Abstract

Fauna of pycnonotic oribatid mites (Acari: Oribatida) in Eest Azerbaijan province was studied during 2014–2016. In this survey, 27 species belonging to 25 genera, 19 families and 13 superfamilies were collected and identified, of which the species Hypocepheus mirabilis Krivolutsky, 1971; Oppiella (Oppiella) nova palustris Laskova, 1980 and Suctobelbella (Suctobelbella) acutidens sarekensis (Forsslund, 1941)are recorded for the first time from Iran. Also an additional description is provided for Licnodamaeus inaequalis (Balogh & Mahunka, 1965) based on specimens collected from the East Azerbaijan province. Moreover, a checklist and an identification key of 27 pycnonotic oribatid mite species collected in this survey, is presented.

Abstract

Introduction: Green human resource management (HRM) is responsible for increasing awareness and informing and establishing interaction between an organization’s staff regarding the environment and environmental factors. In addition, with the use of green policies, green HRM leads to social responsibility among the staff, in a way that they are guided toward adhering to their responsibilities to the environment. This study aimed to design and explain a green HRM model with an emphasis to social responsibilities. Methods: This is an applied research in terms of goal and a mixed method study (qualitative and quantitative) and descriptive-survey in terms of nature and methodology. The statistical population included two groups of experts familiarized with green HRM (with an uncertain number); they scattered across the country and were entered into the study via selective sampling to design and explain the research model as the first group. The second group included 291 headquarters staff of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences selected by simple sampling based on the Cochran’s formula. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire of green HRM based on Jabbour’s scale (2010) and the Carroll social responsibility questionnaire (1991). Moreover, in-person interviews were conducted to design the model. To analyse the data, statistical methods and tests were used in two descriptive and inferential levels such as data homogeneity test, effect size index, variance inflation index, and structural equation modelling test; SPSS and PLS software was used for this study. Results: In this study, there was a positive, significant relationship between green HRM and social responsibility. In addition, the value of this impact was estimated at 0.230, 0.371, 0.211, and 0.306 based on the regression coefficient in the standard state. Moreover, the evaluation of the fit indices was indicative of the relatively suitable fit for the research data and the conceptual model. Conclusion: According to the results of the study, environmental questions must be included in the recruitment interviews to assess job applicants’ knowledge level in this area. It is also suggested that the recruitment exams are better to be carried out electronically.

Abstract

Background and aims: Hypertension is one of the most common and important risk factors of cardiovascular diseases. This phenomenon, if not cured, causes lots of problems in vital organs of the body like kidneys, brain, eyes, and heart. The aim of the current study was to identify factors which affect the time until myocardial infarction (MI) in hypertension patients using truncated Cox regression. Methods: This study was a population retrospective cohort and its statistical population included patients with hypertension symptoms, who had MI for the first time in Sari. A decision was made based on continuing the study as a nested case and control study because the number of MI incidents was low (7%) in the studied sample. In addition, the Cox’s model and truncated Cox were used for determining the factors affecting the patients’ survival. Results: The median and mean survival times in this sample were equal to 57 and 66.44 months, respectively. Considering time truncation, family history (HR=1.70) and the age at diagnosis (HR=0.99) were statistically significant in the Cox’s model (P< 0.05). Conclusion: Overall, using the Akaike criterion for comparing the survival time without the effect of truncation, the Cox’s model demonstrated better fitness by controlling the truncation effect. These results show the importance of controlling the truncation in those diseases in which it is impossible to distinguish the time of the appearance from the symptoms.

Abstract

In this study, a comprehensive model has been adopted to investigate how innovation capabilities affect organizational performance and how the mediating effect of intellectual capital has also been considered. Thus, the aim of this research is to investigate the effect of production, process and administrative innovation capabilities on organizational performance, considering the mediating role of intellectual capital of Payame Noor University, Shiraz center, which is using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) Was performed. The elements of innovation capabilities analysis include production capabilities, process capabilities, and administrative capabilities. The results showed that production capabilities, process capabilities, and administrative capabilities have positive effects on intellectual capital in Payame Noor University, Shiraz Center. The impact of intellectual capital on organizational performance has been significant. In sum, intellectual capital has a mediating effect on the relationship between innovation capabilities (production, process and administrative) and organizational performance in Payame Noor University, Shiraz Center. Intellectual capital is a mediating effect between innovation capabilities and organizational performance that aim to increase organizational performance.

Abstract

Background and Objectives: One of the most popular systems for creating structural changes in hospitals is total quality management; Which is known as one of the most important philosophies to increase the effectiveness of the organization and competitive advantage. This study aimed to investigate the barriers to the establishment of TQM in hospitals in Kerman Methods: This descriptive-correlational study examined the barriers to the establishment of TQM in hospitals in Kerman in 2019-2020. 377 managers and experts, medical, administrative and financial staff of the hospitals (188 Educational and 189 non-educational), entered the study through simple random sampling. Niga Barriers to implementing TQM questionnaire, Hershey & Blanchard Leadership Styles Questionnaire and Staff Maturity Questionnaire was used for data collection. Descriptive statistics (frequency, mean and standard deviation) and analytical statistics (Chi-square, independent t-test, analysis of variance and Tukey) were used to analyze the data. The significance level was 0.05. Results: The average total barriers to the implementation of TQM in Educational hospitals was more than non-Educational (P=0.046). The highest mean was related to cultural barriers and staff and imperative leadership and the professional organizational maturity of staff. Abstract

Market orientation is one of the major research streams developed in strategic marketing during the past ten years. This research aims at the effect of internal and external market orientations on organizational performance. With regard to intermediate variables, competitive advantages and the dependent variable of organizational commitment are evaluated. The statistical population of this research consists of the managers of small and medium sized enterprises in the Complex of Industrial Parks in Mazandaran Province. Totally, 220 managers are selected as a sample, using available non-probable sampling. Also, questionnaires have been used to collect the data. The analysis of the survey model has been done using the Lisrel software. The results show that internal market orientation leads to the development and improvement of organizational commitment. It is also found that the competitive advantage obtained from the positive effects of internal and external marketing helps small and medium industrial companies to improve their organizational performance.
