This thesis aims to evaluate and provide an updated review on the methods developed to measure brain atrophy and analyze the progression of brain atrophy in clinically isolated syndromes also to investigate brain volume loss as a measure of disability progression and provide an overview on gray and white matter lesions in multiple sclerosis patients.

Darbe apžvelgiama tinkuojamų ir vėdinamų fasadų praktika Lietuvoje ir užsienio šalyse, taip pat apžvelgiami šių skirtingų sienų šiltinimo sistemų įrengimo ypatumai. Darbe pateikta metodika leidžianti apskaičiuoti sienų varžas, pagal kurių skaičiavimus galima pradėti lyginti skirtingas fasadų apšiltinimo sistemas. Skirtingi fasadų šiltinimo tipai lyginami tiek pavieniais kriterijais, tiek daugiakriterinio vertinimo metodais, tokiais kaip: SAW, TOPSIS, COPRAS. Tyrimo metu atlikta ekspertų apklausa apie kriterijų reikšmingumą. Pasitelkus subjektyvaus kriterijų reikšmingumo nustatymo metodą, apskaičiuoti vertinimo kriterijų svoriai. Naudojant daugiakriterinius metodus, iš pasirinktų sienų šiltinimo sistemų alternatyvų, mažaaukščiams +A energetinės efektyvumo klasės gyvenamiesiems pastatams, išrinktas geriausias variantas. Apibendrinti vėdinamų ir tinkuojamų fasadų privalumai ir trūkumai., This paper reviews the practice of plastered and ventilated facades in Lithuania and other foreign countries, as well as peculiarities of installation of different wall-warming systems. The paper presents a methodology for calculating resistance of the wall, which allows to compare different facades insulation systems. Different types of facades insulation are compared by both individual criteria and multi-criteria evaluation methods, such as: SAW, TOPSIS, COPRAS. The study conducted a survey of experts opinions about the significance of criteria. Using the method for determining the significance of subjective criteria, weights of the evaluation criteria were calculated. The best option from chosen alternatives of walls insulation systems for small storey +A energy efficiency class living buildings was selected using multi-criteria methods. The advantages and disadvantages of ventilated and plastered facades were summarized.

Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos modulinės meninės formos, kurios šiuolaikinėje architektūroje skverbiasi į įvairių mastelių struktūras – nuo miesto urbanistinio audinio kompozicijos, pastatų konfigūracijos iki detalių. Modulis, kaip proporcijų matas, architektūroje taikytas nuo antikos laikų, o dar didesnę reikšmę įgavo XX–XXI a., didėjant inovatyvių statybų mastui ir tobulėjant informacinėms technologijoms. Įprastinė modulio, kaip statinio fiksuotojo dydžio, samprata pasipildė kintamų, prisitaikančių modulinių dydžių, tokių, kaip antai: fraktalas, parametras, algoritmas, – sąvokomis. Įvairios modulių išraiškos ir tendencijos atsiskleidžia ir nūdienos Lietuvos architektūros pavyzdžiuose, kuriuose modulines menines formas sudaro pasikartojantys erdviniai bei plokštuminiai elementai. Erdviniai moduliai, tokie kaip sekcija-butas / patalpa, ir plokštuminiai moduliniai sienos elementai tampa būdinga, tik vis dinamiškesnės ir plastiškesnės išraiškos šiuolaikinės architektūros forma. The article analyses modular artistic forms that emerge in all scale structures of contemporary architecture. Module, as a standard unit of measure has been in use since antiquity. It gained even more significance amid innovative building and computing technologies of the 20th and 21st centuries. Static and fixed perceptions of a module were supplemented with concepts of dynamic and adaptable modular units, such as fractals, parameters and algorithms. Various expressions and trends of modular design appear in contemporary architecture of Lithuania, where modular forms consist of repetitive spatial and planar elements. Spatial modules as blocks or flats and planar modular wall elements are a characteristic expression of the contemporary architecture in Lithuania.

