This study aimed to identify tasks to teach basic movements to young children with poor motor skills. Additionally, it aimed to examine the factors that facilitate their participation in exercise programs and motivation to learn such movements. The authors created an observation sheet covering 93 basic movements. This sheet was used to analyze video footage of five participants during an exercise class. The following findings were obtained: (1) All participants appeared to delay their movements when they encountered an exercise for the first time. (2) While the program was designed to incorporate three basic movements in each session (balance skills, locomotor skills, and manipulative skills), manipulative skills were performed rarely. (3) Participants performed poorly on exercises that required whole body coordination, such as “hopping on one foot” or “crouching.” (4) Participants who exhibited excessive running around and yelling were able to calm down and participate in the program after engaging in a “pushing” exercise. The above results suggest the utility of the following aspects an exercise program designed for children with poor motor skills: (1) a program structure incorporating manipulative skills into one activity that is carried out continuously, two to three times, (2) specific consideration of the frequency of performance of manipulative skills, (3) incorporating play, such as a sensorimotor or a game in which participants push with all their strength at the start, and (4) devising a dance that incorporates movements broken down into pieces that will lead to the acquisition of movements that participants perform poorly.

An exercise program with immediate results was developed for the elderly in 1997. This group exercise program is based on the concept of proprioceptive neuro-muscular facilitation (PNF) and it allows participants to see immediate results.The current study examined how the exercise program affected participants' quality of life （and specifically their health-related QOL）.Study subjects were divided into two groups, an intervention group that performed the exercise program, and a control group that did not perform the exercise program.The intervention group consisted of 15 middle-aged to elderly subjects ranging in age from 53 to 81 years, with an average age of 66.67±8.55 years. Subjects attended 10 weekly lectures, 90 minutes per session, that included how to perform the exercise program. A health-related QOL instrument （SF-36v2TM）was administered during the first and last lectures.The control group consisted of 11 middle-aged to elderly subjects ranging in age from 50 to 79 years, with an average age of 65.18±8.54 years. Controls did not attend lectures or receive coaching, and they did not perform the exercise program. The same QOL instrument was similarly administered.There was no significant age difference between the intervention group and the control group.A comparison of the average scores on the subscales of SF-36v2TM during the first and last lecture indicated that only the average score for "Physical functioning (PF)" decreased for the intervention group. application/pdf, 高齢者医療費や介護保険費用の高騰は、社会的問題であり緊急な対策が求められている。そこで虚弱高齢者と健常高齢者を含めた介護予防プログラムが提案されている。その中でも重要な課題の1 つとして下肢機能の再獲得を目標とする運動支援がある。しかし、虚弱高齢者に適した身体機能の評価方法は十分に確率されていないため、効率的な運動支援プログラムが検証されていないのが現状である。これまでに本研究では新しい運動プログラムとして、下肢創動運動を筋電図を用いて下肢機能の観点から評価し、運動の有効性を確認した。本論文では、下肢創動運動時の心拍変動解析より、身体的および心理的負担を考察し、理想的運動強度および回復曲線、副次的効果として自律神経系の変化について検討した。その結果、下肢創動運動は、虚弱高齢者におけるリハビリテーションとして、有用な運動の1 つであることが示唆された。

