Intruduction: Today suicide is a major problem in the realm of mental health, and usually it has a psychological theme. Since the psychiatric patients gives so much attention in this scope, so, as a major aims of this study, studying the relation between suicide and demographic variables, psychiatric diagnosis and duration of mental illness among psychiatric patients is needed. Method: As an analytic-descriptive study, among all patients who have the inclusion criteria, those who admit informed consent (152 participant), complete questionnaires and other needed information’s. Then other necessary data’s were gives from the psychiatric documentations of the patients. Alongside data’s which gives from the patients and their hospital documentations, the Beck scale for suicidal ideation was used. The 20th version of SPSS software was used to analyzing data’s and it did through these statistical analyses: Pearson’s Coloration Coefficient, independent T test, and one-way ANOVA. Finding: With regard to statistical analysis there was not any significant relationship between suicide grade and demographic variables, psychiatric diagnosis and the duration of mental illness among patients. Conclusion: the distribution of the sample scores not relies on any demographic variables. It seems that cultural and social variables are important to keep in our mind. With taking account our limitations, further studies need to find exclusive and specific data’s.

- Abstract
Background: Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) infection may contribute to the development of extra-gastrointestinal manifestations like cardiovascular diseases. Detection of Helicobacter pylori in Athrosclerotic plaques is a strong evidence for this association which may play a role in pathogenesis of atherosclerosis with classic cardiovascular risk factor such as hypertension and lipid profile. The aim of this study was to explore the influence of H. pylori infection on lipid profiles in a large community- based study. Material and Methods: A total of 1754 (50.8% Female & 49.2% male) subjects (age >25 years old) were selected randomely from Monica Healthy Heart Study project. H. pylori status was determined by IgG ELISA method. Subjects with titers > 30 Iu/ml were cansidered seropositive. Data were analazed by using statistical software Spss version 18 and probability values <0.05 were considered statistically significant. Results: In multiple logistic regression analyses H.pylori infection did not show significant association with Lipid profiles (low HDL- cholesterol and High LDL- cholesterol) after controlling for age, sex, body mass index, hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, smoking and circulating hsCRP levels.(P>0.05) Conclusion: According to this large -- scale population- based study in large northern cities of Persian Gulf, there was no significant association between H.pylori IgG seropositivity and lipid profiles in both men and women. - Abstract
Background: Based on previous studies, tobacco smoking generally and water pipe smoking particularly, have high prevalence in Bushehr province. This study is a new analysis of the Persian Gulf healthy heart study with goal of determination of prevalence and pattern of cigarette and water pipe smoking in Bushehr province. Materials and methods: A total of 3735 men and women aged 25 years old or higher from three districts of Bushehr province (Bushehr, Genaveh, and Deylam) were participated in the study phase I in 2003, from which 1833 persons (49.7%) were participated in the phase II 6 years later in 2009. Demographic data and pattern of smoking, either cigarette or water pipe, were collected with personal interview. Gender specific crude and directly standardized prevalence of cigarette and water pipe smoking was calculated for both phases of the study. Results: Prevalence of cigarette smoking were 11.9% and 7.5% for the first and second phase, respectively. 21.6% of men and 0.4% of women in the first phase and 13% of men and 0.7% of women in the second phase were cigarette smokers. Prevalence of water pipe smoking were 17.9% and 12.9% in the first and second phase, respectively. 10.7% of men and 25.8% of women in the first phase and 7.1% of men and 19.05% of women in second phase were water pipe smokers. Conclusion: Water pipe smoking in women in Bushehr province was significantly higher than other non- southern areas of Iran. More studies are needed to determine main causes of women tendency in water pipe smoking in southern provinces of Iran. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Most cities in our country Iran has been located on compactable frames caused by water flow from gorges and deltas. There have been a number of significant investigations on potential geo morphological factors which are considered as a threat to the integrity of our cities however villages and countryside locations and their glaciers have never been a matter of such attention. In Iran civil centers have great similarities in common however differ significantly in terms of artistic entity. Rural civil centers follow Quarter sequence. It primarily follows balance of water and ice then elongates to precipitate surfaces. Topographical maps of the city of Sanandaj reveal the fact that this area in turn follows these characteristics and indicates that this city has never been a focal point of civil growth. Ethnical alteration has also been a factor in this regard. Area under investigation was designated after evaluation of topographical maps of Geo. In this work GIS software was employed for analyzing cooperative effect of internal and external centers and isothermal rates of past and present obtained for city of Sanandaj and snow lines was evaluated then through right program. In the latter stage Surfer software was employed and cooperates of adiabatic. At the end all maps were overlade and topographical map was obtained for snow line and rural area disparity. Glacier summits were as high as 2000 and these change in rout has significant effects which in turn shows frigidity in fourth period. Shape of graphical illustration indicates high synovial shape which indicates the exertion of fridge in the region. Theses surfaces are formed primarily due to the movements of ice lines along with mountainous fridge summit. Pinpointing snow line through utilization of Right procedure shows that yearly temperature is of significant in 2000 meter height. Designation of different circus of 99 small and big sizes indicates that circuses played a significant role in construction of fridge line in the region. Distribution of rural areas in city of Sanandaj follows the exact fridge summits proves the overall identity of fridge summits. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
