Psychiatrists such as Michael Fitzgerald, Christopher Gillberg and Yoshiki Ishisaka diagnosed Ludwig Wittgenstein posthumously with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Taking this diagnosis into account, the present paper discusses how Wittgenstein's philosophy reveals his cognitive difficulties. Wittgenstein's grammatical inquiries are particularly investigated here, highlighting his misunderstandings concerning the use of words – specially, his misunderstandings concerning analogies, which he tended to interpret literally.

ABSTRACT In this paper, we aimed to identify possibilities and difficulties related to teleservice in physical exercise for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) attended by a specialized service in Maceió, Brazil. The AB design was used, and, at baseline, instruments for characterizing the ASD-related symptom profiles of the participants and sociodemographic aspects of both the participants and their family mediators were applied. The intervention phase, which consisted of a teleservice in physical exercise via WhatsApp and a phone call for those who had smartphones and only via phone call for those who did not, was extended from April 2020 to December 2021 and counted on ten male children (6.8 ± 2.1 years old) and their family mediators. During the intervention, analyses of the audiovisual records of the family mediators were conducted regarding the possibilities and difficulties of the application of the intervention. Although there were technological and social difficulties, it was concluded that teleservice was an important strategy to continue the practice of physical activity in the home environment and was associated with an improvement in the relationship between family mediators and individuals with ASD.

This paper posits that autists do possess knowledge on the autistic psychological functioning. To demonstrate it, the article examines the autobiographical accounts of Lucy Blackman, a non-verbal autistic writer, whose analysis allowed us to understand the logic of autistic symptoms and highlighted the feasibility of a new libidinal regulation in autism.

Abstract This paper results from research that analyzed the narratives of mothers of autistic children about their experiences with their children, produced and shared by them through videos on YouTube. We used a qualitative methodology to debate the logic and meanings attributed to illness, health, motherhood, and childcare, towards a narrative reconstruction produced by us researchers. We observed that these women spoke primarily about their experiences as mothers of autistic children and directly addressed the emotional difficulties of having a child with autism, such as mourning the ideal child promoted by the diagnosis and the construction of care for an autistic child. Through the videos, the mothers form an identification group based on the premise that they lived everyday experiences, generating significant value and becoming an existential capital. Talking about such experiences in public and far-reaching spaces like YouTube produces, among other things, collective memories that develop a caring community. We understand that the individual story reported and produced in the videos can emotionally and pragmatically help others with a similar experience, re-inhabiting daily life.
