The objective of this paper is to investigate the limits of coping with the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil, in its first 180 days. The methodology used is bibliographic survey, to find gaps in the field of social sciences, and a discourse analysis, in a Marxist sense. The results indicate two types of problems: an organic, which is related to the condition of a country of dependent capitalism, which has a form of autocratic domination, which negatively influences public health; the other is the Bolsonaro's government and its inertia in dealing with the health crisis. Also, the pandemic develops unevenly, reaching mostly the poorest and blacks / browns, showing the class character of the pandemic in Brazil. Finally, we criticize the limits of the approaches that defend the return of the Keynesian State as a solution to the crisis of neoliberalism that the coronavirus opens up. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
