- Abstract
In the present research essay, the University Grants Commission through its various schemes (2002 to 2012) provided basic facilities, educational facilities and research facilities and facilities to the colleges. With special reference to the college of such additional assistance what has been its effect on the academic, basic, physical, professional, technical, research and social development of the colleges in Dhule and Nandurbar districts. An attempt has been made to shed light on this through research. Education is the overall development of a person. He becomes ideologically profound. A sense of right and wrong arises in it. Professional knowledge was not only acquired but along with it a vital outlook and specific social ideology was formed. Of course, our economic and social conditions depended on the education received. The society which got this education or the society which got this education became prosperous economically and socially. Josamat was deprived of education.