Seit der Wende 1989 wird das Problem der Grenze in der neuesten deutschen Literatur viel diskutiert. Die­ses allgemeinmenschliche Thema ist auch in Litau­en, als einem postsowjetischen Staat, aktuell. Nach dem Zerfall der auseren Grenzen sind jedoch im Bewusstsein der Menschen die innerlichen Grenzen geblieben. In diesem Artikel wird anhand von zwei Romanen ( Murmanti siena/Die murmelnde Mauer , 2008 von Sigitas Parulskis und Das Provisorium/Laikinumas, 2000 von Wolfgang Hilbig) das Phano­men der Existenz an der Grenze naher betrachtet. In beiden Romanen erscheint die Grenze als real exi­stierend und als innerlicher Zustand. In der Metapher der Grenze sind Uberschreitung, Uberwindung, das Treffen mit dem Anderen, ein Schwellenzustand ver­borgen. Die Protagonisten beider Romane befinden sich an der Schwelle, in der Grenzzone, die sie be­angstigt, aber auch die Schwelle (oder sich selbst) zu uberwinden – die Grenze zu uberschreiten – zwingt. Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es Fragen aufzuwerfen, die in Verbindung mit dem Phanomen der Grenze, den Versuchen sie zu uberwinden in Verbindung stehen. Die Erfahrungen, die sich in den Texten offenbaren, werden anhand phanomenologischer Begriffe unter­sucht. Die aufgeworfenen Fragen konnten spater zu tieferen Erkenntnissen fuhren.

Savo diplominį darbą sieju su aukštomis tarsi sienos tvoromis, kuriomis aptvertos statybų teritorijos, apleisti namai. Neretai tokios sienos ,,papuoštos“ grafiti raštais ar visaip aprašin÷tos. Many architects is working with AutoCAD system. But it is very time consuming work when it is needed to do such a work like drawing 3D models of walls with openings. This can be solved because of AutoCAD open architecture. Advantages of this would be less of errors in drawings and more time for other work for architects. Created software is able from 2D draft of lines make 3D walls and, if was chossed, openings. The user describes dimensions of wall and / or opening and the program will change selected line by set of planes with the opening inside. There are a few aviable options for user choise: openings may have a form of triangle or rectangular, walls maybe be like surfaces or lines, it is possible to create a wall with an array of rectangular openings, and delete already created walls leaving primary lines. For software creation was choosen Visual Basic for Aplication programing language because of it is object – oriented and easy comunication with standart AutoCAD’s classes and graphical objects. User‘s dialog’s form was choosen nearly these, what apear in such software like Architectural Desktop because of its logical simplicity. Supposing created software will be developed further in these ways: o Adding more opening’s shapes o Creating library of opening’s o Supporting all standarts needed for professional.

Šiame straipsnyje Lietuvos Valstybes sienos apsaugos tarnybos ryšių su visuomene tobulinimas nagrinėjamas viešojo administravimo problemų kontekste. Lietuvos Valstybes sienos apsaugos tarnybos ryšių su visuomene viešojo administravimo tobulinimas yra aktuali problema, po Nepriklausomybes atkūrimo moksliniu požiūriu dar nenagrinėta ir reikalinga konstruktyvių teorinių ir praktinių sprendimų. Šio darbo tikslas ir yra atskleisti Valstybės sienos apsaugos tarnybos ryšių su visuomene sistemos svarbą ir tolesnės raidos galimybes bei viešojo administravimo priemonėmis suaktyvinti jos funkcionavimą. Realizuojant šį tikslą darbe apibrėžiamos prie Valstybės sienos apsaugos tarnybos ryšių su visuomene sistemos kūrimo bei jos institucijų viešojo administravimo prisidedančios grandys, atskleidžiamos jos plėtojimo perspektyvos, išryškinamos prioritetinės problemos ir numatomi jų sprendimo būdai. Čia analizuojami Lietuvos Valstybės sienos apsaugos tarnybos ryšių su visuomene sistemos pagrindiniai elementai, renginių dinamika, jų prasmė ir vaidmuo, parodytas tarptautinio bendradarbiavimo vaidmuo plėtojant Valstybės sienos apsaugos tarnybos ryšius su visuomene integracijos į Europos Sąjungą procesų kontekste. Following restoration of Lithuania's Independence improvement of public administration of the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service public relations has become one of the most urgent issues, which so far has not undergone proper scientific analyses and therefore, requires constructive theoretical and practical decisions. This work aims at revealing a system order of the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service public relations as well as at developing and improving its functioning by introducing perspective public administration measures. To achieve this goal the present work tries to define supplementary units and institutions of the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service public relations system development, its development perspectives and to point at priority problems as well as ways of their solution. It also seeks to make research of the principal elements of the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service public relations system and to analyse dynamics, objectives and importance of its organised events. The present paper reveals the role of international co-operation in development the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service's relations with the public and in improvement public administration of these relations in the context of the processes and Lithuania's integration into the European Union. In order to improve administration of the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service public relations the author of this paper presents some practical and theoretical proposals
