the ways of promoting college students' folk music education from the aspects of internal research and external research, and analyzes the role of folk music in college students' historical and cultural inheritance. It is found that the countermeasures to carry out the education of folk music in ordinary colleges and universities are to arrange the curriculum reasonably, improve the teaching staff, make use of the campus environment, create a good atmosphere of folk music culture, make use of local folk music cultural resources, and carry out folk music teaching. Through the implementation of these methods, we hope to expand the influence of folk music and promote the inheritance of folk music culture among Chinese youth groups.

With the gradual development of Hainan's tourism industry, the majority of tourists are increasingly pursuing the meaning interpretation of tourism experience and the participation and interaction of tourism experience. This paper first defines the concept of wellness tourism, and constructs the RMFEP model framework; Secondly, through empirical research, this paper analyzes the resource advantage, market demand, function positioning, and tourism experience of Hainan's current wellness tourism. Finally, combined with the above content, this paper determines the development principles of Hainan cultural wellness tourism products, put forward development ideas, build a product system, and finally fit the development strategy.

Based on Princess Jasmine's the image characteristics, this paper analyzes the embodiment of the awakening, expounds on the spiritual connotation of Disney princesses in different times, and further analyzes the gradual awakening of feminist consciousness in the image of Disney princesses. It also explores the relationship between Disney princess movies and the development trend of feminism from a new perspective, providing a new way to promote the development of contemporary feminism.

This paper aims to provide a communication service path without experience certificate for Yao costume patterns, and expounds on the relationship between the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage and the value of the cultural creative industry. Based on analyzing the classification of Yao costume patterns in Guangxi and the relationship between the spread of intangible cultural heritage and economic development, this paper uses the analytic hierarchy process and user research method to determine the first and second indexes of users' demand for Yao costume patterns in Guangxi and calculates the weights of each level of indexes. At the same time, it puts forward the closed-loop industrial measures for inheriting and promoting Yao traditional decoration and analyzes the game and value between traditional decoration intangible cultural heritage culture, and cultural creative industry. The following conclusions are drawn: a balance should be maintained between cultural inheritance and economic development; The government and all sectors of society should work together to protect and promote cultural diversity and cultural innovation, and at the same time give full play to the economic value of cultural industry to achieve a win-win situation between culture and economy. The construction of the value system of intangible cultural heritage should be emphasized so that it can play a more important role in the process of modernization.

Furthermore, the paper outlines the fundamental principles of library logo design and supplements these insights with illustrative examples, offering a comprehensive exploration of effective methods for library logo design.

Guangdong traditional music, renowned for its distinct scales, instruments, and performance techniques, serves as a rich source of inspiration for contemporary piano music composers in the region. Through a meticulous analysis of both traditional and modern musical works, coupled with interviews with composers and archival research, this study unravels the intricate web of connections between these two musical forms. Drawing from these foundations, the research then establishes a clear link between the traditional and contemporary, elucidating how Guangdong traditional music's timbral nuances, melodic motifs, and rhythmic patterns have become integral to the fabric of modern piano compositions. Employing the concept of cultural typology in music studies, this paper not only highlights the influence but also seeks to categorize and systematize the interplay between these two musical genres. The findings, presented with the aid of figures and tables, offer a comprehensive view of the intricate relationships and cultural typologies that have emerged over time.This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the cultural dynamics in music composition, emphasizing the significance of Guangdong traditional music as a living heritage that continues to shape and inspire contemporary artistic expressions. It also underscores the broader implications of cultural typology in the context of music studies, opening doors for further research into cross-cultural music influences.

This theoretical paper gives an overview about how proper names and different name types exist in the mental system, also showing new solutions provided by the cognitive perspective in connection with old questions of name theory. Cognitive onomastics is a relatively new approach to the study of proper names based on a cognitive approach to language. In this framework, names as linguistic elements are parts of the cognitive system, thus mental representation and usage of proper names can be described by general cognitive processes. The overview of topics and directions of cognitive onomastic research shows that studying names and naming in a cognitive framework has a lot of potential. Providing further evidence of the advantages of the cognitive approach, the paper discusses two controversial issues of name theory. First, the meaning of proper names is addressed from a cognitive perspective, pointing out the complex meaning matrix of this word class; then the categorization of proper names is discussed, i.e., how the networks and subnetworks of names emerge within the mental lexicon.

Museums are becoming increasingly multi-medial experiences and with the emergence of the metaverse (Coates, 2021), immersive technologies (XR) are projected to form an important part of future museum experiences. With options to provide a multiplicity of non-hierarchical information, support individualised paths through exhibitions, and experiential visits, XR has the potential to help keep visitors engaged around complex and nuanced information (Mulcahy, 2017). Working on devices that most museum visitors already own, XR technologies present a promising move towards more inclusivity, accessibility, and active audience engagement. Contributing to research on the multiple uses of XR in UK museums, this paper focuses on how XR can be operationalised to address contested displays in Western museums. Using an external app for the British Museum as an example, this paper discusses the challenges arising from this intersection, including the entrenchment of immersive technologies in colonial power dichotomies, the risks of performative virtual interventions, and the conflicting agencies museums, companies, and individuals must navigate in this context. The author suggests, as a possible experimental approach, wiki-based XR interactions which engage with non-Eurocentric epistemologies and are co-created by communities commonly disenfranchised in Western museum spaces.

The Swahili word ‘kitambo’, which refers to occurrences in the past that are understood to be at least indirectly connected to the speaker, can be used to describe experimental museology through digital cultural heritage. There is a need to improve access and enhance conservation goals within African cultural heritage institutions, and the National Museums of Kenya (NMK) has been developing innovative technologies and communication tools with the Kenya Heritage Resource Information System (KEHRIS). This paper will discuss Digital Kitambo—a pilot project completed at NMK from 2013 – 2019 to create the spatially integrated database KEHRIS, digitise 10,000 artefacts and specimens from the archaeology and palaeontology collections, and develop digital learning programmes to engage a wider audience. Qualitative research methodology included participant observation, qualitative interviews and focus groups with museum staff as well as focus groups with primary and secondary teachers to develop curricula for local schools. This paper traces the evolution of Digital Kitambo from its inception and reflects on both the successes and shortcomings of the initiative with particular attention to its goals of decolonising the museum’s collections and contributing to new national narratives by engaging the public through digital initiatives.
