Background: Failure to fulfill the physical and psychological needs of breast cancer patients and their partners can result in anxiety, depression, and marital problems. Aim: The present study was performed with aim to elucidate the experiences of breast cancer women regarding partner's unsupportive behaviors. Method: This qualitative study was conducted with a Dickelman descriptive phenomenological approach in the chemotherapy and oncology department of Shahid Ghazi Tabatabai and Shahid Madani hospitals of Tabriz city in 2021. A total of 9 female breast cancer patients were included. Individual in-depth interviews and note-taking were used to collect data using MAXQDA Software. The semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. Interviews were analyzed using the Dickelman, Allen, and Turner method. Results: A total of 1500 primary codes were obtained, and finally 3 main categories were extracted including financial inadequacy, emotional impoverishment and breakdown of shared life, and existential devaluation as a woman. Implications for Practice: The results showed need for the husband to pay more attention to the impact of his behavior on his wife; also talking about the problem on the part of the couple is the biggest factor in understanding the support that can be expressed. Also, men and women do not think the same in understanding the needs of their sick partner. Male caregivers are usually less understanding of their spouses. Therefore, health professionals should pay more attention and help men cope with this problem and bear the suffering of their wives.

During the period of the corona epidemic, the present study aimed to determine the actual experiences of school counselors who provided consulting services to parents and teachers. In terms of objective, the research method was fundamental, while in terms of strategy, it was phenomenological. In Tehran in 2022, the research community included all school counselors. The researcher began the sampling process with the most seasoned professionals in the field of school counseling and continued until information saturation was reached. Seven women and three men were interviewed semi-structuredly for a total of ten participants. This research’s data was analyzed using the Colaizzi method and MAXQDA-20 software, yielding 5 major themes and 18 subthemes. Principal axes of school counselors’ experiences include consulting patterns, obstacles and challenges of providing consulting services, positive aspects of epidemic conditions, characteristics and competencies of counselors, and the pathology of the Corona era through the provision of consulting services. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the provision of advisory services encompasses a vast array of school counselor services and, as an indirect service, utilizes all of the school system’s resources for the development and progress of students. However, this essential service in schools is not yet utilized in an established manner and faces obstacles and challenges, so it is suggested that school counselors receive in-service training.

Background and Aim: One of the most important concerns of the educational system is the training of responsible people, which is very important for the future and life of students. Students' responsibility is one of the significant and serious issues that exist in the curriculum of all educational systems in different forms. Based on this, the main goal of this research was to represent the experiences and perceptions of teachers regarding the responsibility of female students of the first year of secondary school in Tabriz city. Methods: The approach of the present study is a qualitative interpretive phenomenology. The statistical population of the study was teachers in the city of Tabriz, using a purposive sampling method, 18 people; They formed the research sample. Saturation of the theoretical idea was the criterion for the number of samples. Semi-structured interview tools were used to collect data. After recording the interviews and implementing them, the data and information were analyzed by Dickelman, Tanner and Allen (1989) method. For the accuracy and robustness of data and information in the present study, 4 criteria of acceptability, reliability, verifiability and transferability were used. Results: From teachers' experiences and perceptions about responsibility of female students in junior high school, 7 main topics including the meaning and concept of responsibility, dimensions of responsibility, necessity of responsibility, responsibility education requirements, responsibility curriculum and strategies for promoting responsibility education and 19 topics Subsidiaries were identified. Conclusion: Educating responsible Human is the end of most societies and educational systems. Responsibility education, both in the form of formal and informal education, should be given more attention by educators and parents.

AbstractIntroduction and purpose: Marriage as a way to attain peace and human needs has always been front him and people always try to make the best choice for their partner to have a life full of satisfaction. Therefore, the present study seeks to investigate the lived experience in women who married without parental consent.Method: The research was carried out with a qualitative approach and phenomenological model.The statistical population of the study included 15 women who married without family consent and therefore have no relationship with their original family, were selected by purposive sampling method and sampling continued until data saturation and lack of access to new data.The qualitative research method used was semi-structured interview. All interviews were recorded and transcripted verbatim and analyzed using the Coliseum method.Findings: In this study, 4 main subjects and several minor subjects were extracted. The main subjects included: marital satisfaction, feeling lonely, distress tolerance and mutual support.Conclusion: According to Iranian culture and the deep influence of the family, the issue of family and parental satisfaction is a case that couples should pay special attention to when choosing and deciding to get married. The results of the present study showed low marital satisfaction, high loneliness, and low mutual support in the women. Also, relatively high distress tolerance has been obtained from the results.Keywords: lived experience, women, marriage without family permission, phenomenological study