本研究では,中高年者の健康に対する意識と運動の実態を把握し,柔軟性と平衡性を高める運動プログラムを作成することを目的とし,さらに,中高年者の健康づくりプログラムとして有用であるのかを検討した。調査は,2013年9月から10月,M市劇団Sの団員24名(66.9±5.5歳)を対象として行った。2ヶ月間に柔軟性と平衡性を高める運動プログラムを週1回,計6回,実施した。実践前後に体力測定実施,質問紙調査を行ない,中高年期の健康に対する意識と実態を把握し,今回作成された運動プログラムが健康づくりプログラムとして有用であるのかを検討した。その結果,(1)ストレッチのような低強度の運動でも,運動の実践は体力の改善につながる可能性が示唆され,(2)運動習慣を高めていくことは,運動不足による機能の低下を最小限に抑えることができ,健康的に良好であることを保った状態で生活を送ることによって,健康評価を高め,本人の幸福感に少なからず影響を与えることにもなると考えられる。以上のことから,運動不足と感じている中高年者に向けて,柔軟性と平衡性を高める低強度のストレッチプログラムは,中高年者にとって積極的に運動に取り組む機会となり,継続することによって日常生活動作(ADL)が維持されることが期待できるため,高齢期に向けて習慣にむすびつけやすいものであることが示唆された。, The purpose of this study was to clarify middle-aged individuals' health awareness and their status of exercise, develop an exercise program to increase their flexibility and balance, and confirm its usefulness to promote their overall health. The study was conducted in September and October 2013, involving 24 members (66.9±5.5) of the theatrical company S based in M-City. During the 2-month study period, the subjects performed exercise once weekly, 6 times in total, based on the developed program to increase their flexibility and balance. They underwent a physical fitness test and questionnaire survey before and after the intervention to clarify their health awareness and status of exercise, as well as the usefulness of the developed program to promote their overall health. The results suggested that: 1) even low-intensity exercise, such as stretching, improves physical strength; and 2) the promotion of exercise habits prevents reduced functions due to insufficient exercise, and enables individuals to lead a daily life while maintaining a favorable health status, consequently improving the overall health aspect with a marked influence on subjective well-being. In line with this, the developed program based on low-intensity stretching to increase the flexibility and balance of middle-aged individuals, who feel a lack of exercise, may provide them with the opportunity to actively perform exercise, and maintain their activities of daily living (ADL) through continuous exercise. Therefore, it is also likely to contribute to the development of exercise habits to help reduce aging-related function loss.

An exercise program with an immediate effect was developed and implemented at the A private sports club in 2000. 成人看護学における看護実践能力の育成にむけて、急性期実習前の学内演習プログラムを新たに作成し、その有効性を明らかにすることを目的として、研究への協力が得られた３年生45名を対象に演習プログラムの実施および調査票を用いての評価を行った。 学内演習プログラムの実施時期や時間、演習項目、演習方法に対する評価は概ね高かった。周手術期の演習項目の到達度評価では、術直後の覚醒状態、循環状態、痛みのアセスメントについては比較的自己評価が高かった。一方、各種ライン挿入中の体位変換の実施と酸素療法の実施については自己評価が低い傾向がみられた。重症患者の演習項目の到達度評価では、酸素飽和度の測定、意識レベルのアセスメント、認知領域の学習目標の到達度評価では、人工呼吸器管理は一部の項目を除いて比較的自己評価が高かった。一方到達度評価が低かったものは、モデル人形への口腔内・鼻腔内吸引の実施、モデル人形への点滴静脈内注射の実施であった。 演習の学習目標の到達度評価が低かった項目には、実習中に経験することが難しかったり、高度な学習内容を含んでいたり、習得にはトレーニンを重ねる必要がある項目が含まれており、学生にとってイメージしやすいような工夫やトレーニングのための機会を増やすことの必要性が示唆された。

The purpose of this study is to examine the viewpoint about how to develop an exercise program for senior citizen which can help them exercise in happiness without any anxiety, exercise continuously without any decline in motivation. Especially in the fall prevention of senior citizen, the aim of this program is to maintain or improve the body function which is closely related with falls and it includes balance ability, coordination and muscle strength. Moreover, new approach in this exercise program consists of a series of gymnastic actions accompanied by music, using safety apparatus such as ball and rejection of insipid repetitions. In other words, the viewpoint of the development of this exercise program is devised for pursuing happiness and increasing exercise motivation.

The purpose of this study was to implement a community-based exercise program for postdischarge stroke survivors in the public health center. The subjects were fourteen male stroke survivors with chronic upper and lower limb paresis (63.0±5.9 years). The study design was quasiexperimental, with each subject serving as his own control. All subjects have to meet following inclusion criteria (1) first stroke resulting in hemiplegia, (2) at least 6 months post-stroke, (3) able to walk independently, and (4) free from grave aphasia, apraxia, agnosia, or disequilibrium. A 25-week (2 deek) training program consisted of a warm-up, lower and upper extremity muscle strengthening, recreational activities, walking training, and a cool-down.
