Abstract: Described is a numerical procedure to estimate spatial soi1 liquefaction potential based on geo-statistical technique. Geo-statistical,which has been used to estimations of ore grade distribution in mines,is a kind of statistical estimator technique on the assumption of spatial corre1ation of estimated variables. Firstly, the va1idity of this procedure is verified with hypothetica1 model ground. Secondary, the procedure is applied to estimation of spatia1 liquefaction potentia1 around Fukui City. The relation between the estimated liquefaction potential and the micro-topographic condition is investigated.
