Research shows that there is a significant resources waste in construction, and accordingly lagging in productivity behind the productivity of the global economy and industry in particular. There is also a small number of papers and studies on this waste. On the other hand, a higher productivity level requires small waste of material, energy and other inputs. Therefore, construction companies are deciding to introduce lean as one of the leading methods of waste reduction. This paper deals with the introduction of lean in construction companies in BiH, currently at very low level. Bearing in mind that most construction companies in BiH are small, it concludes that introducing lean and thus reducing the resources waste and increasing productivity and competitiveness requires more information and particularly skills improvements. This paper is a continuation of papers published 10 years ago, which covered the tests results obtained during the period from 1997 to 2013. The paper presents the test results obtained during the period from 2013 to 2023. Based on scientific methodology, the use of relevant literature as well as laboratory test methods, the authors analyze and evaluate the obtained results of testing natural stone as a basic raw material for the production of dimension stone (DS) and crushed stone aggregate (CSA). Test results are based on applicable test methods. The paper presents natural stone deposits for the production of DS and CSA, as well as the results of testing their physical and mechanical properties as the basic evaluation criteria. The paper presents the results of the rescue archaeological excavations at the prehistoric stone mound in Drinovci (Grude Municipality, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina). The excavations documented a total of five graves that can be placed within two time horizons: the prehistoric (graves 1, 2, 5) and the medieval (graves 3, 4). Grave 1, while badly damaged, was the only one with any finds: a tendril made of spirally coiled double (“infinite”) gold wire, and a deformed specimen with the same typological characteristics in its immediate vicinity. They are the oldest known and published gold finds from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The best analogies to the gold objects from Drinovci come from the middle and early stages of the Late Bronze Age in a wider Central European area. These widely distributed objects show that this cultural region, or its local elites, participated in the already active supra-regional network of exchange and communication. Moreover, the excavations in the space between the graves found potsherds of prehistoric features, largely devoid of narrowly identifiable typological elements. The area of the excavated mound was again used as a burial site in the late Middle Ages, which is a welldocumented but unfortunately still poorly researched practice of this cultural region. The paper examines the causes of insufficient implementation of public-private partnership projects in the field of road infrastructure. The aim of this paper is to present the possibility of using the public-private partnership concession in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the construction of road infrastructure. The results of the research can be useful to public bodies in implementing the first phase of the life cycle of a public-private partnership project, i.e. in preparing the necessary study documentation, and then selecting potential public-private partnership projects in road infrastructure in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, there is an evident lack of research in the field of geodiversity valorization, which has resulted in the neglect of its scientific values, as well as insufficient development of geotourism. The aim of this paper is to valorize selected geomorphological sites in Blidinje Nature Park, considering their geotourism value. The applied methodological concept was created as a result of an analysis of existing methodological templates of geodiversity valorization, where the criteria for the assessment of basic, additional, conservation, and tourism value were combined. In this regard, one of the objectives of the paper is to contribute to a better understanding and application of methodological concepts of tourism valorization, especially within protected nature areas. During the research, 44 sites were singled out and, based on the results of the preliminary assessment, a list was created with a total of 23 sites that were valorized of which eight stood out with a higher than average mark. The results of this research indicate the potential for the development of the geotourism supply of Blidinje Nature Park, for which the basis should be the best-rated geomorphological sites. The globalization of geospatial data and geodetic reference frames is important for the overall development of both national and global economies. In accordance with the needs for defining a general geodetic reference frame, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the resolution "Global Geodetic Reference Frame for Sustainable Development (GGRF)" in 2015. The European Union member states have addressed the issue by adopting joint directives, recommendations and other acts to adapt national laws. Bosnia and Herzegovina and its neighboring countries, non-EU member states, have enacted appropriate legislation and decisions to adapt to the globalization of spatial data and reference frames. Therefore, the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs (FGU) has undertaken certain activities in order to establish a new geodetic reference frame through changes in legislation, renewal and establishment of new reference systems and measurements. The paper will discuss the existing geodetic reference frame and the activities of the FGU on the introduction of new geodetic datums and map projections in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH). Many roundabout capacity models are present in the world and they are classified into three key groups: empirical models, theoretical models, and microscopic simulation models. In Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, there is no roundabout capacity model prescribed by a rulebook. Theoretical capacity models are derived from gap acceptance theory. Due to some deficiencies of gap acceptance theory, Brilon and Wu introduce a new concept for analyzing the capacity of unsignalized intersections, and thereby of roundabouts too, based on conflict theory and queuing theory. This paper analyzes three roundabout capacity models most commonly used in the world (HCM, Akcelik, Brilon-Wu), with different theoretical backgrounds, in order to compare them with directly measured capacity in the field in local conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and thus to see the differences in application results. In this paper, the authors work on the basis of the present knowledge, especially in the interest of realization of the concept of long-term development of tourism, to point out the need and representational basis for the separation of tourist-geographic regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The basis of the functional tourist and economic regionalization of Bosnia and Herzegovina served the concept of separation of tourist-geographical regions. The research of tourism development of the Tuzla region within this work requires the spatial definition, ie the demarcation of the tourist region in the area of Northern Bosnia. During the delimitation of the Tuzla tourist region, the former geo-tourist and economic concepts of the Northeast Bosnia- Herzegovina regionalization were taken into account with six proposals being made. For this purpose, a geographic analysis was carried out and proposals for certain corrections of the former physiognomic boundaries and the spatial coverage of regional units of the first and second level were made, along with the established guidelines for further research in this field. During the field research conducted, the emphasis was placed on the detailed attribution of tourism potential and their role in spatial organization and tourism development. Motives and goals basically come down to the need to establish a more effective coordination of tourism development at the Tuzla tourist region, linking tourism destinations, to a range of common development issues, and achieving greater efficiency of the overall economic development. This paper provides a short analysis of the areas where there are tourism resources and facilities with the dominant function of tourism, i.e. in which tourism can become a dominant economic activity. In this paper morphological-hydrographic changes in the area of the coal open pit "Turija" in Banovići basin (north-eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina) are researched. The study was based on the field data and comparative analysis of topographic maps, satellite images, Digital Elevation Model and situational plans of the open pit area. With conducted GIS analysis of natural and anthropogenic relief of open pit "Turija" the changes in the structure of hypsometric level, slope and aspect, and the changes in the surface hydrographical network etc. are determined. The general trend of ground levelling, decrease in altitude differences, gradual disappearance of physical micro relief, disappearance of geomorphologic boundaries on the surface, disorganization of hydrographical network, the development of positive and negative forms of relief, and greater presence of physicalanthropogenic processes and forms in relation to physical ones are determined. Reduction of territories with southerly, easterly and westerly aspects, and a significant increase in territories with northerly aspect is also determined. Geospatial data obtained by GIS after their analytical and synthetic processing are geovisualized. Ten thematic maps were made and they provide insight into resulted changes in the researched geographical area. The explored indicators can serve as a significant factor in the future planning and selection of the type of re-cultivation of degraded areas in the area of research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
