In recent decades, the risks and environmental damage caused by economic growth, population growth and energy consumption have become more apparent. Meanwhile, one of the new advances in the study of the relationship between economic factors affecting environmental quality is the attention to the spatial nature of environmental phenomena. Therefore, the aim of this study was to model the relationship between carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and economic growth along with other influential factors. CO2 emissions as a criterion for environmental pollution in Iran have been studied using the Spatial Durbin Model (SDM) and in the framework of spatial panel data among the provinces of Iran during the period 2003-2017. The results of this study show that in total, real GDP per capita increases CO2 emissions at the provincial level, because the positive real GDP per capita coefficient is larger than the negative real GDP per capita coefficient of space. Another very important variable in increasing CO2 emissions in the provinces is the intensity of energy consumption and its spatial interruption, which has the highest significant and positive coefficients in the model of this paper. Also, the weighted price of provincial energy and its space interruption have had a significant and negative effect on CO2 emissions. Although increasing the degree of urbanization has not had a significant effect on CO2 emissions in the same province, but increasing the degree of urbanization in neighboring provinces has increased CO2 emissions. Finally, the spatial interruption coefficient of the dependent variable is significant and positive, which shows that the increase in CO2 emissions in neighboring provinces has increased CO2 emissions in the same province. The empirical test of the environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis plays an important role in designing a macroeconomic model for sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between growth and carbon dioxide emissions, emphasizing the role of renewable and fossil energy consumption in developing and developed countries. For this purpose, 26 developed countries and 41 developing countries have been considered in the period of 2000-2021. The results of the Westerland cointegration test (with cross-sectional dependence between countries) in developed countries and the Kao cointegration test (without cross-sectional dependence between countries) in developing countries indicate the existence of a long-term relationship between model variables in both groups of countries. FGLS and PCSE estimators show that in both groups of countries, renewable energy consumption has a positive and significant impact on the quality of the environment, and the absolute value of this impact is greater in developed countries than in developing countries, while this result for Fossil energy is the opposite. The N-shaped growth-pollution relationship is confirmed in both groups of countries. Therefore, it cannot be expected that pollution emissions will decrease in the long-run with the increase in GDP. Therefore, the claim that "economic growth is both the cause and the solution of environmental destruction" is doubtful. Background and Objective: Among greenhouse gases, CO2 has a crucial role; thus, its impact on health indicators such as life expectancy is of great importance. Hence, one of the most important challenges in the health sector has been the impact of the environmental pollutants emission, namely CO2, on life expectancy of men and women. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive-analytical and applied design with the health economics approach. The present paper examined the impact of pollutant emissions, namely CO2, per capita income, death rate and birth rate, separately on Iranians’ life expectancy. This analysis was conducted using Quantile regression with EViews10 software during the period 1960 - 2019. In this study, first, the impact of pollutant emissions on life expectancy of all Iranians was calculated. Then, the impact of CO2 on life expectancy of Iranian men and women in different quantiles was estimated. Results: The results confirm the impact of carbon dioxide emissions per capita on total life expectancy was -0.133 and the impact of this pollutant emission on life expectancy obtained -0.170 and -0.127 for men and women, respectively. Both effects were estimated as negative and significant. This effect on life expectancy of men was 0.43% higher than that of women. Furthermore, the impact of death on life expectancy was negative, while the effect of per capita income on life expectancy was positive. Also, birth rate had a positive impact on women's life expectancy, whereas, it showed a negative impact on men. Conclusion: The study revealed that CO2 emissions had a negative impact on total life expectancy of both men and women. Thus, in order to increase life expectancy in Iran, pollutants emission, namely CO2, should be controlled. Objective: Food production and supply chains contribute significantly to carbon emissions. The beef supply chain is of those food industry sectors with significant carbon emissions in its entire supply chain. In this study, the beef supply chain is studied by considering carbon emissions under the coordination contracts and the key decisions of supply chain players. Methods: The need to reduce emissions in energy consumption of upstream suppliers and downstream distributors encourages suppliers to do promotional work for manufacturing low-carbon products. Accordingly, the retailers would have the incentive to offer some encouraging schemes to the manufacturers, which stimulates the manufacturer's motivation to reduce emissions. In this research, price sensitivity, level of greenery, and the amount of advertising are considered to investigate the effects of these parameters on chain profitability of the chain and the decisions of the channel members. Cooperative Advertising contracts (CA), Revenue Sharing contracts (RS), and Cost Sharing contracts (CS) are also examined. Examining the decisions of supply chain actors and analyzing the results, the researchers proved that the increase in the effectiveness of green product advertisements pushes up the number of applicants for buying green products and makes the supply chain provide products with higher levels of greening. Results: Based on the achieved results, corporate advertising contracts increase retail advertising investment and total supply chain profit. They also increase channel effectiveness. This study also discussed the key role of advertising and its effects on the profitability of the channel. The results shied that the best way to increase the demand for green products is to raise the awareness of customers about the environment through advertising. When consumers' sensitivity to the level of the greening of a product increases, they tend to pay higher prices for low-carbon products. In addition, this study asserts that a cost-sharing agreement is also beneficial for companies and the supply chain, since it increases the level of greenery in products, brings higher profits for individual companies, and increases supply chain profits. Conclusion: This study comes with practical implications that can be used as support for decision-making. It indicated that a revenue-sharing contract with a low-performance difference after cost-sharing is a suitable option for the supply chain. Unlike the costsharing contract, almost all retail stores have computer systems and barcodes to track the sales of each meat product, so monitoring and verifying revenue is not a difficult task for the producer. A revenue-sharing contract not only helps the manufacturer and retailer achieve a "win-win" situation but also leads to a greater supply chain profit than a decentralized policy.
