Akashima is a small island in Goto City, Nagasaki prefecture. Inhabitants of this island depend on stored rainwater for survival. Activation of the island is difficult because only rain water saved by each household can be used. In the summer of 2017, we began activating the island by making facilities to save rain water. We named these activities "Shimaame Lab", and in addition to creating logo designs, websites, YouTube channels, and Facebook pages, we published images on Google Street View. Using an analysis tool revealed that users who are interested in education, fishing, and natural environment access the media most frequently.
