Universities have a major role in managing and confronting crises, and in light of the outbreak of the new Corona virus, their responsibility increases in developing students’ awareness of how to successfully deal with the effects of that virus spread. Hence, this descriptive study aimed to survey the academic experts' perspectives about the most important Saudi universities roles to deal with the emerging Corona 38 roles were listed under three subdimensions in a questionnaire in order to reveal the students’ perspectives about the degree to which universities do their roles during the Corona epidemic according to the variables of gender, educational level, and specialization. Overall perspectives of students indicated that Saudi universities achieve their roles related to "the process of teaching" to a large extent, and the roles related to both "training and community service" and "students' activities" to a neutral extent. The results also showed that there were not statistically significant differences about Saudi universities roles during the Corona epidemic according to the variable of specialization, but there were differences about Saudi universities roles related to "the process of teaching" according to the variable of gender in the direction of female students, and their roles related to "training and community service" and "students' activities" according to the variable of educational level in the direction of postgraduate students. A significant issue in L2 context is the role of class participation structure in the occurrence of incidental form-focused instruction (FFI) for teaching grammar (Lehrer & Palincsar, 2004; Nassaji, 2010 & 2013). This study aimed at investigating the occurrence of FFI in different teacher-student classroom participation structures and its efficacy in the students' learning of the past tense of regular/irregular verbs during dictogloss tasks. To this end, 32 pre-intermediate students from a total of 70 participants ranging in age from 15 to 20 were recruited and subdivided into three groups (i.e., whole class, small group, and individual). Dictogloss tasks were used as the classroom activity. The interactions between teachers and learners lasting for two and a half months were observed, audio-recorded, and coded. Finally, an individualized posttest was employed one week after each classroom observation. The focus on form episode (FFE) was utilized as the unit of analysis. The results indicated that EFE occurrences were not equal across classroom participation structures and that the majority of FFEs took place in individual interactions, which were predominantly teacher-initiated. The group independence Chi-square showed a significant relationship between the type of participation structure and the occurrence of FFEs. Further analysis indicated that although the majority of FFEs took place in individual interactions, the small-group participation structure benefitted the most and the reactive FFEs and preemptive FFEs were found mostly effective in the small-group and whole class participation structures, respectively. The provocative question in the title, evoked from a classroom experience, is the starting and ending point of the reading presented on curriculum policies in a post-foundational perspective, based on recent texts by Lopes and Macedo. We argue that thinking about answers to this question is important for the context in which we live in denialism and dispute of truths. Without defending a truth, we want to think of the classroom as a space to privilege processes of subjectification resulting from practices of meaning inhabited by undecidability. Trying to answer the question of the title, we present deconstructionist readings in defense of the school space and the classroom as contexts that enable the creation of the subject that has not yet been invented, and, even so, constantly assume the constituent contingency of the world and that explain all action as a failed practice of attributing meanings, because it consists of difference and supplementation of meanings, which have no origin or possibility of closure, but which demand responses and hyper-politicize educational processes. This qualitative case study aims to explore pre-school prospective teachers' flipped classroom experiences while creating digital stories collaboratively. 70 pre-school prospective teachers who enrolled to the Basic Information and Communication Technology course participated in the study. The design of flipped classroom sessions includes pre-recorded lectures and in-class group activities on digital storytelling. Data was collected through demographic and open-ended questionnaires as well as focus group interview in 2018-2019 Spring Semester. The prospective teachers reported quite an experience with their flipped classroom approach including digital storytelling. They intend to use flipped classroom in different subject areas. Prospective teachers explained this experience is considered as unique and challenging. According to prospective teachers this experience had been considered as unique and challenging as they faced with both an innovative teaching approach and the requirement of creating educational digital stories. A key finding was that although flipped classroom itself is a distinctive and challenging process, prospective teachers have shown a high degree of satisfaction towards flipped classroom. Even though they struggled during digital story creation process which is a novel process for them, the flipped classroom design might enhance the learning experience. Moreover, they had positive experience about technology use in this experience and preschool age. It is aimed to reveal the level of understanding messages send by graphical symbols and to make a study that would compensate for missing learning of students who study at eighth class. An activity was conducted in which a single group pre-test and post test pattern method was used with 58 students studying in eight class of Alata Secondary School in Erdemli district of Mersin within this context. At the beginning of the process, "Matching Questions for Understanding the Messages of Graphical Symbols Correctly" has been applied as pre-test to the students. A video had been prepared by the researcher and which contains the importance, purpose of using and the meanings of graphical symbols they encounter in their schools and products they buy from school canteen was showed after the test. Finally the matching questions were applied to the students again as post test. In findings, these have been found that the students were not aware of the meanings of all the graphical symbols they already met but the activity based on the prepared video developed the skills of understanding the messages of graphical symbols correctly.