Background and Aim: Effective monitoring and evaluation of human resources in countries require an agreed set of indicators and measurement tools. Due to the existence of different payment mechanisms, this study aimed to identify performance evaluation indicators in hospitals affiliated with the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Materials and Methods: A qualitative phenomenological study was conducted in 2022. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews, purposive sampling, and participation of 23 members of the Senior executives and financial team of hospitals affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences and analyzed by content analysis method using MAXQDA-10 software. Results: Twenty-three experts participated in this research, 78.2% were men and 21.7% were women, and a total of 526 final codes were identified and according to the balanced scorecard management tool in 4 main themes of finance, customers, internal processes, and growth and Development. Also 8 sub-themes of resource efficiency with 86%, medical tourism with 52%, professional ethics with 65%, satisfaction with 78%, accreditation with 48%, diagnosis and treatment with 78%, education with 56% and The research was categorized with 78%. Conclusion: The provision of optimal medical services requires managers to be aware of the performance of subordinate personnel, which makes it possible to choose the appropriate criteria, develop performance evaluation systems and conduct correct evaluation, informing Doctors regarding the indicators considered for more accurate evaluation are among the suggestions that can be a solution to the existing problems. Another important point considering the limited available resources is the role of doctors in the field of health tourism to which attention will lead to an increase in financial resources. The purpose of this study was to investigate and explain the challenges of primary school principals of Ahvāz in leading schools during the virtual education. To achieve this goal, a qualitative research method was used with Husserl's descriptive phenomenological approach. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight primary school principals, who were purposefully selected. Data were extracted and analyzed using Creswell’s analysis cycle, including data organization, reading and writing, description, classification and coding, interpretation of the data validity and reliability, and displaying and visualization of the data. The results showed that the school principals identified the challenges of the virtual school in the areas of financial resources, time, parent/family cooperation, professional development, responsiveness to the responsibility and teachers/school staff, respectively. In addition to these challenges, which were based on the theoretical framework of the study by Richardson et al (2015), principals described the other challenges of the virtual school as “shād application” and "family issues". The most important challenges of shād application are themes such as not defining the role of school staff except teachers, low internet speed, problem of students’ authenticating and leaving the shād application, inability of users to see the message recipients, and the low quality of the files sent by users in this application were detected. In addition, the principals described the challenges of families in terms of the two themes: "poverty and financial inability of families" and "unemployment, divorce, addiction and parental delinquency."

The culture of academic emphasis is one of the cultures at school, where teachers put collaborative methods on the agenda. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that make and develop the culture of academic emphasis culture in Tehran schools in school year of 2017-2018. This study was carried out in a qualitative method of phenomenological type. The sample for this study consisted of 24 experts and educators who were interviewed with semi-structured interviews, so that the data gathered based on theoretical saturation. In order to analyze the data, the “NVivo 10” software has been used. Findings of this study indicated that the four factors play the most role in academic emphasis culture in schools. These factors were: "the quality of educational activities" had the highest score, and in the first place, "constructive feedback" in the second place, "the quality of educational environment" in the third place, "mental and job security" was in the fourth place. Therefore, in order to grow the culture of academic emphasis in schools, all identified factors in schools must be developed in a coordinated way, since achieving a teacher's academic emphasis culture requires the development of a system that needs to be carefully planned and should be compatible with the needs of the community.

