The objective of this paper is to analyze the migration of Swabian Germans to the state of Paraná in the post-World War II context, from a theoretical-methodological approach that emphasizes the simultaneous and articulated performance of the different scales and their respective actors, resources and interests, as important definers of the migratory process. For this, secondary data from specialized bibliography and census sources are used. As a result, the analysis made it possible to configure a renewed look at the migratory process of the past, as well as providing elements for greater understanding and understanding of contemporary migratory phenomena, thus stimulating the formulation of future research agendas.
