Background: In the modern age, with its increasing reflexivity, death has changed to technical issue, its quality is left to the medical profession, so a new definition of death is introduced as brain death and the possibility of organ transplantation. Therefore, this article aimed to investigate death attitudes and its relationship with organ donation. Materials and Methods: This descriptive-analytical study examined 475 people over the age of 20 years in Kashan in September 2017 using a population-based random sampling method. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire based on Giddens' theory of late modernity. Data analysis is based on correlation and structural equation design using SPSS and AMOS software. Results: Among the five dimensions of belief to death, natural belief, with the acceptance of death as the end of life and an inevitable reality as a result of rethinking, awareness of death, medical advances and confidence in experts of the field among the five dimensions of belief to death, had the highest average (3.77 out of 5) and were the most important explanatory variables for both religious (β=0.35, P

In this study the efficacy of intra- articular block by complex of bupivacaine, lidocaine and adrenaline in knee arthroscopy has been assessed. "n"nMethods: Forty one healthy adults (age range: 18-55 years) with knee problems selected for diagnostic arthroscopy. Anesthesia was induced by direct injection of 10ml 2% bupivacaine, 10ml 0.5% lidocaine plus 1/100000 adrenaline into the knee joint. Duration of operation and volume of serum used for irrigation during the procedure; pain and analgesics requirement, during and after arthroscopy; VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) score, at time of discharge from recovery and also patient's and surgeon's satisfaction were assessed. "n"n Results: Sixty eight percent and 29% of cases reported mild and moderate degree of pain perception during arthroscopy, respectively, and only one case for which general anesthesia was performed, reported severe pain. VAS mean was 2.78. Seventy eight percent of cases and the surgeon in 80% of procedures had excellent or good satisfaction with intra-articular block."n"nConclusions: Considering high level of satisfaction in both patients and surgeon and mean of VAS, complications of other modalities of anesthesisa and simplicity of the technique, intra-articular block can be used as an easy, safe and efficient method for knee arthroscopy.

Background and aim: Motivation in working as a set of internal and external forces is recognized as an important and necessary issue in nursing and other provider the services to patients to provide a tactful and high quality work. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between motivation in work and spirituality among nursing staff in the hospitals in Isfahan using spirituality-based motivation model. Methods: This descriptive-analytic study was performed in 2014 on 230 nurses, midwives, and health workers who were selected using randomly simple sampling in the state hospitals in Isfahan city. Data were collected through a questionnaire made by researcher consisted of 62 spirituality-based motivation questions in areas of extra- personal, intrapersonal, interpersonal, motivation and meta-motivation and spirituality. Results: In this study, 230 nurses, midwives, and health workers consisted of 57.8% (133) men and 42.2% (97) women were studied. Extra-personal communication with beta 0.86 had the greatest effect on spirituality in working, followed by intrapersonal communication with beta 0.70, and interpersonal and inter-individual communication with beta 0.59. In addition, spirituality variable was significantly effective on motivation and meta-motivation in working with beta 0.677. No significant relationship was observed between the factors of spirituality-based motivation model and education and age of individuals under study (P>0.05). Conclusion: Regarding to the effectiveness of extra-personal and intrapersonal communication compared with interpersonal and inter-individual communication on spirituality and motivation in working, it is suggested to promote this relation by hospital administrators. Background and aims: Ethical leadership provides commitment and loyalty in personnel. Since personnel confidences to their leadership, they won't find occupation stress. So, they will have no serious decision to leave their organizations. The present study was aimed to diagnose the effects of ethical leadership on nurses' occupation turnover intention. Job stress was examined as a moderating variable between ethical leadership and turnover intention. Methods: This research is a descriptive- correlational study in which 180 nurses were enrolled from the nurses employed in the hospitals affiliated to Shahrekord University of Medial Sciences. The instrument of gathering data was a standard questionnaire of ethical leadership, job stress, and turnover intention. Data was analyzed using statistical tests and SPSS software. Results: The results of this study indicated that there was a negative correlation and significant relationship between ethical leadership and turnover intention, and also a positive correlation, and significant relationship between job stress and turnover intention. (P<0.05) (β= 0.58) (β=0.66), respectably. Furthermore, there was a negative correlation, and a significant relationship between ethical leadership and job stress, (P<0.05) (β/0-=29). Conclusion: Ethical leadership could help nurses' job stress decrease and hence, turnover intention declines. Therefore, managers can promote ethical values and decreases job stress factors to increase nurses' trust, loyalty, and organizational commitment to prevent nurses, job turnover.