Background and Objective: Non-suicidal self-injury has become public health challenge in recent years. The prevalence of this phenomenon is higher among adolescents than other age groups. However, there are many ambiguities in conceptualizing non-suicidal self-injury. The objective of this study was to investigate the experiences of female high school students in Ardabil city who had committed non-suicidal self-injury. Materials and Methods: This qualitative descriptive phenomenology study was conducted with participation of 17 female high school students in Ardabil city who were selected via targeted sampling method in 2018-2019. Data were collected via semi-structured interview sessions. Colaizzi’s seven-step analysis method was used for data analysis. Results: The findings of the study showed three main categories include predisposing factors of self-injury, function of self-injury, and consequences of self-injury. The main categories were subcategorized into cognitive emotional features, incompatible relations, teenage problems in the family, calming down, forgetting the problems, impressing others, proving greatness and strength, feelings of regret and scarring. Conclusion: To better understand people involved with non-suicidal self- injury, it is essential to become more familiar with their experiences. From the participants̓ point of view, this behavior has underlying causes, functions, purposes and also the implications that should be addressed for prevention programs as well as proper evaluation and treatment. Objectives Understanding the concept of aging and its experience from the perspective of the elderly people can provide a deeper and more realistic understanding of the phenomenon and their problems and needs. The present study aims to understand and explain the lived experiences of aging in older adults living in Iran. Methods & Materials This study used hermeneutic phenomenological method to gather data, and Van Manen’s method was used for data analysis. Sampling was conducted from June 2014 to August 2015 and continued until new theme were provided. Data were collected through 10 in-depth, semi-structured interviews with older people and then were analyzed for explaining the concept of aging. Results Seven themes were extracted from the data, including the scent of deterioration, submerging in the turbulence of thoughts, lost dignity, deepened spiritual tendencies, wishing a happy life for others, transcendentalism and keeping possessions. Based on these themes, the concept of aging was explained. Conclusion Older people’s perceptions of aging can provide valuable data to gerontologists and professionals in related health, education and social fields to be used for reducing the existing problems, future planning for the elderly, better communication with this group, and improving aging knowledge the quality of life aged people.

The aim of the current research was to study the hot and cool executive functions in individuals with Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD). To this end, a systematic review study method with use of the hot and cool executive functions and AD/HD key words from web the Data (Pupmed, Springer, ProQuest, Scopus, Elsevier, Science direct, Google Scholar, Magiran), between 2006-2015 was conducted in accordance with research objectives to executed current study. Results revealed that from 9 published research most of them (4 studies) have been performed on 7 to 12 years old with 2-6 grade subjects with math disorder. Experimental studies (with 88%) are the most frequent among different types of studies. The cold and hot functions result in individuals with AD/HD revealed that in the hot system (decision making) included 9 study and in cold system its including reactive inhibition, planning, problem solving and work memory in 7, 2, 5 and 8 research, respectively. The results of these studies are associated with deficiencies in both hot systems included (decision-making) and cold system (problem solving, work memory, response control, and planning) in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Due to the problems of this group individuals in the field of executive functions, developing and implementation of educational and interventional programs are necessary.

Introduction: Doctors and nurses are at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19 disease. The aim of this study was to identify behavioral reactions and coping physicians' improvements in Covid-19 disease. Methods: In the present study, the phenomenological method was used. The population of this study included all physicians who recovered from Covid19 disease in Shahid Sadoughi Hospital in Yazd between March 2020 and June 2020.Sampling was purposefully selected and studied through in-depth semi-structured interviews and sampling continued until theoretical saturation. Colaizzi method was used to analyze the data. Results: Data analysis led to the identification of 2 main themes, 8 subthemes and 30 basic concepts. The first theme was "Effective Behavioral Reactions." Effective behavioral reactions included a set of reactions that included sub-themes: 1- self-management, 2- supportive behaviors, 3- relationship management, 4- effective emotion-based coping, and 5- problem-based coping. The second major theme was "dysfunctional behavioral reactions." Dysfunctional behavioral reactions included a set of reactions that included sub-themes: 1- avoidance behaviors, 2- pathological behaviors, and 3- rebellion and laziness. Conclusion: Overall, the results of this study showed that the experience of physicians with Covid-19 has severe and adverse consequences and sometimes growth, which were classified into two main axes of efficient behavioral reactions and dysfunctional behavioral reactions. Objectives Considering the rapid growth of elderly population in the world, especially in Iran, studying the quality of life in elderly people and the identification of factors affecting them is of particular importance. This research aimed to identify factors which could improve or deteriorate quality of life in elderly women and men. Methods & Materials The present research is a qualitative and phenomenological study. The study participants were 23 elderly who were selected by the purposive sampling method, having ages between 61 and 101 years. The elderly subjects consisted of 60.9% of women and 39.1% of men. Data were collected by in-depth and semi-structured interviews. The interviews were recorded and analyzed based on Streubert and Carpenter method. Results Research findings include 6 main themes and 24 subthemes. The main themes are as follows: “internal facilitate contexts”, “external driving factors”, “interpersonal challenges and problems”, “obstacles and deficiencies in the field of external”, “declined desires and aspirations”, and “necessities and suggestions for improvement”. Conclusion Our study indicates that to improve the life, the elderly should pay attention to factors such as the role of religious beliefs, proper nutrition, meeting relatives, reminiscence, and establishing proper social relationships. In addition, removing barriers such as breaking the taboo of elderly marriage, financial support, and providing counseling services could improve their quality of life.
